I bought this thinking it would be amazing but unfortunately, it's not helped that much. I don't have severe acne but I have lots of small red bumps on my cheeks and forehead. It helped in a way, because when it was on, I didn't pick at my skin, but it didn't clear it as I had expected.
I had a sample.Drying lotion? Yeah ,that's right.Full of alcohol so it is drying.Alcohol at this level causes cell death, collagen breakdown, breaks down skins natural barrier so this will result in guess what ? Dry unhealthy skin. Even the name of this would make me head for the hills. Steer clear!!
I've read the reviews I've seen all the YouTube videos so of course I had to try it... It did absolutely nothing to my pimples, I actually think it made them grow? more if that makes sense, I put it on a pimple that was under the skin and it made it pop out more and get a whitehead. Am I using it wrong?
I got this after watching Jaclyn Hill on youtube (love her!), and also after some research of course. I have ok skin (oily though) but get the occasionally pimple now and then. Sometime's they're bigger and they usually pops out on my chin or cheeks. But now to the point. This actually works! I've tried a few spot treatments and this is by far the best I've tried. Do not expect that bumps completely disappear overnight (though it can happen if they're super small), but they definitely get reduced fast and go away quicker than if you don't use this. The only negative thing is the packaging. It's two solutions in a small glass bottle (do not shake). You take a q-tip and dip it all the way down into the pink thicker creme and the bottom of the bottle, and then apply on problem areas. It's a hassle. But all in all, this is almost magic.
I recently picked this and the Buffering Lotion up to deal with some horrific postpartum acne since I can't use any hard core topical creams like Differin or Epiduo. This stuff is AMAZING. I use it along with Cicaplast Epidermal Recovery Accelerator for the dryness afterwards... if you're even thinking about trying it out, it works amazingly well.
Yes, you sleep with it on.
Yes, it smells a little alcohol-y right after you put it on... but when you wake up in the morning with a small residual bump instead of a flaming red zit, you won't care.
This is amazing. Cleared up my pimples overnight and I have yet to find something that works as well
I hoped I would love this spot treatment, but I guess it doesn't really work for me that well.
I've used it for a month now, on my spots/breakout.
It is deffintly not a miracle product or anything like that. However it does have an effect, in making the spot go away quicker.
I also find this pretty unpractical. You have to always have a q-tip around, when youre using this, and of course it's something you can only wear overnight.
- I haven't regret buying it, but won't buy again.
This is a great acne product, period. I don't know what everyone expects honestly. Yes, it smells like alcohol, and you can only use it at night, Get Over It!! Once the pimple is formed there is little you can anyways. This helps significantly with swelling for cysts, and is especially useful drying a pimple that has come to a head (if you can resist touching it, I rarely can...). And yes, it is drying, hence the name! This is probably one of the best spot treatments for bedtime. The product does separate again if it is placed in a bag or shook up. Again, no reason to take off a lippy. This does exactly what it claims. I will say there is no difference between this and the Bye Bye Blemish which is half the price. It just depends on which one you can afford.
Generally have clear skin, but when I get a pimple it means serious business. A few days ago I started getting an "underground" pimple. I knew better than to mess with it or squeeze it so I let it be, hoping it would go away in its own. This thing started getting massive and bruising! I did some research and found out about this stuff called Bye Bye Blemish so I got to Ulta ASAP. When I got there they were sold out, but the sales lady showed me this. It was about twice as much as the other one I was looking for, but I was willing to spend just about anything to get the monstrosity on my face to go away. I put a fairly large dot on the spot and this morning it's practically gone! It's slightly red but easily covered with make up and it's practically even with the rest of my face instead of a massive lump. Seriously, this stuff is magic.
The only thing I can say that's kind of bad about it is the packaging. It's definitely going to be a pain to travel with considering you don't want the two mixing together and I'm pretty sure it's glass. But it's not worth taking away a star. The smell isn't as bad as everyone says. It smells like rubbing alcohol and it goes away as soon as it dries (which is like 30 seconds). I would suggest this to ANYONE! Definitely a must buy and plan on having this in my bathroom at all times!
I used this a few years ago and I really loved it. It did an amazing job at drying up any large zits that I had. It got rid of irritation, redness, and swelling overnight.
This product does have a learning curve. When I first got it, I thought that you shook it and applied to your face! Then I read the bottle (whoops!) and learned that you do not shake it, but dip a q-tip into the pink powder and then apply the powder to your face. I think that because I used this when I was young, I wasn't too sure how to use it. Plus, the bottle was glass. That's scary! I almost broke it once. For the price and the amount that you get, I would be careful.
I haven't used this in years, but I'm thinking of picking up another bottle. It worked really well!
