This is a product any girl should have if you want matte, non-shiny skin, and a done-up look. I apply this in my t-zone (forehead, down to my nose) and it mattifies my combo skin, making my skin look flawless without foundation. My shade is Classic Ivory, and it's a universal, pretty powder shade. The powder feels and looks nice on skin, and has ingredients to ensure comfort. It sits on my skin without appearing as a layer of product. It comes with an applicator so you won't need to buy one. It does have a strong smell but it becomes less noticeable over time and it reminds you that you have it on.
If you want to look good and haven't tried this yet, you should. This is another staple of mine. It is affordable.
When I was a young tween (probably younger than that) and first trying out makeup, this was the powder my Mom gave me to use along with the Clean foundation. I remember this having a strong smell and stinging my skin. Yikes. She swears by this stuff, though.

I love CG's Clean powders for sensitive skin and the original or normal skin one! My favorite was the former Clean Fragrance Free powder in the teal compact, and I preferred it to the new "Sensitive" version. I use this to set whatever makeup I'm wearing, and for touching up my oily t-zone throughout the day. This has a lovely matte finish, never gets cakey, has a nice portable compact with a mirror and puff, and won't break the bank. I LOVE the new shimmery packaging for this...too cute! This is translucent enough I can wear the lightest shade "Creamy Natural",even now when I'm self-tanned to an NC30! I love the "normal skin" version, because of it's Noxzema scent, but I know the ingredients of the Sensitive version are much better for my skin. Would repurchase!
I have been searching for the perfect powder that is light and matches my skin tone for awhile but then the other day when i was cleaning out my makeup draw i found the empty packaging of covergirls clean powder and i remembered how it worked great for blotting excess oil and it's not too heavy either and lasts all day im definatly going out later to buy this
I use this to set my makeup. I do not expect Any coverage from this what so ever i just use it to keep my face matte I use very little. I apply it around the creases of my nose my forehead and my chin. If you use to much it appears chalky I do not recommend using this on the entire face just in spots where you tend to get oily. I have to touch up in a few hours because I tend to look shiny. I hate the smell of this so much it smells like old lady perfume but most cover girl products do. It is cheap I got mine for $5 but I will not be buying this again because there is better powders out there for about the same price
Well I still haven't found my holy grail pressed powder to control my fair-medium combo oily skin! Anyways, I have this powder in the shade 545 warm beige, but it's in a blue packaging instead of the one in the picture. It's okay I guess, You just had to keep applying it but be really careful not to put too much because it does cake easily. It's not the best powder ever, but it's okay.
I got it in the shade Tan. The powder is nice for touch-ups but I dislike the scent. Maybe I am sensitive to smells but I hate the scent that covergirl uses on all of their face products. Please covergirl get rid of that horrid scent!
I've repurchased this many times. It is fantastic for setting/mattifying an oily t-zone. I love the herbal type smell, and it does not cake on my skin, nor clog my pores.
//edit: Just to note, though, that the mattifying effect doesn't last long - you do need to frequently reapply. Hassle! But I personally like repowdering every hour, as I have a slight obsession :/
Why on earth anyone would expect coverage out of this (it's not a foundation) is beyond me. I use it to set my Clean foundation and it works great. I happen to like the smell, but wished it had SPF.
