The Laneige Water Sleeping Pack used to be my HG skincare SOS for many years. Whenever my skin is starting to feel blotchy/uncomfortable from a late-night, I just put it on and I'm assured with a glowy and moisturized skin the next morning. However, it tends to be a little too oily for my oily skin even though I apply just a thin layer. I'm tired of waking up with oily (yet glowy and moisturized) skin.
Not very into the container packaging because I feel that it exposes too much of the product to air/germs when you open it. But it does come with a spatula, which is hygienic.
It's no longer my HG skincare SOS as Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate is now my absolute favourite. MRC works much better for my oily skin than the Laneige water sleeping pack and it seems to work from within, rather than just on the very top surface.
Overall, it is still a great SOS skincare product and I'll keep it around...just in case.

The Laneige Water Sleeping Pack is raved about for three reasons: it is good for all skin types, it hydrates and refreshes your skin (dewy), and it is packed with antioxidants to even out your skin tone.
I actually purchased this a couple of weeks ago to see if it does what it claims to do. The first night I tried this, I woke up with hydrated and bouncy skin. Nevertheless, it also brought out a couple of acne that were just under my skin. I heard this is what sleeping packs and masks usually do the first time you try it.
It's been three weeks now and I highly recommend this product. I used this several times last week, and it has really helped my skin, appearance wise and health wise. If you have trouble finding this product, try ebay, amazon, or sasa.

I LOVE this product. It's a great mask for lazy people like me because you apply it like a lotion and sleep with it on, so it's pretty low maintenance. It applies like a gel-cream, and feels so calming and soothing on my skin. It also absorbs pretty well, so you're not left with a sticky or slimy face while you're trying to sleep.
I was skeptical about this product because I have oily skin that's dehydrated, and I worried that it would be too hydrating and rich for my skin type. However, this product turned out to be the answer to my skin problems. It rehydrated my skin without making me more oily, and because my skin was perfectly hydrated overnight, it made me less oily during the daytime. Also, you wake up to refreshed, smooth skin... it's soft to the touch. I totally recommend this to people with my skin type: oily but dehydrated. It'll work wonders, all while you're sleeping. I will always repurchase this!!

Sleeping Mask?! I was curious too when I heard about it. Who wears a mask to bed? I thought it would be cumbersome but I actually really love this product. It's cooling to the touch and the texture is really soft and smooth. After doing your nighttime regime with washing your face, applying toner, cream, etc. I put on a thin layer of this before going to bed.
If you're worried about getting your pillow dirty, just sleep with a towel over the pillow. The product feels light and cool to the touch and it's very refreshing. The next morning your face will be sticky but once you wash it off and go through your morning routine, you'll notice that your skin is brighter and cleaner with a really nice complexion. I was really surprised at how this worked and I absolutely love it!
I've been looking into more of the Laneige products because they smell good, the packaging is great and the price is reasonable. I paid around $23USD for this and I thought that was fair for the amount you get and what it does to your skin.

first, i just hate this type of packaging, exposed to air, just sitting in a jar, dipping my fingers in. blech. i also didn't like the consistency at all, takes way too long to dry, extremely sticky on my face and just don't like the after effect once it dries either. didn't seem to help my skin at all. meh, waste of money for me, never finished the jar and sits around. do not recommend this stuff at all. try out the sulwhasoo overnight vitalizing mask. that stuff is awesome.
I actually ordered this on Amazon since it's not available in stores in America & I have the feeling it would cost more if I bought it in an actual store. My skin is normally oily even though it was actually kind of dried out when I ordered the mask. I saw it mentioned on a website and they said it was good for hydration but when I actually used it I noticed it was actually really good for breakouts too. It brings out the bad stuff that's under the surface so you can rid of breakouts faster. Like others mentioned, it's a bit sticky when you first put it on but I don't think it's that bad. When you wake up in the morning, your skin is soft and all the stickiness is gone. I do agree though that it should come out of a pump bottle, not a jar with a spatula included. You wouldn't have to worry about getting germs in what remains in the container. I'd love it if this was available in the States, preferably at an attainable price point. continued >>
The first time i used it, i fell in love with it. This is a HOLY GRAIL mask for me. Furthermore it is made to use during your sleep. there was a time where i worked 1 week straight and my skin became so dry and broke out as i was too tired and lazy to use my skincares after washing my face. So i was too lazy i skipped all my toners and moisturisers and straightaway use this mask alone and slept. The next day my skin was brought back to life. Haha! Awesome product!

Amazing product. A friend had taken advantage of a buy 2 at a lower price promotion at the duty free store, so I paid SGD$27 (about US$23?) for one. I put it on after my toner and night serum. At first it was a lot stickier than I imagined, and it took a while to dry (about 15 mins before I was really comfortable putting my head on my pillow) and even then it was a bit sticky. Didn't have a great sleep as I'm super sensitive about my sleep environment and the smallest changes upset my sleep, but when I woke up my skin was almost translucent, smooth and baby soft. For some reason my cheeks were pink too LOL. I have been suffering from millea seeds on my face since teenage years, but I felt that they were significantly reduced just from one night using this mask. I also have some redness around my nose area, which had lightened a lot after one use. I truly believe this cures redness and super hydrates your skin, giving it a lovely boost. Throws all the other masks I have ever used out of the water.

Awesome product.
Pros: smells good, a little goes a long way, smooths skins after just 1 use, using it 1 a week is enough, calms rosacea
Cons: a little itch for the first few minutes
I first tried this when i got a sample but after just one use I had to get the full size.
I really wanna try the berry version too but I'm gonna wait to finish this jar first.
I recommend it to anybody that needs results over night!
I bought this in Korea so the price was reasonable.
Mad love this product! Whenever I have tiny pimples, breakout, spots on my face, I apply the sleeping mask before I sleep and everything will be gone! Tiny pimples will be gone, not the big and fat kind but big pimples do reduce in size after using this mask for a night.
LOVE IT, worth every single won!
