this is my HG moisturizer!! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this sunscreen and cannot tell you how long I have been looking for a oil-free, mattifying sunscreen. At first, its weird to get used to since its liquidy, but this allows it to absorb quickly into the skin - it may seem dewy at first but sets into a nice matte finish. I use to use the Shishedo Ultimate Perfection one but found that it broke out my skin (it's a thick cream that's not oil-free so I think it may have clogged my pores) but this one is my ultimate fav. It def allows makeup to look great on top & doesn't leave a whitecast at all! continued >>

I really like this product - it absorbs well and is not greasy. I purchased it primarily for the SPF 30, which seems to be relatively rare. The one problem I have with it is that it seems to flake off, or rather, when I put foundation/powder on, my skin sometimes flakes off. I do exfoliate and this doesn't happen with all lotions....does anyone else have this problem??? Otherwise, I am very pleased with it.

I HAVE FOUND IT!
sorry for the shouting but this is my HG day cream the only cream I've found so far that smells subtle absorbs well and isn't at all oily, I can put my makeup on over it like nothings even there. I have somewhat oily skin and I don't need anymore help in the oil content of my day creams thank you very much, but the great thing is I get the UV protection benifits without the oil because protecting my skin while I'm still young is the portal for having great looking skin in your older years and this cream is my ticket to it!

Great product, looked all over for a non-greasy sunscreen moisturiser which I can cheerfully slather on and not use up in 2 months...still lookin! Good points: absorbs easily, smells ok, no reactions, doesnt make foundation ball up, salesgirls always happy to give samples. Bad points: need to hang bottle upside down like a cheapskate to get last drops out, around £25 per 100ml bt its not cheap!

I've used this moisturizer on and off for several years. It's not particularly outstanding, but it does the job of moisturizing and providing the much needed SPF protection. I actually like the texture of it. It's not too heavy, not too light, and it absorbs quite easily into the skin. This is good for normal to combination skin types - I have combination skin, and this didn't seem to irritate or cause breakouts. Overall, it's a nice quality daytime moisturizer, but it's hard to justify spending so much for such a basic product.

Somehow it even makes my dry skin oily (well-done, Lancome). Leaves this shine on my face, all four seasons. I can only assume that the real, secret value of this product lies in the "Total UV" part. So I use it over my other moisturizer in winter for the UV protection and ignore extra shine. No, in fact I intentionally keep it because I suspect that this product intends to create a shiny surface on consumers that reflects UV rays, thus providing sun protection. A blessing in disguise!

Good basic skincare with UV. Doesn't cause me breakouts, my skin does get oily during the day wearing this, but it does not cause me breakout and clogged pores.

I think this moisturizer is horrible. I have very dry skin and usually like heavy moisturizers but this one had a nasty texture, it felt not only too greasy but actually sticky on my skin, and the more i rubbed it in the flakier it actually got. The smell is too much, it irritated my sensitive skin, and it's too expensive. I used the version in the tub and I am not happy with it at all, I am going to return it ASAP. Very disappointing.

For a moisturizer this is a tad expensive. It is a really good one though. I have used it everyday now for the past month and it is truly moisturizing and soaks into my skin nicely. I do not find that it makes me oily either and I have T-zone oilyness. Very nice under my fndtn, with added SPF, too!

This was my can't-do-without product - but I've moved on and have to say that for my skin type there are better alternatives! I have mature (in my late 40s) oily skin and this moisturiser is absorbed well but is too runny in texture for my liking. I now prefer a cream/ointment consistency. I also think that if you're prone to breakouts you're not doing yourself any favours using this. It gives perfectly adequate and stable sun protection if you spend the majority of your day indoors, with a sun protection factor of 15. When using Bienfait I used two pumps daily, so it lasted a few months, but I didn't like not being able to get the product out of the container easily once it had run low. All products, let alone expensive ones, should be packaged in no-waste containers - grrrr. This is worth a try if you're hunting for a sunscreen but the chances are you'll find something less expensive that's equally as good if not better.

Review of Tinted Version: I used a prior version of this (in a flat tube) for years when I was younger and had much oilier skin, but then it was discontinued. Now that it's back and my skin is drier, I still like it. For me, it's main advantage is that it comes in a color ("clair") that works well with my cool pinkish skin. Most companies seem to think that everyone who buys a tinted moisturizer wants to look some shade of "tan," but I don't.
I did a side (of the face) by side comparison of this with a fairly sheer well-color-matched foundation (L'Oreal True Match in C4). The Bienfait did just as well at smoothing my skin tone and reducing the redness on my nose, but unlike the L'Oreal, it didn't sit in my pores or give me that awful "made-up" look. I took off one lippie because of the high price, but if price is no object for you (and especially if you have pinky-beige skin), this might be worth a try.

Sadly Bienfait didn't work for me. It was much too fragranced, made my face even oilier and then broke me out with cystic acne. I returned it immediately. There are far better and safer moisturizers with SPF protection than this.

This has been my staple sunscreen for the past 3 years. Incredible texture. Sinks right into the skin.

This moisturizer works great for me! I have had trouble finding a sunscreen moisturizer for oily skin that wouldn't feel greasy. After I tried some of this at the Lancome counter, it sank right into my skin and made it feel so soft but not greasy, I knew I had to buy it. I was in shock when she told me it was $38--but it's still working great. It doesn't interfere with my foundation at all, and the pump is well designed so that I only use a tiny amount every day.

I had begun my fascination with skincare at a young age, and when I decided I needed a moisturizer, my parents were only too happy to provide me with the means to buy one for myself. Had I been more experienced, I would have known that Lancome's skincare products tend to favor more mature skin, but unfortunately, I had no idea back then. Lancome was considered a good skincare line, and I thought I deserved only the best.
Well, the lotion in itself is more than satisfactory. It has a milky consistency that is extremely moisturizing. In fact, for me, it was a bit too moisturizing. For such young skin, it left my normal skin quite greasy by the end of the day. Thus, once I finished two bottles of it, I left it in search for the PERFECT moisturizer.

I like this product...especially the tinted version which I use in tawny.
Nice light moisturizer with UV protection.
The tint allows me to get away with no heavy foundation in the daytime.
I use this after showering, add a little blush. liner, mascara and lips and I'm ready for a casual day.

I just don't know why... everytime I use Lancome products.. my skin breaks out. It works for a day or two, and I break out right after.. Perhaps it's the perfume that's causing this. I swear.. as much as I wish I could benefit from Lancome,it's just not for people with the slightest symtom of sensitive skin!!

This is my everyday, pre-makeup moisturiser. Unfortunately, it's pricey, otherwise it'd probably be the only moisturiser I'd ever use. Packaging is good (pump dispenser). The moisturiser absorbs pretty quickly, and it's fairly light feeling on my skin (I'm quite oily so that's a big plus). Thumbs up. Love the added SPF too.

I used this fir the first time yesterday and was very impressed. Not only did it make my skin really soft but it is an excellent base for makeup. I will see how I go with it because it's heavy scent hasn't yet irritated my skin but it may do after a little time. I think that the packaging is ok but as it's in a pot I feel that this is maybe a little unhygenic. Despite this I think I will repurchase.

Great product, I have combination skin and this works very well for me. I love the fact that it has spf, and the tint is great. I have forever ditched my chanel foundation for this tinted moisturizer. Also, the pump dispenser is very handy and keeps things clean. Furthermore, I think my skin has actually improved since using this product. (I have relatively clear skin anyway) This product may be too light for someone with poor skin to use since the covor is quite light.
