Sometimes witch hazel is known to treat acne. So when I saw this for so cheap about 3 ish $, I had to get it and try it out.
I'm almost done with the squeeze tube and so far...

It doesn't irritate my skin it's fairly gentle but other than that I haven't really seen any sort of great difference. It takes off my makeup fairly well, but I really haven't had any problems in the past with my other cleansers taking off my makeup. There isn't no wow factor in this cleanser, my skin isn't brighter or clearer, it doesn't treat my acne nor make it worse... Ehh this is an ok cleanser, nothing too special. I'll probably switch back to my old cleanser cause I feel that really helped clear my skin.

I wouldn't mind buying it again only because you get a lot of product for your buck and it works as I mentioned fairly well.

But I would sway this more in the direction for those with normal skin, you know if your skin doesn't need special treatment, in other words if you don't have acne and just want to take off your makeup then this a good product for you.

Beware if youre skin isnt oily. i used this a few times back in high school. i just bought it without knowing the difference between oily and dry skin. It made me feel tight and stripped soon after rinsing off. Might be great for those with oily skin, but for my normal-ish dry skin no way, will not repurchase

I bought it to take to South India where it's hot and humid and worst of all , too much air pollution. We need a deep cleanser twice a day over there.
This face wash did all of it's job ( like getting rid of dirt particles ,keeping the shine in control )PERFECTLY over there..I used it every single day ... and Fortunately i didn't get much break outs like i used to while i was there , bcoz of this ' magic ' face wash ???
But I don't find much use of it here in the Midwest Of U.S because it dries out my face more than it's benefits .. May be when i travel where it's hot and humid or pollution , I'll use this ...
I just use the Olay Gentle foaming face wash everyday and either Biore or St.Ives when i need to exfoliate...

This has NOT been discontinued - it was off the shelves a month or so and is back in new packing. At my grocery stores and WalMart.

I found out about this stuff about a month ago and it is incredible removing makeup. It was super cheap on Amazon using Subscribe and Save.The only bad thing is Amazon informed me it is being discontinued and I won't be getting a shipment of it because of it. I have 3 tubes and hopefully they'll last a long time like other reviewers say they do. Then I'll be on the hunt for another effective cleanser.

This cleanser is very basic. It has a light fragrance, creamy texture, and rinses away clean, without leaving residue. The price is great at about $5 and it is readily available at any drug or grocery store. It can be a bit drying if used morning and night, but if you moisturize properly, that wouldn't be an issue. The only reason I wouldn't repurchase is because I have found other cleansers that work better for me.

I love this cleanser! It doesn't make me break out at all. I currently have some pimples on my face and it does not make them worse. I usually wash my face twice in one time as to make sure my face is really clean and even if I use it that many times a day, it doesn't irritate my skin. Will definitely stick to this cleanser.

I am on my third bottle of this, this cleanser is great, it cleans so well, takes of my makeup, skin oil/dirt completely. Just a nice, simple cleanser. This has a mild smell, not too bad, it's also really cheap, $5 max. I definitely recommend.

I bought this a few days ago and already enjoy it. I love the fact that this has witch hazel in it and I don't need to use a toner after cleansing. It does everything it says and easily takes off all of my makeup. And it's perfect for my combination skin. My face is actually slightly smoother also, something I wasn't expecting.The only thing I didn't like about this is that it's thicker than what i'm used to and you really have to squeeze the bottle to get anything out. But I will be purchasing this again.

I've been using this for quite a while and it is a great cleanser that did not overdry my skin at all! It serves it's purpose to remove makeup (at least most of it but not eye makeup), oil and dirt.

I really love this face wash. I have been trying other ones out since I have repeatedly bought this product. However, I really think this Olay face wash is very nice for my sensitive/ acne prone skin. It leaves my face feeling smooth and clean without over drying it. I recommend this to anyone of all ages. My parents also swear by this face wash.

this is another thing that i have brought in the past week and is doing its job well with the witch hazel being in the product i eliminated the witch hazel toner out of my regime . this completely takes off my make up and my skin feels clean especially after commin from the gym . this is a product i will be buying again this seems to be the only thing that is working with my face. great for sensitive combonation and oily skin , my skin still gets a bit oily but not as much though

So far I am liking this! It reminds me a lot of Clinique Rinse-off cleanser. The texture is very similar. This product does a fantastic job of removing my makeup and deep cleaning without drying out my skin. I notice that my skin looks cleaner and my pores are looking smaller. For the price, I have to say that this is a wonderful product. I will definitely reconsider repurchasing this.

I started using this a few weeks after I began using the Clarisonic, but I've also used it for a few consecutive days on its own. A little goes a long way (with the brush and with just my fingers). It lathers well, rinses clean, has a pleasant but not overpowering scent. I have oily skin, and this helps a little without making it feel too dry. (I don't get the super tight feeling after I cleanse that sometimes comes with oil-control cleansers). I've noticed that both with and without the brush, the cotton ball I use with toner comes away looking significantly cleaner than it has with previous cleansers, so I only add toner when I'm having a problem with breaking out (since the cleanser itself has toning ingredients in it). The tube I purchased is very large and, as I said, a little goes a long way. By the time I finish up, I may be simply bored and ready to try something else (I'm horrible about that! lol), but I may come back to this one.

I used this face wash for years until I changed my routine. This does not overly dry my skin and gets it very clean. It does a good job of removing makeup as well.

Olay kind of disappointed me with this product, mainly because it doesn't actually do what it claims to do which was the number one reason I bought it in the first place and that is: cleans combo/oily skin WITHOUT OVERDRYING. this winter I've gotten really bad dry patches especially on my temples and around my mouth, and this just makes it worse. my skin feels so tight like it's about to crack afterwards and white flakes everywhere. I've heard such good things about witch hazel too so I was really excited, but it does absolutely nothing for me. not in this form at least. but I will say that this cleanser is very gentle and does make my skin feel clean. maybe it'll work better for me in the warmer months when my skin goes back to normal.

I really needed a facial cleanser to clean off my make up and I saw this on sale at Shopper's Drug Mart for $6.77 so I bought it. I think it's a pretty good deal for 207 ml of product and I feel it will last me a while. I like that this gentle on my skin and doesn't burn or give me any of those tingly sensations. It's just normal face wash. It really cleans off all the make up but it's not deep cleaning, so my pores are still kind of clogged after I wash my face, but that's probably because I need to do a mask. It doesn't dry out my skin and it actually feels moisturized and smooth. It didn't break me out either which is a plus. Overall, good job Olay, you've managed to mildly satisfy a customer who otherwise wouldn't have bought your product had it not have been on sale.

I like this product a lot. It foams really nice. It has the witch hazel for further cleansing and toning. Doesn't strip my skin. The consistency is very creamy and has a nice rich lather.
I will repurchase again. I happen to like most of Olay cleansers not bad at all. I like them because majority are all very mild. Which is very important for me. Don't want to irritate my face with a cleanser that will strip it and is too harsh.

Good face wash for oily skin. Nice lather and feels good on the skin. This removes all my makeup but doesn't strip my skin. Big size. Will buy again.

My mom loves Olay and tends to swear by it so I decided to give this one a try, in place of my Neutrogena and Clean/Clear and everything else (I'm in search of an HG cleanser!). I do not like this product at all. At first I liked it. It worked good at cleansing (so I thought) and my skin felt nice and fresh. Oh and the packaging is nice - typical for a facewash but still nice, I mean I do prefer a pump but this worked well, it was easy to get product out, and it stayed clean easily. However, after a while, I saw major problems. First, it didn't take off makeup. Rather, it did, but not well. If I wore makeup, this would foam up brown because it was taking off the makeup, and then I would have to use it again to take of the remaining makeup and whatever oil remained. I didn't wear foundation every day so its not a major problem, but it's a definite annoyance. But then, after a while, it dried out my skin! I have never had a problem with dry skin, the only flakes on my face come from bad mascara!! Therefore, this made me completely upset :( My cheeks were dried out and peeling, and nothing I did fixed it. I'm not even sure what caused it because I'm okay with witch hazel, I've used other products with it and never had a problem. I ended up just "accidently" leaving it at my boyfriend's place, and I'm pretty sure he'll use it up LOL. I'm not using any more Olay stuff for a while, and definitely not repurchasing this one.
