Soooo pretty!! A rose-gold-champagne.... I like this worn over Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded. I can see why the Kitten franchise has such a cult following. I like this paired with Kitten l/g, it's a lot of shimmer but it looks nice. I disagree that this e/s is easily duped; there are lots of champagnes out there but the faint rosy pink tint makes it unique & special! This is one of my all time fave e/s & I have already purchased a back up.
So pretty, I use this eyeshadow frequently and I always get compliments, only con I have is the packaging... if you even THINK about letting this drop a centimeter it will shatter.
I went into the store looking for a Cargo eyeshadow I'd broken and walked out with this one instead, after a recommendation from the saleslady. Since then, I've worn it every single day and am in love with it. I prefer easy eyeshadow looks with only one or two shades, and I pair them with a winged cat eye. This shadow is shimmery without being glittery, it's very pigmented, the texture is buttery, and it stays put all day without any creasing! Be careful of fallout, though, as a brush tends to pick up a lot of colour! Other than that, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for an easy eye look for everyday!
This colour is so pretty in the pan! I thought it would be amazing, but to my disappointment, it ended up looking really chalky on me and just did not look good. I tried twice but it was horrible. Staying power and pigmentation will win some points from me, though.
I was really drawn in by this shadow. I'm not a big shadow girl, but this seemed good to add a little light to my eyes. However, I think I wouldn't spend the money on it (I got it with my Boots points). It's good and I use it everyday, but holy crap is it shimmery AND SO PIGMENTED. I only use the slightest amount and put it on the middle of my lid to add some highlight, but I find that it's way too obvious to use in the inner corner or brow bone. Use it sparingly otherwise it will overpower the whole eye, I even think that it somehow takes the attention off your eyes if you use too much, it almost does the opposite of opening your eyes up (which was why I got it in the first place).
I find it works well if you use the tiniest amount on the middle of your lid and use a taupe or bronze semi-matte colour in the crease...
Essentially: good eyeshadow, but wouldn't buy again. I think somehting more subtle would be better.
This eyeshadow is perfect. The loveliest pinky-champagne color. Pigmentation is insane, just one swipe of my brush and get a lot of color. I apply this to my inner corners, brow bone, then apply winged-liner and I'm all set. Simple yet I feel glamorous and like I did more than I actually did. I also adore the name and the packaging (the black packaging).
Can we just talk about how amazing this eyeshadow is? I have been eyeing it and putting it on every time I go to Sephora but I just couldn't bring myself to spend the $$ (I paid $20.. That's a lot for a single eye shadow) but it is soooo worth it! It's a gorgeous shimmery pinky champagne that looks amazing as an inner corner highlight and eyebrow highlight. I even put it on my cheekbones and it looks fab. If you're going back and forth about buying this, take the plunge and do it. It is very buttery and soft so I am a little worried about traveling with it.
This color is beautiful as a high lite or an all over lid shade! I think this color because it's more of a champagne color not so stark white that all skin tones could pull it off. One thing I enjoy about stila eye shadows is how easy and creamy and blend-able they are! A+++
Beautiful color. I use it on my lids and it's wonderful. I don't find it to be glittery but it is shimmery. The problem is it's very fragile. Definitely can't travel with it. It took two tries to get one shipped intact.
I'm on the fence about this eyeshadow. I kept hearing amazing reviews about this product and so I finally caved in. I found this eyeshadow to be too soft and it made it look like a threw glitter all over my face after wearing this for a few hours (even when I use an eyeshadow primer). It looks like the eyeshadow is going to crumble every time I open the case.
I really want to like this product because it wasnt cheap. I may have to watch a few more YouTube videos about how to apply this on.
