I've been using Aloette products for awhile now, and I love this stuff. It keeps my oily skin matte, even before I started using primer. It's so gentle on my skin and I love that it keeps my face moisturized, but not oily, all day! Thank you Christie Cohen!

First, all Aloette's skin care contain Aloe juice, not water. Aloe juice is 97% water, haha. This is just a run of the mill day cream/sunscreen SPF 15, nothing special. It just come with a bunch of other stuff from the Shopping Channel as a kit. I dislike the orange smell, natural or otherwise, there is no room for fragrance in skin care. I have been using this product for 3 weeks now. I am acne-prone, 30-years old, with acne scarring. I have been hardly oily, skin looks brighter, acne scars are fading and NO breakouts!! Wow!

I have to agree with redhead619. This product does not stand out in any way for me. I used for several months and saw no improvements whatsoever in the appearance of my skin. Very average moisturizer imo.

IMO, this is a pretty standard moisturizer. It's just ok. The consistency is thick and it goes on rather heavy, however I've been using it for over a month and it has yet to break out my normal/combo skin, even as the weather has gotten warmer. I took off a couple lippies because of the packaging (I hate sticking my fingers into a jar!) and the price. I'm sure there are literally hundreds of moisturizers out there that do the same job for half the price. And do I even have to mention I'm not seeing any of the firming/anti-aging benefits that Christy Cohen ooh-s and ahh-s about on Shop at Home TV? I'll use up what's left but definitely won't repurchase.

Amazing stuff! Not only does it product from the harmful rays of UVA and UVB light, it also (and this is a nice little bonus) helps to keep makeup intact all day. I especially love the slight grapefuit citrus scent. I would not, however, recommend this product for very oily skin types. Can be bought on The Shopping Channel for less than retail. A must have!

The only DEFENSE I need is DEFENSE against buying this product. Just like other Aloette items I have tried, it broke me out, just awful. Yes, at first, life was dandy but after a few weeks, boom, the bumps erupted. Took me two months to recover with my complexion. And, the real slap in the face -- I purchased them from a consultant and NO refunds only credits and that is only for 6 weeks -- what type of legit/caring company does that? Well, I have tried Aloette products for the ONLY time in my life. I just feel so ripped off that I had to share my experiences.

I have oily, acne prone skin, and this is my favourite daytime moisturizer so far. It actually keeps my face matte ALL day, which is awsome for me because then I don't have to use powder. It helps to heal those old acne scars, which is a bonus too. The price is a little expensive, but if you buy it on the shopping channel, you can purchase it in a kit, and it's way cheaper that way. Enjoy!
EDIT: Aloette raised their prices, actually tripled their prices and this is not worth the money now. Sigh, why do companies ruin a good thing?

I love this product, I started using it a week ago along with other aloette products and will defenitely buy this again. I didn't know about this product line until I saw it on Shop at home tv. I am so glad I read many good reviews about it here and decided to buy it.

I have been looking for a good moisterizer for a long time. So many leave my face feeling to greasy/oily. Especially in the muggy Georgia heat. I read the wonderful reviews about this and decided to give it a try, I was so excited when it finally arrived. I put some on immediately, and it did go on really nice. The next morning my face felt really soft and smooth, finally a moisterizer delivers! Well I have been using it now for 5 days and my face feels really soft, non-oily BUT...I broke out worse than I ever did as a teenager! I have never reacted this bad to a product before, I wish this worked for me..

I wanted to use this product for three months exclusively before writing a review. I absolutely love it, and I'm starting to really fall for all of the Aloette products in fact. Let me state up front that I do not work for the company. I've been a Sage user for quite some time. I'm 31 years old with a mild acne problem, oily/sensitive skin, rudiness and large pores. This day cream is my new HG. Its not too heavy nor does it leave me oily. I was tempted to knock a lippie off of the rating for the spf of 15, since I believe you should wear something much higher, but the fact that it doesn't break me out and seems to have evened out my skin tone just blew me away. I find it expensive unless you wait for the deals on the Shop at Home network- usually I can get two for the price of one or something comparable to that.
I want to add just a general comment about Aloette- the SAH presentations have been luring me in for years but it wasn't until recently that I bit the bullet. I found that most of the products have acne-aggravating ingredients in them (like algae extract) and after using Sage and learning to control my acne, I was hesitant to go against "the list". I haven't had any problems with breakouts whatsoever- in fact my skin has never been clearer. I'm sure its a mixture of products to some degree and not just this moisturizer. I see myself using these products for a long time to come!

I do like this product a lot. It's the best Moisturizer I have ever used. Definitely would repurchase if there isn't any better one out there in market.

I am a true Aloette girl. This line of skin care has allowed me to after wearing foundation for 15 yr., to finally not need to wear foundation. Now about this product. The Cellular Day Defense is a wonderful moistuizer that is rich enough to moisturise but sinks into the skin to make a gteat beginning for your makeup but not so rich that it is heavy on the face. my HG of Day cremes!!!!

Again, as an Aloette girl, this is a HG for me. As one of the last steps in my morning regimne, I am thrilled with the feel and texture that my shin has after using this product. After 2 weeks of using it i can see a big difference in the texture and smoothness of my skin. A definite keeper

Still the best moisturizer on the market. It's light enough for my very, very oily skin--one of the few things that won't break me out. It sinks in instantly, feels very soft on the skin. I don't know how well it lives up to it's claims of "cellular defense"...but as a regular moisturizer with a touch of sunscreen, this is a must. This might not be moisturizing enough in the coldest parts of the country during the winters, or for those with VERY dry skin. For the vast majority of this, this is a great year-old moisturizer

This is one of my HG products and I do not have many that I consider my HG products. I have used this for about a year and like all the Aloette products that I have used, I have been more than satisfied and would definitely purchase again.

Really love this cream. I was using Avon Luminosity Ultra but I decided to try this. I am so glad I did. This is a treatment with sunscreen face cream. My face felt more moisturized than with the Avon cream. I have finished one jar and am waiting for another. So far I am really happy with it. It isn't greasy and didn't break me out and I am a sensitive girl. Highly recommend!!

Moisturizer worked well.. but I much prefer the Principal Secret Advance Continuous Moisture w/Hydropheres.. very similar in smell and ingredients but much more moisture! Aloette is a great moisturizer if you're looking for something light, but personally, I didn't feel like my skin was hydrated enough, and I've been using it in the summer.. imagine what the winter'd be like!

I have never been able to use a moisturizer until this one. Sinks into the skin with it's aloe vera delivery system and leaves my skin feeling like a baby's bottom!

i love this product. the texture perfect. it goes on my face soo smoothly, and doesn't leave it feeling oily on my combination skin at all. the best part is, it has SPF in it, perfect for everyday use.
