MAC Tempting is a beautiful browny bronze. It is a lustre but applies well and looks fab on the lid or crease.
Unfortunately, I seem to be allergic to this eyeshadow and have had to take it out of rotation. I took a lippie off because of this.

Hands down my ALL TIME FAVE mac eyeshadow..
I own about 15 or so and this is my all time classic eyeshadow for a daytime smokey eye or a sexy bombshell night out look.
It makes my light brown eyes POP so much, I couldnt even imagine.
When I wore it once at mac, the SA told me how much this eyeshadow coplimented my eyecolour eventhough it was about the same colour.
Loveeeeee! This eyeshadow is PURE love..
I will deff buy this product again...its my "cant live without" eyeshadow!

Love this shadow, not a big fan of the amount of fall-out it produces on its own because of the glittery consistency, but used with pixie epoxy it solves that issue for me. It is a lovely color on its own for smoky eye as someone else mentioned here, but with the pixie epoxy under it makes it goldish on me & really pops even more. Adding it tiny bit to under my lower lash line makes it even sexier. Loving it & will repurchase/swap for again! continued >>

This is the color I have been searching for!! This makes my brown eyes pop and it makes a PERFECT bronze smokey eye. At first I thought I would hate the texture but it's not bad at all it blends really well. For a quick day smokey eye I just use tempting all over the lid, apply MAC smolder eye kohl (my favorite!!) and then smoke out the e/l with more tempting. I also do this on my lower lash line and then use Nylon or Gorgeous gold as a highlight. Apply mascara and you've got a perfect bronze smokey eye! Tempting has many dimensions so it actually looks like you spent a lot more time on your e/s than you did. I think this has become my favorite e/s because it's fool proof- I know I will look beautiful wearing it even if I have 5 mins to get ready.

This REALLY makes my blue eyes pop - my eyes look absolutely electric when I use this eyeshadow! In my opinion, if you have blue eyes you'll really love what this does for them! It's a medium (leaning more towards light than dark) bronze-leaning-towards-taupe color with subtle gold shimmer. It looks gorgeous and the shimmer isn't overpowering or over-the-top at all, it's quite subtle. I've never had any problem with fallout and it applies like velvet the way I use it. I usually cover my entire eyelid from lashes up to the brow with a light eyeshadow and then I put this (and any other eyeshadows I'm using) on top of the lighter shade. That way I find this applies perfectly and blends easily. I like to use this on my lids so that it's close to my eyes to really accentuate my eye color but it can also be used really effectively in the crease or just on it's own so it's extremely versatile. It really suits my skintone too (NC20). It's an exceptional neutral that goes with every other color I've put with it. I wouldn't want to be without this eyeshadow now that I've discovered it - it's an HG for me.

This is hands down my favorite shadow from MAC. I have came back countless times for this e/s. It is perfect to create a natural look or even a going out look. Will continue to purchase!

Such a beautiful warm-bronzey-sunkissed-smokey colour. apply on the crease or on the corner of my eyes to get this gorgeous lustre bronze sheen on my lid, looks so good with tan or even on my normal (MAC NC25) skin. so pigmented as well!

I ticked yes I would repurchase, but honestly i dont think I need to!
I have a tonne of eyeshadow, but I always end up coming back to this one. It's PERFECT on the outer corner of my eye!
It was a bit expensive, I think 33AUD, for one small colour, but you do get lots of product :)
Beautiful, bronze shimmer.

A very beautiful and unique shade! Tempting is an antique bronze with lots of golden shimmer and has a nice sheen finish. I find it perfect for everyday and it really makes my eyes pop and look great with little effort.
It's so pretty I like to wear it alone and just darken it up in the crease and outer corners, and use Dazzlelight as a highlight. Then add mascara and black eyeliner on top, and line the bottom lashes with Tempting.
The only problem is the shimmer tends to fall out onto my face, which is pretty annoying since primer doesn't seem to make it 'stick' completely.
Since this is neutral it should compliment most eye colors and skintones well, and it is definitely worth a try!

This is a staple color for me. I can use it with almost any color and I come out with a great eye combo. HG.

Soooo Tempting, not really that tempting for me it's in my "neutrals" palette but i never find myself reaching towards it. It's a beautiful colour looks very similar to Woodwinked which i also have in my palette, but it's just a darker more bronzer and a different texture to Woodwinked. <3 continued >>

Really pretty golden bronze. Kind of like a cross between woodwinked and mulch. A nice staple to use for a neutral smokey eye or just a wash of color on the lid!

I put off buying Tempting for the longest time because it's a Lustre finish and those can be so disappointing when applied, while looking gorgeous in the pan. I also thought it might be very close to the brown in the Illusionary/Burning Ambition duo. I finally broke down and got this the other day and all I can say is that it's not at all typical of most of MAC's Lustre shadows. It applies beautifully and the colour is as intense on the eyes as it is in the pan. It is a gorgeous rich bronzey brown shade (very different from Burning Ambition) and it is so pretty worn on its own or combined with other shadows. Works equally well as a lid colour (with something darker and matte smudge in the crease) or as a crease colour with just about anything you can think of on the lid. And it makes a very pretty, simple smokey eye that is wearable for daytime and appropriate for work. Really versatile colour and also quite striking because of the beautiful golden sheen. Works great with brown eyes and looks good even with my NW 20 skin tone.

This bronzy shadow has great color payoff however I just don't think it compliments my skin tine (nw15). Something about it just looks muddy/blah on me, I much prefer a color liks Satin Taupe.

One word to describe this, beautiful! Mac says it as a rich cocoa brown color in lustre finish. On my golden light peach skin it looks more of a night time glam neutral color if i layer too much because of the finish, although I can use it in the daytime if I keep the application light and subtle (less is more!). The color reminds me of something Hollywood Cleopatra would wear. Bejeweled, antiqued and very intriguing, I am very happy with the purchase, although I'd still get another more daytime neutral brown color with less luster. LOVE LOVE LOVE this color!

LOVE this colour! I'm really into bronze and gold looks so this is a must for me. Tempting is a light, shimmery bronzey gold colour. It's not your typical bronze colour because it is more on the lighter golden brown side than a rich deeper bronze but it's gorgeous all the same. You can use it as a medium tone in a dark bronze eye or as an all over wash for a neutral, day time pop of brown with some pretty shimmer. I really like wearing it all over my lid with a dark brown in my crease (I usually use bronze from MAC) and the two look beautiful together. It also works great with a real golden orange colour (like amber lights) as well for a real sunkissed look. Great staying power, and great payoff... like all the MAC shadows!

So after reading all the reviews on this shade I decided that I had to have it. I agree that it is a good shadow for a Lustre. I don't get any fallout and it's very well pigmented. I like this as a LIGHT wash. If I pack it on, it goes orange on me (NW20 for reference) which I don't like at all. However, a light wash gives the brown/bronze/gold color that everyone raves about. I don't think that I would purchase it again because I'm not blown away by it.

Tempting is another shade I find you can slap on all over your lid if you're in a hurry and it looks amazing. I'm a huge neutrals fan, and this is no exception. The browny gold color looks great for day time or night. I find that this is more pigmented and easier to wok with than some of my other luster eye shadows

I found this at the CCO in the style warriors packaging. After hearing all the raves, seeing the cute packaging, and 30% off retail, I had to get it. Once I took it home and put it on, I was underwhelmed. That's it? It just shows up as a matte brown on my lid. I was hoping for a brownish gold, but no its just brown. The only other lustre eyeshadow I own is Honey Lust. The texture is very hard to work with and lacks quality. But the texture of tempting is great! I returned this.
