To me Spark is similar to Myriade except that Myriade is a bitl lighter/more pink and this is more berry red, though on my lips, it's a bit hard to tell the difference. This one is probably a bit more intense/pigmented. If you have one I don't think you need the other, not enough of a discernible difference (my "excuse" is that I was half way through Spark and so thought I "needed" to try something slightly different :). Beautiful, though not sure if I would get this shade again/same reason stated in my review for Myriade (not sure if I love; cheaper alternative that have similar color and close enough in texture).

Spark is my first Chanel lipgloss. This is the least sticky lipgloss I have ever used, and the color is rich and beautiful. There is no "pretty" smell, which annoyed me only a little, but I realize that for some folks this will be a major selling feature. The wear wasn't amazing either, but Spark will be only a "special occasion" gloss for me.

I received a sample tube of this in an order recently after being conscious of this shade for a few years. The red scared me but it is a gorgeous looking shade and Chanel after all. Thrilled that I didn't have to invest in an entire full size tube to try it out. This shade is a nice just bitten red that's slightly sheer with gold shimmer and the gloss isn't too patent leather glossy but just right. I have two other glossimers, in Jaipur and Twinkle, and I'm always amazed at the longevity of them. Will be using the Spark happily along with the other two. The only flaw I noticed about this gloss is that a paraben ingredient is high on the list of ingredients. If you're not a fan of parabens then stay away.

Beautiful red with gold sparkle. No taste, no stickiness, a red for ladies who don't wish to do bold, vibrant, or OTT red. Spark is still one sexy red.

This is my first time using Spark. I usually wear Giggle in the Glossimer line. However, I wanted something a little more 'there' for the holidays. I love this! When I first saw it in the tube I was sure I wouldn't like it. It looked to berry colored and bright. However, when I put it on, it was lovely. On my lips, it is a deep berry color with just a little sparkle and normally I don't like sparkle but this one is very nice, it adds a little polish. It isn't sticky and stays on pretty good for a gloss. I will repurchase.

I cannot think that anyone can go wrong with this beautiful gem of a lipgloss. A very generous MUAer gave me a mini of this as a swap extra a few years ago and I was a little put off by its deep red appearance in the tube (I'm am very pale and very cool-toned) and (unbelievably!) it sat in my drawer for a couple of years. Brought it out in the midst of a purge and put it on and instantly fell in love. Now on my second full-sized tube and will always, always go back for more. Goes on as a lovely sheer red with a scintillating fine glinty gold shimmer that is absolutely perfect...not at all over-the-top; just a luminous, virtually universally flattering soft sexy red. And the texture is is singularly ideal which so many other brands fall short of achieving - never too sticky nor too slick. Well worth the exhorbitant price and I invariably feel a little sexier after slicking this baby on.

Being a poor college freshman, this was a major splurge for me. I hate how I love to spoil myself with high-end beauty and skincare products. My part time job doesn't earn me that much money! "Spark" is such a gorgeous golden flecked red in the tube. It goes on sheer enough to give me a little color and really brightens my whole face. It is NOT sticky whatsoever. It has a gel-like texture that is very comfortable on the lips. While I love my MAC lip glass, I hate how sticky they are. This was my first Chanel product and I can't wait to try more in the future.

In the tube this looks like a scarily dramatic, near metallic ruby with gold shimmer. On the lips however, it's the perfect jelly ruby red with just a hint of shimmer, which is honestly hardly noticeable on the lips. The formula is non sticky and the wear time is about average. I have a bunch of glossimers and this is probably one of the least shimmery ones. Would definitely buy again!

Spark is a gorgeus deep berry shade with some gold sparkles. Its a beautiful color that looks amazing on my fair cool skin. This is a beautiful fall/winter shade. Extremely glossy and looks very sophisticated, in my opinion this shade is more of a "nite" time shade, late night candle lit dinner type of a shade, but it can also be worn during the day. Top notch quality like with all Chanel's glosses and worth every buck, I always reach for Spark when I want to feel polished up, Spark just completes a timeless, sophisticated look.

i'd like to reiterate the sentiments of the previous reviewer: "This is as red as I get for lips".
while i have some crazy neon and intense lipsticks, i never reach for them. always go nude, often the more pale the better (i'm fair).
i never, ever would have bought this in the store. i do not like gold shimmer in lip products, and the shade has a brownish tinge. not "bad" just so not me. i ordered it on ebay after only seeing the stock product "swatch" and reading good reviews. i thought, why not? when it came i was a bit horrified, but now i really like this product.
on lips it is a very glossy, jelly-like pink-red. very juicy with glass like shine. very comfortable, non sticky.
other glossimers i have owned previously (from older collections) have been more pigmented with a thicker, more paint-like texture. i really enjoy the texture and finish of this formulation, and wear time is good too.

This is as red as I get for lips. I love it for times when I need something a little more dramatic (for me, lol) like date night with DH. This one has great pigmentation, and stays on fairly well for a gloss. I usually just put this over some kind of nudish lipstick, and I'm good to go.

This is such a great shade of rosy red/berry! Love that it has a nice amount of pigment and isn't too sheer. Perfect for the office and everyday wear.

Here is my favorite gloss! The color is again close enough to my natural lipcolor that it doesn't look overmade, however the gold flecks adds just enough pizazz that I can wear this into night! I love colors that look what I dub "natural glamourious". It pretties you up without it looking like you tried too hard or to the point that people would say you are wearing too much make-up. This color lights up the face nicely. The formula is great, smooth and non-sticky and you can not feel the glitter or flecks that are in this (I hate glitter glosses that feel gritty). Chanel really does so well with their colors and make-up to give a luxurious look and feel that I have found in no other!

I love this color. It is a shiny berry color. The applicator is nice and allows smooth application of the gloss. It has a slight shimmer that is nice but not overwhelming. This would look good on anyone with cool-toned skin, someone who wants a softer alternative to true red. Very pricey but good quality and great color.

Spark! I'm a berry addict, so this was my first Glossimer purchase, way back when. I have other colors, but this one is always in my purse.

I was late to the Glossimer wagon but very glad I gave them a try. Spark is a beautful pinky red. Just the right shade so as to not be too brown, too pink, too bright. Great slip it on shade. Love the slight shimmer and the pigmentation is just enough - so many times lipglosses are not pigmented enough. Glossimers stay on too and they aren't sticky!
Update - this has stood the test of time - the Glossimers seem to last longer while the Aqualumieres I purchased went bad before a year had passed. Also this shade really perks up my face without looking like Im wearing a lot of color on my lips. Lovely.

My husband got this for me as a little "beauty treat" as I never buy Chanel makeup. So this is my first foray into the much-feted Chanel Glossimers. It's certainly a nice-quality lipgloss and a very pretty shade of vivid berry with gold shimmer (although the shimmer is subtle and overall, I wouldn't call it a warm shade--if it were any cooler I couldn't get away with it). Not sticky, lasts well and fades evenly, fairly opaque coverage.

BUT, I could say the same of Revlon Super Lustrous l/g and Maybelline Color Sensational l/g and for Pete's sake, L.A. Colors Glossy Lips. The Glossimers packaging isn't even that special on Chanel l/g: standard square tube, with a double-c logo on the black cap. In short, there is nothing to justify the $30 price tag, IMO. It's not a bad lip gloss, it's just not a standout.

This is a truly gorgeous lip gloss that will look amazing over any shade of lipstick. Unfortunately, it's VERY pricy and you may be able to get a really similar shade in another brand of lip gloss for less money. If I had some extra cash and wanted to treat myself, I'd get it again though. It looks particularly great over Chanel's lipstick Sexy.

Deep berry stain with gold sparkles. Great for evening and in pictures. Makes my teeth look whiter. Glossimers offer the best nonsticky, glossy finish that can last past a drink or two. Pricey, but worth the money in my opinion.
