I do really detect a carroty smell in this lotion. But I always find myself buying these spicy type scents, but I don't really think they go well with my chemistry. I don't smell a lot of cinnamon like the lady in the last review, but I probably would not repurchase this scent. I think it would be nice in a tart though.

This lotion smells great, but it smells absolutely nothing like carrot cake. In fact, it smells like a very spicy cinnamon red hot to my nose. The dry down doesn't change the scent much at all, either. As for consistency, the lotion is great: creamy and thick but not heavy and definitely not runny or liquidy. It provides great moisture and the scent does last a long time. Only problem is it smells nothing like its name!
