I was introduced to this by my hairdresser...wow it made my hair so shiny, silky and straight!!! But it is harder to do by yourself cause it is huge!!! and bulky so you cant get so close to the roots easily and along the hairline. It was an upgrade from the hot tools one I had but now I use the Hair Art Ceramic flat iron which I love cause you can straighten or create curls with that

This review is about the CHI 2" flat iron (no category yet). It is AMAZING. I have wavy, thick, coarse Asian hair and had little success with the Conair iron ($20)--it kind of flattened but not completely and left my hair frizzy. After much research, I bought this iron. Expensive but absolutely worth the price. My slightly longer than shoulder length hair was stick straight in 5 minutes. Can't say enough good things about it. Oh, and I used Biosilk Silk Therapy as a protectant and it smells okay.
