I have oily, acne-prone skin and have been suffering from (hormonal) acne for the last couple of months. I switched from the Clarins Eclat du Jour skincare to Vichy Normaderm in hopes of getting rid of my acne. I used a very light Gel-Cream before switching to this moisturizer, and really had to get used to the consistency of this moisturizer. It is quite thick, but still refreshing, and sometimes stingy. For me, it takes a while to blend it out over my entire skin, as it is not a very thin moisturizer (which is what I usually use).
I think this definitely helped in diminishing my acne, and I think the ingredients are really effective for oily, acne-prone skin. It also feels hydrating, so it will actually prevent your skin from making more oil because it feels dehydrated.
I think every skincare product is a matter of trying out and seeing how it works for you, but I would definitely recommend this to everyone with mild acne problems and combination to oily or oily skin. The only problem I have with this is that it does NOT work well with my make up at all, it balls up and rolls up into tiny white balls/rolls/flakes, which makes it impossible for me to wear my sunscreen and make-up on top. Whenever I wear this moisturizer and touch my face, I immediately feel white balling/rolling which is not convenient at all for daytime, but okay for nighttime, so I actually use this as Night care in stead of Day care.
I bought it about 3 times. It's a great moisturizer, it's heavy but not oily. It make skin soft in the morning! If you use the vichy green cleanser, which leave skin a little tight this is perfect to use!
Broke me out. I have oily, sesitive, acne-prone skin. Gave it 2 lippies because my skin felt softer, really moisturised and stuff, didn't make me oilier and helped my make up aplly easier, but there's no way in hell I'll ever buy this again. It's expensive and I got little white heads as soon as I applied it, should have stopped, but I continued for weeks, almost a month and gave up because my skin looks terrible, acne all around and I usually manage an almost clear skin, with only a pimple hear and there. Oh, and it didn't help my pores look smaller. What a shame.
It is too moisturizing to use it under the makeup but it works well as a night moisturizer. It's non-comedogenic and I like the packaging.
I've used this moisturizer before, when I was a teen. I stopped using it then because I could never wear make up because the moisturizer would always peel and stuff.
I went back to it a couple of weeks ago because I've been trying to not use as much make up as I used to because it would always mess with my skin and cause new pimples. I've also been wanting to use a moisturizer more fitting for my oily and problematic skin, and the Vichy Normaderm moisturizer felt like a good choice really. Especially as I've been dying to find a product to lessen the big pores on my cheeks and forehead.
This moisturizer along with Mario Badescu's Healing powder is excellent. It gives me a matte skin, somewhat hides the redness from old pimples and it's still moisturizing enough while at the same time it helps to keep new pimples from forming. I haven't noticed a big change in my big pores yet, well slightly, but that could just be me imagining it. But I'll know for sure in a couple of weeks I think. All in all it's looking very promising...

I have combination skin with enlarged pores through my T-zone. I have used this for 6 months.
Pros
It does keep my skin matte on the Tzone
Its a good price
It doesn't smell horrendous
Cons
Its unremarkable and has not made much of an effect on my imperfections!
It doesn't sink in too well and look I have pores- it should sink in- laws of gravity and all
Pros - didnt break me out, smells nice
Cons - made pores look bigger, too oily for makeup to stay on

I got this to try out because I have problematic skin and haven't moved from it. It makes my skin matt and it's awesome for using it as a base for makeup. It's just really hard to find products that won't break me out and this is one of them. It's really expensive but worth it as it lasts forever. I'm using mine for about 7 months and still have a lot of it.
My sister has acne problems and this product was recommended to her by a dermatologist a while back. I've been staying in really hot (like 30 degrees C) and humid climates for about a month and this has really caused my skin to become oily and I've had many a break out. I've never had acne in my life until now. Anyway I noticed my sister's skin was not being affected by the unfamiliar climate- in fact her skin looked matte and dewy so I had to try what she was using. I had high expectations for this product and while I was not blown away, I've noticed a definite improvment in how my skin appears- it is not oily and shiny. I like the smell and texture. I've only been using the product for about two weeks and I can't say that it is preventing my acne- I'm still getting pimples but the scars appear to be getting lighter. I'm not blown away but it could have been worse- at least it is making my skin matte.
It didn't help me. It was being absorbed very easily into the skin but wasn't a good makeup base because after one hour my skin was shining again and the makeup was melting. I was still getting acne, and it did not help me at all. Pretty expensive too in my opinion.
I did not like the packing either because i had the feeling that a lot of cream was remaining inside at the end , as the small pump wasn't reaching till the bottom of the bottle.
