It works well as a sunblock and is water-resistant (hence the 3 rating by default). However, quite a few problems I've encountered.
This is chock full of silicones. I can feel it on my skin. It does clog pores so you have to be careful and thorough with removal. Contains alcohol and I feel it on my skin too. It does leave a sheen after applying, which I have to use loose powder at the minimum to cover. The bottle is cute and slimline with a small opening.
I've tried waiting between 10 minutes - 2 hours to let this sink in before applying the rest of my makeup. It does not work with any foundation (mineral/drugstore/counter/powder/cream/liquid) and seems to make them cake up very quickly after application. I'm not sure if it's the alcohol or silicone content in the sunscreen that makes it so. I do not have this problem with sunblocks containing less silicones or physical sunscreens.
This is a pity as the texture is very fluide but just doesn't work beyond being a sunscreen. Price is not the cheapest around too.

I have tried to like this product, but after using for a few weeks I'm just not getting on with it at all. It does protect against the sun and it hasn't broken me out, so in many ways this does do what it promises. However, it just seems to sit on my face and I look really shiny and greasy. Re applying it during the day feels horrible... layer upon layer of greasy cream. I've read other reviews saying to only use a little, and even then I still have a greasy feeling face. To be honest, I've yet to find a sunscreen for my skin type that doesn't. I just don't like the feel of a lot of product on face, so that's why I've given it a 3. I won't re-buy this ... I guess I'll just keep on looking,

I found this too greasy for my slightly oily skin, left way too much shine in the summer. Also the products seemed to leave little white blobs all over my skin, not attractive. May be better suited to dryer skins or those who don't layer it with other products like moistyriser and foundation (which may have caused the balling in my case?) Other than that it blends well and doesn't leave a white mask on my dark olive skin, so it's not all bad, just not right for me.

I tried this product because I'm a sunscreen junkie and try to use products containing Mexoryl for maximum protection. I love some La Roche Posay sunscreens and Ombrelle Milk. This one, however, didn't work for me. It has a thin consistency that went on nice and light and was easy to spread, but once it dried, it left a somewhat tacky residue. I felt like I had a layer of dried glue all over my skin. It seems to protect just fine, but I didn't like the feel and won't purchase it again.

My first tube of this is almost finished, so I am ready to write a review for this. I am quite pleased with this product. I put a very small amount of product and it is enough to cover my entire face and neck. Do not use copious amounts of this stuff because it will leave you greasy at first. Put just enough on your index finger and spread it evenly across your face. What I like about this is that it sinks in quite fast. I have been using this under my mu all throughout the winter and now that the summer is winding down, I was able to test it properly on whether or not it will make me tan when I'm outside - and it didn't! It didn't break me out, too. Great sunscreen.

This is the best sunscreen I've found for winter use. It is very light, doesn't ball up, isn't sticky and makes a great base for make-up, all of which surprised me. The PPD is only 10 so I would not wear this if I was spending a lot of time outside or in the summer but it's perfect for everything else.

The ingredients have changed but I like this sunscreen because I know it's protecting my face against aging and sundamage. For this reason alone it deserves 5 stars. It's also not super greasy and doesn't break me out. Feels like a moisturizer.

Way back when 2 years ago, this was my staple sunscreeen then someone made a comment that i looked a little white so I went on a search for something better.
LRP dermopediatrics spray spf40 was until it was discontinued my favorite. I've tried many sunscreens, none of which quite lives up to my expectations, a sunscreen must be non greasy and nonshiny if i'm going to wear and reapply.
SO anyway, i still had a bottle in my cabinet, for some random reason decided to give it a go again , and omg, I can't believe how good i had it compared to what i have been using as of late. It has the nicest finish of any sunscreens i've ever tried, my skin feels better with it on that it does naked. The whitecast, that put me off initially was nowhere near as bad as I had remembered. Non shiny and super light.
I'm pretty pale but still, the slight white cast is very minimal relatively speaking. I'm going to start using this for face and neck just for an even consistency nonetheless.
5/5 A++++
Note though, this sunscreen is not meant for the area near the eyes whatsoever, it keeps my eyes watering all day, so i just lrp spot stick 60spf around my eyes

For a while, I was having lots of trouble finding a La Roche-Posay sunscreen that I could wear on the arms. You know that horribly uncomfortable, gluey feeling you get in the crook of your arm when it's bent because of sticky sunscreen, or the difficulty you might have in putting on a long-sleeved shirt (particularly cotton)? You don't get either with the Anthelios "S" SPF 30.
For whatever reason, when I tried it on my face, I saw that this sunscreen leaves a white cast there ... however, no white cast to speak of on the arms - even though I apply a ton of it. ?? Regardless, I love it and buy it bottles at a time from Canada. For the reasons specified above, I highly recommend it as a body sunscreen.
Worth noting: Unlike European Anthélios sunscreens which contain both Mexoryl SX and Mexoryl XL, Canadian Anthélios SPF lacks Mexoryl SX. (The U.S. La Roche-Posay Anthélios released fall 2006 lacks not only Mexoryl XL, but also titanium dioxide, and is only SPF 15.)

Out of this, Anthelios Lait spf 45 and Anthelios "L" Total Block for Sun Reactive Skin spf 60 this one appears the lightest and absorbs the fastest. I'm basing this on 3 testers that I recieved from my Pharmacy. I compared them and this is what I've found. Essentially the higher the SPF the thicker and less quickly absorbed. The lait is actually thicker in the tube than the others which I found quite surprising. I have yet to test the fluide extreme as I live in Canada and don't think we have it yet.

It's a good sunblock but after trying for several weeks, I'm looking at other ones to try. This is a milk sunscreen. Very mild scent and it does not leave a white cast. It's a matte finish (great) and it does not feel heavy. My concerns come from the small bumps I receive on my forehead if I have this on for a long period of time... not a great sign. These appeared after 4 days of continual use. Perhaps I'm overly sensitive *shrug* Before I forget, the price for this is a steal. You do get a fair bit for the price and it's much better than most high ones I've tried in the past. It's just not my HG that I'm looking for.

I have been using this sunscreen for over a month and so far it's the best I have tried. It offers a good UV protection. I tried SPF 60 and it was too sticky on my face. So I stayed with this one. After applying I look like a ghost but it sinks in fast and doesn't feel sticky at all. The only problem I run into is when I reapply it every few hours - then I look whitish all the time.
I gave it 4 because I believe that there is even better sunscreen which contains antioxidants and gives this kind of feel.

Too bad this has fragrance in it because it it was not too greasy for me and protected well from the sun. I have rosacea and it ended up irritating my skin. When I first put it in on it felt heavy and I thought it would be greasy, but it sunk in after a few minutes. I tried the spf 60 and that one was heavier and didn't sink in as well.
