I was sadly disappointed by this cream and the serum in the same line. I bought a trial set after being assured by the SA that this would work for my very sensitive/reactive skin. She told me she had never heard of anyone having a reaction to it. Both felt lovely and moisturizing, but not overly greasy, going on. However, within a couple of days I had small red bumps on my face, I stopped using the serum, because I suspected it had a lot of silicones in it, which don't work well with my skin. After a couple more days of just using the cream I developed red, itchy, dry areas as well. I don't think the ingredients in the products were listed anywhere on the packaging, and I was unable to find them online, but I suspect I was reacting to some sort of botanical(s) in the products. I did try again on one or two occasions but the reactions were the same. I'm just glad I didn't buy the full sizes, the trial set was expensive enough. I really should have returned them, but never got around to it. No more La Prairie for me, if this is the best they can do for sensitive skin.
I love this cream and yes i will buy it again because it does what it says. It helped with the redness on my cheeks, does not break me out and it moisturizes without feeling greasy. I have used it all summer long under makeup with no problems.
I have a love hate relationship with La Prairie. Sometimes we fight, and sometime we "fill in the blank" do other things. This one can stay. Wow I love love love love love it. I have a friend who works for LP and she was kind enough to give me a luxury size sample of this cream. I kinda thought she was retarded because it is thick and pasty white. That is acne and darkspot heaven for my skin. First I get the comedone, and then the hideous darkspot. I am very impulsive though so I layered this stuff on like it was pure salvation. So what happened? I ended up totally wanting to bathe in this stuff like Demi Moore did in Indecent Proposal with all that money. This is money ladies. It aint cheap, and it pains Mama to shell it out. It makes my very reactive skin act normal, and no pimples. It is healing like crazy! I notice it really perfects my skin amazingly. I hate Skin Caviar, and Cellular Radiance. They are so not my cup of tea. This I figured was no better, but it totally kicks butt. My skin is so smooth and it doesn't pitch a total bf anymore. I have used so many lines believe me, and I reccomend anyone to use it. I dont care if it doesnt absorb, MY SKIN looks great. I use it only at night anyway, and I notice since I have used it sunscreen doesn't cause my skin to complain as it once did. No red, no pimples, and pure looking. Luckily, my boyfriend thought he had done something really terrible "it wasn't that bad" so he was like "aww you need something special" I was like OH YEAH! YOU MESSED UP BIG TIME! So, he would be like "well what would make you happy?" La Prairie! He bought it online in minutes so luckily I didn't have to pay up this time. Praise the Lord! Lets just pray he does it again in 2 months when I need to replenish.
I got the deluxe sample of 7 ml of this one. From its ingredients, it contains some plant extracts/ essential oils that may irritate skin so I don't think it's 100% suitable for sensitive skin as claimed. I experienced no irritation though. The cream is hard to absorb. It stays and coats your skin more than be absorbed to your skin. That's the point I don't like about this cream.

i have sensitive combi-oily skin prone to dehydration and acne, and i've been using this every other night for about 4 months in conjunction with the de-sensitising serum. this hasn't irritated my skin. i use a little bit each time, but it keeps my skin moisturised without breakouts/clogged pores. hasn't done anything for the redness on my cheeks/nose area though, but nothing else i've tried has either.

I love this cream. I have oily/combo skin and in spite of this product being heavily moisturizing, I do not break out from it. I just get super soft, supple, plumped and radiant skin. When I do have redness this clears it up overnight. Excellent!
I tried this cream and I must say it lives up to it's claims. La Prairie tend to throw a TON of ingredients into their formulations and I was expecting something in it to bother my skin. I am happy to report no problems whatsoever. If you have the means and want an excellent cream for sensitive skin, this is it!
Great product. I don't know how people decide that something "breaks them out". Oh sure, many trashy products will break you out, but even if you used the best "creme" in the world and ate junk food at the same time plus lots of chocolate, you'll still break out. Anyway, I have the most sensitive skin (not due to diet) and almost everything irritates it, but NO La Prairie product ever has given me any irritation whatsoever. Only pure, glowing skin.

I probably have the WORST skin in the world! I have had eczema for about 4 years, which means my skin is extremely dry, flaky, red, itchy and irritated during the winter months. It isn't as bad during the summer, but still drier than normal. On top of that, I also am cursed with over-active skin, so I get terrible break-outs all the time. Finding a moisturizer that will just soothe my skin was no easy task! All the doctors, dermatologists, and estheticians, were no help. The medications and antibiotics, and dermatologist recommended skincare brands brought no relief. I was honestly going to give up on my skin, until I heard about La Prairie. After some thorough researching I decided to spend the money and give it a try. BOY, am I ever glad I did! I have not had relief and skin this smooth, soft and under control ever since my eczema began! I warn you that it's quite heavy, but it works very well with my skin since it's so dry. My skin is calmed, the breakouts have stopped, even those little white heads (milia) have disappeared! My skin is less red and supple. If you have eczema/sensitive skin like me, I strongly recommend you to try this moisturizer! It is my small bottle of heaven for much needed relief from irritated skin! I will most definitely repurchase this product!

Just got a jar of this from a family member from France & I luv it! My aunt bought it for herself & decided she didn't want it anymore. I was lucky enough to be able to try it out, cuz it is super pricey! The Nurturing Cream was designed for ultra sensitive skin & is to be used day or night, when needed. The ingredient list on the back of the box is literally full of nothing but, natural ingredients. The consistency of the lotion is thin & white & feels very gentle on the skin. I have been using it under my La Prairie Caviar foundation now for 1 week & like it. I don't have sensitive skin at all, so I don't know if its really helps w/ that. However, it does make your skin baby soft & feels nice on the skin. I'm glad I got an opportunity to try this cuz my Aunt in France bought it at over $150 for the jar & decided she didn't want it anymore, lol. continued >>
