I like this mascara...I feel like I really noticed my lashes when I was wearing it.
I love this mascara! I bought it in black brown which comes out to a natural dark brown color. This mascara has no funky smell to it.. the brush works really good at applying the mascara and its not flaky or chunky. My lashes definitely have length with this but no curl (of course because this is meant for lengthening anyways!).
This mascara is pretty cheap as well and the packaging is clean and looks good. I will buy this again!
It lengthens and volumizes but I didn't see any curling. Not long lasting on me but an ok mascara. No flakes, the packaging is pretty nice for a drugstore brand with silver touches. The brush is fiber bristles that narrows at the tip so you can get the inner and outer lashes. Bought at Big Lots for $3.00 so if you need to pickup a mascra quickly this is a good buy. But just be warned that you will need to look in the mirror every couple of hours to fix the smudges.
I purchased this product in Midnight Black. It does exactly what it promises...lengthens lashes and turns them a dark, intense black.
It will not add volume or curl your lashes. But it also will not smudge or flake. I wore it all day while slathered in sunblock and sweating while repairing the roof...and when I was done it looked freshly applied.
It currently can be found for 2.00 at Big Lots, and I highly recommend it.
It lengthens very well and covers each of the lashes...but I hate the fact that it smudges so easily and there is a little bit of flakes on it every time I apply...
What attracted me to this mascara was the shade name* Midnight Black*."The blacker the better",I think. The brush Its not the newer flexi wand technology such as Avon's Superfull or Maybelline's define a lash so you get the idea. Its bristles are similar to the classic wands however made more coarse. The brush if used closer to the base of the lash does lengthen the lashes and does a good job at it however I personally didn't need a length boosting mascara. I would highly recommend it to any woman who needs to lengthen the lashes. As for the Shade my lashes came out a very black. Honestly speaking. This is probably the blackest mascara I have ever tried amongst every market of Drugstore and high end mascaras. If you don't lack volume but want your lashes pitch black this is the mascara to get. I will also note that this holds curl the entire day. It's not irritating and very light. If your looking for a simple mascara that lengthens lashes and has them looking the blackest ever. This is the mascara. I cant find nothing negative to add in the review. The packaging is pretty cool It's a modern white tube with silver signiture script. Looks cool in the makeup bag or on the desk. If it turns into a mascara I start using daily I'll bump it a 5.
Picked this up last night, figuring I'd at least give it a shot because I've been looking for something lengthening. This was just awful. There were no clumps and it separated, but I rarely have these problems with mascaras anyway.
I purchased the color midnight black, but it certainly was not what it claimed. It was more of a grey and did not look black at all. There was also no lengthening whatsoever. The packaging is cool but the product is worthless. I followed the instructions on the package and still no length. I tried a couple different ways of applying (ie, just sweeping it through, wiggling, etc) and it all turned out the same. I have decent lashes anyway but would really like the "wow length" look, which this product does not provide.
Anyway, this product is extremely natural, you may as well not wear mascara at all. It does not lengthen, which it claims to do, so it's overall worthless. Will not repurchase.
As other reviewers have said, this goes on evenly, little to no clumping, and it wears well. Here are my beefs with this mascara: (1) I have short lashes, and I bought the 'lengthening' type because I wanted more length and drama. There was little 'extra length' to be had here.. I've seen much better for about the same price... Max Factor comes to mind. (2) I purchased 'Midnight Black', and it could've been better described as 'faint black'. Fairly weak in the color department. Perhaps if i had naturally medium/long lashes, and wanted more grooming than drama, this would be worth it. As it is, I won't repurchase.
This is the only mascara I have ever liked enough to repurchase. I found it very lengthening, easy to apply and natural looking.
This mascara isn't intended for a dramatic effect. If that's what your looking for, I would try something else. It seperated my lashes and darkened them and made them look really natural. Nothing flashy, but it didn't clump or go on too thick.
