loved the packaging, loved the smell, loved the shade, HATED the texture as it dried my lips really badly.

Owh I love it so much. This is the best. I like the color of G303. It's moisturized eventhough very sheer so that I have to reapply on and on. It smells and taste so good..

i love how everything at anna sui smells like roses! this was a big motivation for me in buying this lipstick.
colour goes on smoothly and feels very creamy on lips. the actual hydrating power of the lipstick is slightly questionable (it ain't no chapstick, that's for sure) and the colour fades away a bit too quickly.
packaging is beautiful, but be careful--the lid falls off all the time in my purse

I got this 301 Glossy, at Sears for $22. Like her other products it's cute, smells great, and... Yeah, the packaging is great. Aside from that I would say it's slightly moisturizing but has average staying power at best. If you have the extra cash and need to have cute lipstick to whip out - then this is for you. If not... There are better one's elsewhere.

The product caught my eye while I was travelling in Japan.
I initially bought it as a gift for my mum but it does not seems to suit her thus I took over and use it. The color is of a light shade pink and when applied it does not dry up your lips. Great. (That might be individual though.) BUT overall I think that the packaging was the nicest thing of the product. It feels good to use a product that looks pretty too. xD

Like other Anna Sui products, this lipstick is tea-rose scented, which may or may not appeal to certain people. I have this in the "V" formula (i.e. a velvet feel&finish). I've tried using this without first applying lip balm, and it's moisturizing/hydrating enough!

I bought this after reading on-line reviews on other sites and was greatly disappointed in the end. I love the packaging and I love the way it goes on - but the smell! I can't even describe it... but once it's on for about five minutes, it fades. The other thing that happens is my lips get dried out like never before. After using it for two days and trying moistening products under it, I've given up.

I love Anna Sui lipsticks. A lot of her other products are not the best quality but I always fall for them because of her beautiful packaging. However, her lipsticks are one of the best products of her line. They are very creamy and smooth. The colors are sheer but you can always apply more without looking overdone. And the smell! I love roses, and all of her products have that soft rose smell to them. Harder to find here in the States but if you can get them, I highly recommend to do so.

I have Sui Rouge M in 350, a light red. Not pink, but light red.
It's a disaster. My lips are usually supple enough on their own, (I apply balms overnight) And this lippy just KILLED it. Super drying, the colour does not go on evenly. Packaging is cute. Too drying. It even manages to dry out my lips after I apply balm THEN lipstick. I even used the Anna Sui lip balm.
NOT repurchasing.

I have the Dolly Girl 01 color which is pink. It goes on sheer with a slight hint of pink and little shimmer. The color lasts pretty long and has the signature rose scent to it. The lipsick itself also has the Dolly Girl design on it which is cute. The top of the lipstick is actually rounded so it doesn't have the slant that most lipsticks do, so I had to swipe it on a few times to make sure I got it on evenly.

very lovely packaging.... smells really nice.... but as for the lipstick itself... it chaps my lips like crazy... lots of glitter.... color does not stay.... would have loved this if the product's quality was higher... but I guess nothing is ever perfect! love the packaging tho!!

I have to say that this is the greatest listick I have ever used. That is a sweeping statement, but it's true. I use #351 M (matte). I have never experienced a matte lipstick like this before. It is obviously loade with silicones, so it makes youe lips incredibly silky and smooth. I usually hate mattes because they are too drying or opaque and by the end of the day they leave you with little flakes on my lips. However, when this lipstick wears off, that's it - clean off; just reapply if necessary. The colour is what I have been looking for for years - a beige/mauve that is not too flat and lifeless for my skin tone. The packaging is lovely - not too pretentious, and though I islike loads of fragrance in my cosmetics, this has a subtle rose scent - very soft. Again the greatest...

i have sui rouge G in 700, which is a glossy, sheer pink-beige. it looks sort of like mauve in the case but on me, it's really sheer and natural. it wears like a gloss and is SO comfortable but lasts for very long! the lipstick case is too cute for words. and it smells of the signature anna sui rose smell. i love it and hope to try other shades!

I have Anna Sui #203 - a rather goth but pretty dark purple. Actually, it wears more like a dark mauve. It smells great, and the packaging could not be more adorable and special. This is the only high end lipstick I've ever bought twice. Of course, this color's probably not for everyone!

Perfect. I got a really dark one (#205) and it goes gorgeous with dark eye makeup or no makeup at all. Its like a dark purply browny shimmery burgundy kinda colour.. so hard to explain but I love it. The packaging is absolutely heavenly, it feels good and stays on for ever. Want more!!

I have Sui Rouge M 450 (pure red). I love it, the rose smell is refreshing and it doesn't have a taste. Its really nice. I wear whenever I can. I think everyone should at least have one of Anna Sui's lipsticks cas it a different experience.

I got this in #501, a Glossy. It's a lovely YLBB akin to MAC's VGV but without the shimmer. Very nice smooth finish, extremely pigmented. Extremely. Obviously will last all day, no question, despite the glossy aspect. The packaging is soooo cute! Way overpriced but almost worth it for the adorable rose shaped cap and delicious tea-rose scent. Probably wouldn't buy again, but I bought it in a lot on eBay and paid around $6.50 for it. I'd try it in other colors if I can find them for below retail!EDIT:I did grab a few more, and I must say the thing Anna Sui does best is to create a mindblowingly thorough array of YLBB colors. Different finishes, extremely subtle color shifts, there's almost no chance of not finding the perfect one for everyone. While I liked 501, I died when I tried 701. It is the PERFECT one for my coloring (pale skin, dark hair). The Glossy finish is, I realize, actually glossier than some lipglosses I have, it's that shiny. Yet it has loads of pigment, and lasts forever, like a good high-end lipstick should. The color, oh my. It's this wonderful soft nude shade, a hair darker than my natural color, and perfectly neutral on me. It looks incredibly pretty, and it smells divine and actually conditions my lips some too. I liked 700 (and older shade, non-glossy) too; it's extremely close to 701, but the pigment is much denser and it isn't quite perfect on me, a bit too brown. Basically there is your perfect shade out there in this line, just try a few (they're actually pretty easy to snag for under $10 on ebay). continued >>
