I've tried ESC in two forms, the serum in the pump and the one you mix (the formula which requires mixing was purchsed in Italy, I don't know if it's available in the states).
The serum is much better, and I really love it. Spectacular results. Increased hydration and firmness around the eye area, and overall luminosity without breakouts. Highly recommend, if you can afford it.
There are serums with equally wonderful benefits which won't pinch the pocketbook quite so much. If you can put this in your rotation, howver, its worth the price--and purchase the serum, it's more effective than that boxed set thing. I get immediate results with the concentrate, and I can be a pretty harsh judge.
BTW, per a previous reviewer, I'm not a sun bunny (any more) or over 65--over 40 and prone to breakouts. Not parched--only a small amount of cross hatching under the eye which I'm keeping in check. This works fabulous. continued >>

i only had a sample of this, but it did last a long time (over a month). it is a very splooshy gel, similar to cdlm serum. however, it is smellier (-1), stickier (-1), and it causes my face to break out (-1). when i say smelly, i mean stinky old fish smell.
also, i didn't see much of a difference on my face other than pimples. cdlm moisturizes and calms, this stuff just kind of sat there.
HOWEVER, when used on my neck, watch out! it did cause a slight tightening in my jawline, the neck seemed more toned, and the skin had fewer dry lines. i still have the chicken-skin (i know, i'm a mess!) but i blame bad genes. so +1.
i would not repurchase, despite the neck improvement, because if i wasn't careful about application, i ended up with jawline pimples. that is a stress i don't need. it did show me that the skin on my neck is NOT the same as on my face, so live and learn. continued >>

I love this stuff... my skin is smooth and almost wrinkle-free, and I turn 51 this year. I credit this to a somewhat arbitrary use of a motley assortment of skin-care lines-- osmotics, orlane, and natura bisse. For me, the essential shock lifts and firms without either drying or feeling oily. I use it under my orlane anti-fatigue cream.
