I recently purchased this lipstick. The saleslady at MAC chose this one for me-I love the colour-it is perfect for my skintone, which is both warm and cool (albeit a little more on the cool side). The texture is creamy and somewhat opaque and this lipstick does not dry out my lips. The colour stays on for a long time, too. I also like that this shade of lipstick is quite versatile, in that it can be worn for going out or for everyday. 5 lippies.

I love this color. It's pretty bold but not in a bad way. I apply it to my upper lip and then rub them together and it's perfect. I add a coat of curvaceous lipglass and the look is complete :)

Stunning lipstick!! The colour is perfect, i sometimes apply it very lightly over a primer, and it leaves a gorgeous 'just bitten' stain, and sometimes heavier if i want a full splash of colour. The texture is creamy and seems to last ages on me. It's the perfect shade for me,i sometimes use it with Korres Lip Butter in Plum too which is a beautiful product and matches Craving really well. Highly reccomended.

my favorite berry lipstick as of now, you just need to dab it on and rub your lips around a bit and its perfect. not drying for me like my other mac lipsticks.

This was my first "must have" MAC lipstick and the one that got me hooked on the Amplified Creme formulation (I only wish there were more choices in that finish!). A lovely deep pinky berry colour with good staying power and it doesn't leave my lips feeling dried out. This and Plumful are lipsticks that I have in multiples (3 or 4 of each on the go at any one time). I'm NW20 and can vouch for this as the most flattering colour for cool-toned gals with dark hair and eyes! It gives the prettiest look to your whole face!

This is a exquisite. I tried doing the nude lip thing for years. I thought I was much too fair to wear a bright lipstick. I also tended to wear more eye makeup to play up my large, dark eyes. The funny thing is that when I wear this bright lippie, it makes me look healthy and alive in a way no nude lipstick ever could. Also, oddly enough, I think the contrast of my large dark eyes against my fair skin is better emphasized with a natural eye and a bright lipstick. Go figure!
The color on me is raspberry toned down a bit with a dose of plum. It is bright without being garish. The formula is not drying and it lasts a decent amount of time. I wear this day or night, usually when I'm wearing cool toned clothing.

My favorite lipstick shade! It looks good day or night. Makes any lips look great and makes your face pop.

This is my everyday lipstick. at least when i am in the mood for a bit more pinkish lipstick. it looks great i think and just love the color

Such a lovely color. This lipstick is an Amplified formula, it's amazingly pigmented and moisturizing. Cool toned berry pink that looks great on my very fair NC20 skin. I have brown hair and blue eyes for reference. I have a hard time pulling off sine reds this us the perfect deep blue toned pink. Looks dramatic and beautiful!

Love this color! Sooo pretty! It's a mauvey-deep pink, almost verging on berry color. It's a wonderful evening color especially for paler girls like me who still want a nice evening lip. I have blue eyes and brown hair and this just looks so nice. I also gave it to my friend (who is Indian) to try and it looked nice on her too. It's also fairly moisturizing. So yes, I would buy this again.

When I asked for a berry lipstick at the MAC counter, the artist gave me Craving, and I really liked it! It applies evenly and doesn't accentuate dryness or cracking. I knocked it down a point just because I don't often pick it up - it doesn't really call out to me.

I never bought Craving. I bought stupid Captive instead which I don't like. I think I bought Captive without seeing it in natural daylight which is a big no no. I'm sorry I didn't buy Craving now.

I was looking for a mauvey color in the matte shades but i guess they don't have any. I happened to see this shade & ive never tried the amplified finish yet so i said what the hey & tried it on. It looked really pretty (almost mauvey) in the store, i asked my husband what he thought & he liked it so i B2M for it. When i stepped outside & looked in the mirror i was a bit shocked because it was pink, not mauve or plum but pink. My husband said he still thought it looked good though. So i blotted my lips & then i was happy with the results. I really like this finish too, i think i may buy more (but in a diff color). continued >>

This is a beautiful colour. Pulls quite pink on me, but looks natural-ish. Best of all, the formula is to die for. Creamy, definately opaque, and long lasting. I really love this colour, first time ive worn something in this range of colours. the pics on here dont do it justice. Great lipstick from MAC!

First of all even though I wont rebuy this I still loved it, happy to just have swapped it.
Its rather heavy for me, not sheer enough , full coverage for sure.
Almost pin-up 50's like! Katy Perry color to me, made me look like I was trying hard, and wasnt natural at all to me.
Still gorgeous, I bought it for clubbing! Its bold enough even under the black lights.

I am a lipstick HO and will not even confess how many tubes of lipstick I own, LOL!! So, be ready to be shocked when I tell you that Craving is my first MAC lipstick!! Where has it been all my life??? :^)
Craving is a very creamy lipstick with exceptional coverage. It's a slightly bluish pink but not mauve. It's in between raspberry and plum. If I put on a light coat with gloss on top it's a sweet, innocent pink. If I put it on more thickly, it's a gorgeous medium pink. I love it. I can't wait to buy my next tube of MAC!
I've always been a Revlon lipstick girl, but I think I am going to have to break up and go steady with MAC! ***Love***

On mother's day I was in Nordstrom with the lipstick my mom always wore from Shiseido that I snatched so I could find a similar color at the MAC counter. I have to say this color is great and is a dupe for this discontinued lipstick from Shiseido P10 Fushia Volt. Though this is not a famous lipstick I am sure that women not so much teens would like this color.

i love this lipstick so much! i've been buying it for 3 years now. its such a beautiful color. recommend it to anyone with fair or medium skintones! might look too bright if your on the darker side cuz i get very dark in the summer and couldnt really pull this shade off

Craving is an amplified creme so therefore it has a lot of coverage. This is redish plummy color that would look good on any skin tone. I do not wear it that often because I honestly do not think it is anything special. I think there are other shades that does that same job but looks better.
