This is the shorter, slightly thicker-stemmed brush, not the long $9 one. This one actually cost $10 (altough it fails to make sense why a shorter brush would cost more, the brushes are exactly the same). I got this to line my eyes w/ powder eyeshadow, and it does so wonderfully! I dampen the tip a little bit, and it works great. Also good for applying a darker shadow color to the outer edge of your lids (if you shade like I do), it helps to give a more controled shade. I love it, and if anything ever happened to it, yeah, I'd buy a new one. Highly recommended.
