I don't get all the *hate* for this product as well! I must admit that the whole "transforms from a gel to a liquid once sprayed" is a marketing ploy/gimmick. I'm sure that you can put any kinda gel in the ball and have it spray out the same. It just sprays out the GEL! haha. I LOOOOOVE the smell which is what opted me to go for this in the first place. I just spray some into my hand and work into my hair. Works very well that way. I have LONG layered hair and this is not greasy nor sticky (when using the method i do above). Cheap price too! good stuff.

I can't believe other folks don't like this!!! I've recently gone from long layered hair to a short, sleek bob, but when I had long hair, scrunching it with this stuff and tousle-drying it was a foolproof way to get a bit of body and rock-star texture through my huge pile of babyfine-textured hair: anything else seemed to weigh the hair right down and make it even floppier... this gave a pleasant "just been for a brisk walk (or a saucy tumble) in salty sea air" ruggedness and volumne to my hairdo. Perhaps this only works for folk with very, very fine hair, I dunno? I loved the smell, too..... and the little green ball packaging was sooooo cute.....

I bought this gel based on the commercials and magazine advertisements, sorry I fell for the marketing ploy. The smell is fine, but the hold is pathetic and it makes my curly frizz-prone hair even more frizzy. My husband likes it for his very short but thick hair, so it wasn't a total waste of money. I will not repurchase ever again...

This is just as evil as the shampoos, it gave me HORRIBLE greasy/waxy buildup that I had to wash out with a clarifying shampoo like 3 times, nothing else would get it out! It was HORRIBLE, if I could go lower than 1 on the scale I definitely would. Besides, it didn't volumize or lift, it was like a glob of spray snot in my hair.
I liked it. I have long hair. Perhaps it is because I have never used Gel for "volume" before (I typically use mousse) so that was what drove me to use this product. I went out and my hair was still lifted at the roots.
Yuck! I was also taken in by the cute packaging. This product did nothing but dry my hair out something fierce! The only positive was that I only paid $2 for it!
Cute bottle, horrible product.. it does absolutely NOTHING for your hair, no volume nothing. It only makes it feel icky. It doesnt 'spritz' nice, no a giant ball of gel shoots out. Gross stuff. My boyfriend also bought the stuff and didn't like it, he gave it to me. Now I have 2 bottles of this horrible stuff! Blegh. Don't throw away your money.
This is a gel spray in a funky round bubble bottle. I admit I bought this cos of advertising where the models had mussed up "shaken" hair held messy by this. I can achieve that effect with this gel- but it doesn't last I'm afraid. This'd be a strong gel for shorter hair though. It has that lovely fructis smell too. A bid down side for me though is this applied to say, a ponytail has a sort of wet look to it and adds no shine at all. D.xx
