I can smell fresh sweet pineapple and the cookie, which put me off at first sniff, but now I find it quite nice. It’s lovely when I first slather it on, but the dry down is icky. Up close, I smell like a plastic bag with the pineapple cookies inside it! But when I walked into the lounge room, my SO said, “Wow, what’s that smell?! It smells like apples and cherries!” Though when I said pineapple, he said, “That’s it!” And he said he really liked it!
I have it in the Hand Whipped Body Cream which holds the scent really well. I wore it to bed and could still smell it in the morning; plastic smell was gone now, though it took a few hours for it to go!!
I don’t totally love this one, but I do like it, especially if you don’t sniff too close and I would buy again if they got rid of the plasticky smell. Though that could be just me!
17 Feb 04 – Edit: As time went on, this became more plasticky and too strong for me. It seems some of the foody ones from SP do this to me, but not fruity or floral ones…they’re great! I should say too, that I think Sherri has changed her formulations too, since I got this, so I won’t completely give up on the foody and if I do get them, I’ll try to use them up faster too, just to be sure. continued >>
