So I think this cream has a new formula, because the reviews here are mostly bad. I've been using this cream for a short while now and I really love it! It doesn't make my skin shine and doesn't break me out. It sinks in really fast and is a great base for my foundation. Definately buying again. That will take a while, cause I got it in a buy one and get one for free promotion!

I've worn this for a week in Marrakesh trying to be sensible and protect my skin. I now have a slight healthy looking tan (nothing dreadful) but a faceful of acne and cysts along my jawline and lower cheeks. This stuff is hideous!! It has clogged my pores horrifically, regardless of how well I've cleansed after wearing it. It is far to0 thick and greasy and made my face look like a shiny oil slick regardless of how little I used. Straight into the bin!!!!

This would be an excellent everyday sunscreen for dry skins, but for one thing: the smell. How can anyone put anything so strongly scented on the face? The fragrance takes at least an hour to fade, and during that time it makes me feel ill at ease, since it's impossible to get away from a scent that is on the face. Also, I have sensitive skin, so I dislike putting extra ingredients on for no reason. Phooey on this stuff.

This stuff is better on my body than my face, as it is very intensely moisturising (read: shine-inducing). If my face needs a bit more moisture, though, it's great. Otherwise, I use Clinique City Block, which is a better make-up base for everyday use.

"Err... your skin. What...?" was essentially the way my boyfriend greeted me when he saw me, or rather, my skin, last week. Eye-opening moment for this very normal-skinned individual: this sunscreen makes me look extremely shiny after 2 applications and a bit odd -- kind of glowy, but too unnatural for my taste.
Apart from how my vain self can't handle looking so shiny, greasy, and like a perspiring fool, there is also the problem of viscosity, streaking and rubbing off into eraser-like pieces. Not charming and a potential mess. Still, this is a reliable formula, marked by the 4 out of 4 star rating. Mexoryl XL, Mexoryl SX, Parsol 1789 and titanium dioxide provide for a very protective formula. As a seasoned sunscreen user, I will note that my skin looks great while using this and if I could look like myself with this on, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. But again, I have come to the realization that I've got to use sunscreens that provide more natural to matte finishes lest people whom I meet after sunset not recognize me during the day. continued >>

the texture was ok (a bit on the shiny side but fine with powder), it did however make my eyes sting and my skin looked wrong after a few hours. I had to return this.

I don't know what you guys are talking about! I found it extremely greasy to the point that it looked like I had smeared my face in oil! It's thick and heavy, very titanium dioxidey feeling. Because of this, I don't doubt that it offers good protection, but I also want to look presentable; I feel like people must be thinking what's up with the shiny girl when I wear this stuff. I've given up wearing it on my face; it's just too much trouble to make this look matte. (I do apply a more sunscreen than I would a regular moisturiser, so maybe I've had this effect because I've been using such a large amount.)

This is a very good facial sunscreen with anti-agening protection. I usually don`t like scented products, but this smells so fresh(grapefruit I think). And my face don`t look shiny with this on. UPDATE:After using this product for a long time I started getting small pimples on my face! Too bad, since it seems like a very good sunscreen..

A very big rave for this sunscreen, it is easily the best Mexoryl sunscreen I've tried and will probably become a holy grail for me. While the packaging says cream, this is really a lotion. It contains Mexoryl XL + SX, parsol and titanium dioxide (appears to have less titanium dioxide than the SPF60) and while it's only a SPF 30 four out of a possible four UVA stars are ticked. It has much less white cast than the Solar Expertise SPF 60 and it almost lives up to the claim on the box that it is white streak free. Absorbs well and is light in texture and has the least shine of the European sunscreens I've tried. Only negative is as far as I know it only comes in a 50 mL tube, on the positive it is a great purse size. It doesn't have the annoying twist top packaging as the milks do. I have very sensitive skin with mild rosacea and did not have the slightest sensitivity to this sunscreen, despite the fresh/citrus fragance. I'd very highly rec trying this.
