MAC Fondle is just awful on my warm skintone. This looks like mud .. it's a deeper nude that has a heavy grey undertone. It's a satin formula, so this can't even be sheered out to make it more wearable. This might work better on someone with cooler undertones but on my skintone (mmm/nc42) it was beyond hideous! I'll stick with Hue or Fleshpot thank you!

I'm sorry, but this lipstick color is hideous! I am perpetually looking for that perfect nude lipstick, and when I saw this, I thought it had a lot of potential. In the tube it looks like a pretty light brown. On the lips it looks like mud. No joke, this looks like you melted down milk chocolate and spread it onto your lips. *not flattering.* I am NC25. Maybe this would work better for someone with a darker complexion, but keep in mind this has ZERO amount of pink or peach in it. It is pure BROWN. Yes its light, but Fondle + my skintone = horrible combination.

NW25, freckles, pigmented lips. looking for a nice beige on me is like pulling teeth! this showed up like spackle on my lips :(
got it in a swap for very cheap, so i'm not bent out of shape about it, but still.
i thought it would be better than one that was TOO pinky on my pinky skin, but my lips were just too pink for this lipstick. the color of my lips showed on the inside of my lips making a big pink ring inside of this pastey brown ring. sad day.
i think i'll melt it down, mix it with gloss and something pinkey and make a sheerer gloss. b2m is a good thing.

This is a great everyday netural nudie lipstick. I'm and NC45 and I swear by it. Its not peachy or pinky its is a true beige. Fabulous!

I used to pair this with cork during hs.. brings back so many memories! i have repurchased this over and over back then. i tried it on w/ cork a few nights ago and my SO turned around w/ twinkly eyes & a smile sayin he remembered it. the only way i can pull this off now is with l/g over it. its a nude beige but right now i'm more into brighter shimmery shades so this doesn't fit my m/u routine.. a reviewer mentioned applying rimmel's lip vinyl in "Mmmm" over it, a color i love on its own, and it comes out as a glossy very warm & darker nude.. really pretty. i also tried fondle w/ poco pink over it and i loove it.. the gold shimmer in poco pink makes this l/s more wearable and doesn't wash out my mmm/ggg skintone.. brightens my face up. glad i rediscovered this l/s! continued >>

I had been on the quest for the perfect nude l/s. I'm a NC20 with rather pigmented lips, and it's hard for me to find nudes that are opaque enough to lighten my natural lip color but don't totally wash me out. When I found Fondle, it was exactly the color I thought I was looking for, a true beige that lightens my lips but doesn't make me look dead. But now that I own it, I rarely find myself reaching for it. It really only looks right on me with a dark, dramatic eye look. Not the every day nude I was hoping to find. I still think it's a good color and a good product, I was just wrong about what I wanted. Wouldn't repurchase.

this colour is good if you are looking for something to balance out the color of your lips, it acts as a base colour. its good for coloured women that tend to have uneven pigmentation, (the top lip is brown the bottom is pink). your probably wondering why you should buy this lipstick to even out your lips if you can just use your regular concealer or foundation, but i find that when i do that my lips become dry and chapped. so you get a good colour and moisteriser, if your lips still feel dry you can even apply mac's sheer lipstick in a shade that matches the creme colour.

A nice neutral muted beige brown color. I wouldn't buy it again just because I have other ways/colors to acheive a nude look that I prefer.

as always, MAC's packaging is fabulous. the texture of this lippie is great, but the color is just NOT suitable for me.
im a MMM/GGG- not sure which. im olive toned, with a lot of yellow, dark brown hair, brown eyes. i assumed that id be dark enough to pull of this l/s.
it wasnt sexy, or remotely attractive. it wasnt bridget bardot, or priscilla presley. it wasnt even J-Lo, lord help me. it was more....corpse-ish.
i tried, i really did. i applied it sheerly. i applied it heavily. i mixed it with clear gloss. the only way this would look decent on me, is if i were to blend it with another color....and i havent found this color yet. i tried a pinkish orange gloss. i tried a pink gloss. i tried a red gloss. no.
ill stick with my oh baby, and c thru. i hoped that this would be the l/s version of c-thru.

I was looking for a pinky-brown lipstick, so I tried Fondle. It's a really pretty color, and the MA suggested I pair it with Cork liner, which looks great. I think this lipstick goes great with my (warm) skin tones, and it's not too dark or harsh-looking. It's a great fall/winter color. For $13 it's definitely worth the price and I'd definitely buy this again.

I love this lipstick. If I wear it alone, it is a little too light and washes me out but when I put Rimmel Vinyl Lip in "Mmmm" overtop, it creates the BEST color!!! Muted, brownish/pink - LOVE IT! And like all MAC lipsticks, the quality is great and will last forever!

My ultimate totally neutral nude, Fondle will go on record as the first lipstick I have totally used up in my life (well, in the last 10 years or so anyway; back in college and my "salad days" as a journalist, I actually used to be the type of person who only owned 2-3 lipsticks and used them to the bitter end. Not any more, though!). I am a card-carrying fan of nude tones to begin with, so my love of this color is largely attributable to my personal tastes. But what I really love about it is its perfectly beige tonality (no orange, no gray) as well as its fabulous, fantastic staying power. Worn alone or under gloss, it's a knockout; and I have also employed it as a neutralizer to all kinds of other colors, from fuchsias to darker browns.

Another great Nude/Beige lipstick from MAC! I love wearing this with the Love-In Lacquer over it! I have to start assigning specific days of the week for each MAC beige lipstick I own =)

i have very pigmented lips, and didn't like the way Fondle looked on me at all (i'm a MAC NC35). they made my lips blend into the rest of my face, looking as if i'd covered my lips in concealer. i tried the Stripdown + Fondle + C-Thru Lipglass combo to achieve a nude look, but i ended up looking lip-less and scary. the texture is also pretty dry - too dry for my dry lips. i was definitely disappointed by this one. a better match for me was Freckle.
