I think I have combination skin, and I've wanted to try Awake for ages after reading about it somewhere. I LOVE the way this foams - you just need a small bit to get a fab lather, the scent is great (fresh and light), and it feels so fluffy going on. It rinses well, takes off my makeup, but about 5 minutes after rinsing, my skin feels tight, but then a bit later it feels normal. I'll use the whole tube and see how it goes. :) So far I'm liking it lots, though.

I love the consistency of this product. I like how it goes on and how it washes off, it almost feels like a creamy clay cleanser. That said, it made my skin more oily after a few hours of cleansing than it had been before (same happened with me with Shiseido). I am sworn off of Japanese skincare now (I believe Awake is Japanese or some other east asian skincare). For some reason it just makes my skin oilier even tho it felt real nice right then when I was washing. And as one other reviewer said its a little too strong for your skin (concentration of AHA BHAs? Does anyone know them? Seemed a little strong to me). Also ever since I started using Lancome Mousse Clarte I hate the kind of caps that you have to screw on and off becoz the pump foam cleansers are SO convenient.

This made my skin thin/red with all the AHA/BHA.However,it cleaned ok,did not cause breakouts which is a major plus for me. I would probably use it in the winter twice a week.

This is a great gel cleanser that foams. It says it is recommended for oily and combination skin, but I am really dry and do not feel like it strips my skin at all. It also removes waterproof mascara.

Tried a sample of this morning and night for a week. It contains enzymes that gently remove dead skin. I purchased a full size for $30. Worth it. Small dab, decent foam, leaves skin smooth. Doesn't remove makeup...but cleans skin well.

This is Awake's newest face wash. It is a gentle, foaming gel cleanser that is fragrance-free. It has prune and papaya extract and leaves your skin feeling very fresh and revitalized. I've only tried a sample so I have no idea what the full size retails for (probably a moderate to high amount). They've also come out with a cream souffle wash that I am looking forward to trying and comparing to this one. :)
