This was way too heavy and greasy for my fair, combination skin. It was difficult to apply because of the thickness. But I did love the smell, however.

I found it too slippery and perfumed. I think I'll stick with the Clinique UV Response Face Cream SPF30 for the face. No perfume and not greasy at all.

. UPDATE JAN 05 : I think this is simply too rich for my oily/combo skin and find that later in the day it slips too much so make up is a problem, plus if it gets near my mouth it tastes horrid and has stung my eyes on occasion, it hasn't ever broken me out though, and I feel this is a decent sunscreen with good ingredients but is better for those with dry/normal/sensitive skins.2nd UPDATE: I have been using this for months now and have to say I'm not as impressed as I was initially. The first thing is it is too rich a texture for me and leaves a noticibly white ,gresy cast. That eventually fades but for the first few hours I look unnaturally pallid. The second and most important factor is that despite my liberal and thorough use of this every day, I am still getting new sun spots! I use apple cider vinegar every night as a toner and this helps to fade old scars and sunspots , but new ones appear on a regular basis. This is my primary purpose for wearing such a high spf , so clearly the UVA blocker isn't as potent as one would expect from a factor 40. Right now it is winter so the sun isn't quite as ferocious as it could be, but surely in the middle of winter an spf 40 should guard against pigmentation. The other reviewers seem to be faring better with this product, which I don't understand as I think I've the darkest skin of them all, yet seem to be the least well protected. Though I have to say, I tan remarkably easily, despite avoiding the sun ,never sunbathing and religiously wearing sunscreen. Actually, no sunscreen has ever prevented me from darkening (though I don't burn) so I wonder what that says about my skin.

I have very fair, oily, sensitive skin and burn very quickly. This smooths on pretty well. At first it's very white, but as you rub it in it disappears. This works pretty well under my make-up. I wait about 15 minutes before applying it and it wears well. As far as feeling greasy, it's the least oily feeling sunscreen I've ever used.

I am so glad I discovered this SPF thanks to you MUAers. I use La Mer Spf at a whopping $65 for 1.7oz. Compared to that this is dirt cheap. It smells great, does not leave a white cast and dries to a soft matte finish unlike the La Mer which makes my skin more dewy. FANTASTIC. Decleor did it again

This is definitely one of the top 3 finds of this year and my personal holy grail sunscreen. I have tried many different sunscreens like Neutrogena, DDF, PT Roth, Murad etc. And none come close to this one. The price is fairly steep at around $28 for a 2.5 oz tube but it's well worth it. I have combo skin with dry spots on cheeks and around the mouth and oily t-zone and this works so well with my skin. It does not feel or look oily, it absorbs extremely well and does not leave a white cast, the protection is maximal-just the way I like it. This is the only sunscreen I've actually enjoyed using on a daily basis without breakouts (like with Neutrogena), peeling and dryness (like with PT Roth) and white cast (like DDF). I sometimes even use this without a moisturizer and it makes my GA LSF glide on so smoothly but looks great without foundation as well. Highly recommend this.

Decleor Ecran Tres Haute Protection is another fabulous all natural sun block. It is 2nd only to Komenuka Bijin UV sun block. This is a lovely light greaseless cream that applies flawlessly and melts into your skin. It is a pleasure to use.!!!
