I have to give this one low scores as well. I'm not sure if Origins even sells this anymore. It was really rough on my hair and extremely messy.
It stains... Not just the shower curtin or the bath tub... It also stained the collar of my shirt!!! (On a raining day, once my hair got wet from the rain, the color started to DRIP from my hair)
I didn't find this product to be over-drying, since I have the habit of using Leave-In Conditioner.
The prodcut, does give my dark hair a bit of red tint. The longer you leave it on your hair (before wash off) and the longer you use the product, the more dramatic the tint.
Ok...this stinks. It's very drying, stained my shower (when the bottle leaked), and I haven't noticed any change in my color. I really can not come up with any redeeming qualities whatsoever to justify the price.
Not only did the cap and packaging was bad, where it leaked and stained the marble in my shower brown (and after many bleachings has yet to come out!), the smell is horrible. The results were very subtle. It was a waste of $16.50, and I do not recommend this to anyone!
This shampoo really changes the color of your hair! I have dark brown hair and it now has a really pretty red tint to it. I would give this five lippies, but the red color in the shampoo has stained my shower curtain a bit.. Other than that, it's a great product that I continue to buy!
I'm a dyed red-head. I used to use the red tealights. It is very messy, the flip-cap applicator is just a bad idea because it leaks and stains everything. However, this product WILL change the color of your hair. It WILL keep your color longer, so it is worth the mess. One problem...I have moved to England, where I don't have a shower, only a bath. I am afraid to use this stuff in the bath, as I'm afraid it will irritate my skin, as my skin can be sensitive. If anybody has any experience with using this stuff in the bath or with sensitivity issues with this stuff, do review. Thanks!
