Really wanted to love this, because I use the rest of the Astara line. But when I noticed all the arnica on the ingredient list, I should have known better. This didn't feel comfortable going on and made my eyes itch. As always when trying a new eye cream, I only used it on one eye. I tried the newly reformulated Fresh Soy Eye Cream on the other eye. The Fresh eye was considerably brighter and healthier-loooking than the Astara eye in the morning.

I liked the texture of this product but I foud it very irritating to my eyes. It burned and I think it did more harm than good! I do love other Astara products, though.

For a long time I looked for a great daytime eyecream that would work great with ALL of my concealers, lightly moisturize, and not contribute any puffiness to my already allergy prone, sensitive eyes. This is the first product I found that fit all of these criteria. Now I did recently discover the Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream for daytime use, and I love it equally as well for slightly different properties. I have actually layered the this one under the Kiehl's for added hydration the morning after a particularly strong AHP. I consider both of these my HG daytime eyecreams, the Astara being a tad more lightweight and absorbing more quickly. I would not have ever given this one a second thought had I not gotten a sample with an online order of other products. It is pricey at $48 a bottle, but one bottle, with once daily use should last nearly a yr. I highly recommend sampling this one.
