This is a facial sunscreen containing Octyl Methoxycinnamate and Zinc Oxide(&Dimethicone) as the active ingredients. I have troubles with sunscreens/ moisturizers containing avobenzone (=parsol1789, it has also a bunch of other names depending on the manufacturer)- I break out in little bumps with anyhting that contains too much of it. That's why I am always looking for a moisturizer with physical sunblock to guarantee UVA protection. I've had this one for almost one year and it is fantastic. No breakouts with my sensitive combo skin and also no oily breakthrough that I've experienced with other sunscreens. If your skin is rather dry you may prefer to use some moisturizer underneath. The cream smells a bit metallic due to the zinc oxide. The only real drawback with this product is the price- it stands in line with LaMer SPF18! Otherwise a perfect product with good ingredients and nice packaging. continued >>
