crap! one of the worst foundations ive used. its very SHEER- so watery you cant tell you have foundation on, and my skin tone looks exaclty as it did without it. dont like the texture or the smell. would definitely not buy again.

this is, by far, the *worst* higher-end foundation i've tried.
perhaps i should have heeded the word "sheer" a little more readily; because this product is, indeed, sheer. it's almost as thin as water, and covers about as well. it does nothing to even out my skin tone (which is already pretty darn even, so it's not a difficult feat), and feels greasy. yuck! yes, the product is oil-free, but something in it just doesn't do well, chemically, with my skin. i'm oily, btw; perhaps a drier skin would be a better match for this product.
this might also be a great light foundation for a young teen (i'm 34).
i bought Beige 03, which is a perfect match with my winter skin; i'll give it that much.
in addition to being oil-free, the product has an SPF of 20.
interesting ingredients include aloe, acacia, arnica, betula alba bark, calendula, camellia, chamomile, and soy aminos.
don't _not_ try this, but _definitely_ get a sample packet before you splurge on an entire bottle. unfortunately, this was an impulse buy for me.

A very sheer foundation, as the name suggests. And its meant for dry and sensitive skin. I fit into that category, the funny thing is it somehow looks really thick on me, people kept telling me my makeup looked cakey little did they know, I was using a sheer coverage foundation, and I've only applied one thin layer, and worst of all, it somehow made my blemishes stood out even more. I've no idea what's going on or what's wrong with the foundation since its Calvin Klein even its not the best there's no way its the worst... And it didn't blend into my skin very well it kinda sat on top of my skin. I really like its texture since its very watery and sheer exactly what I want but it looks like shit on my face. Didn't work for me.

This super sheer foundation is a wonder for people with dry skin. My Mum was having the hardest time with her dry, very sensitive skin finding products that worked. This foundation offers full sunscreen protection, just the slightest amount of coverage for evening out skintone, and is not at all drying. She loves it and swears she will never buy anything else. I have to agree with other ratings that this foundation is not for those with oily skin or those seeking fuller matte coverage. But for anyone with dry, sensitive skin seeking a reliable sunscreen in a light foundation this is amazing! As an extra note, this product is 100% fragrance free, a major plus for sensitve skin types.

I liked this foundation at first, but it left my combination skin looking and feeling oily by the end of the day. The pump is wonderful, though, and the colors are very realistically neutral. I usually use tinted moisturizer but this made me even more oily. I have not seen my face THIS oily in a long time (probably ever). I do not have acne so the sheer coverage was good for me, but be warned that it IS very sheer. Would be much better to use on normal-dry skin instead of normal to oily skin. A decent and better looking alternative is Becca LSC.

I am ambivalent towards this product. Sometimes, it works so well that I find myself with flawless skin after using it. But, sometimes it just makes my skin flaky or patchy. Why?
I actually like the idea of using a pump to deliver the foundation. It minimizes the chance of spoiling the rest of the foundation whenever you use it.

I was debating whether to get this, or the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. The coverage of this product is probably more sheer than most sheer foundations out there- it is in fact more like a tinted moisturizer. I chose this because of the higher spf content, and I also really like the pump packaging. I didn't have a problem with shine using this- I have normal/combo skin and put this on after moisturizer and my waterproof sunscreen, and didn't use any powder. I like how both CK foundations are neutral in color, no weird pinks, oranges, or overwhelming yellows.

I try this one in Bisque on my LLL-MMM normal-dry skin. It goes on super sheer or even sheerer than many tinted moisturizer that I've tried. But it is a wonderful choice for dry skin, it feels lightweight and hydrating. The pump applicator is my fave since it keeps the product hygienic (I'm a clean nut!), but not sure I'll buy again since I think I like a little more coverage.

I have this in buff and as a rule don't normally like using foundation all over because it looks unnatural. This has sfp 20 so it's good on sunny days for extra coverage.

Like other reviewers, I was attracted to this foundation because of the spf 20. I am an MMM and have this in 03 Beige. The color selection could stand to be better but since the foundation is so sheer, it really is goof proof which is a plus. However, it leaves my skin feeling very oily; it does nothing to control the shine. I haven't had any break outs from this foundation. I will finish off this bottle but I will not buy it again. The search for my Holy Grail Foundation continues.

A very good, sheer foundation. I like that it has a high spf, and is oil free. It didn't make me break out and gave a nice matte finish. I will buy this product again!

I thought this would be a great daily foundation for me, since
I don't wear a lot of makeup but like to use something to even out my skin tone. This product is indeed sheer but left my face looking way too shiny--I wore it for a total of 3-4 times before I realized it was my foundation and not the summer humidity that was giving me a greasy look. Now it sits at the very back of one of my makeup baskets.

I really like the quality of this foundation. It didn't break me out, provided natural coverage and felt like I wasn't wearing foundation, but the color just isn't right for me. I bought the beige and it is a bit too dark and the next one down was too light. Maybe I'll try the lighter one again. I like the product though!

For me the big attraction of this foundation was the sunscreen, SPF 20 with avobenzone as an active ingredient. I have never been able to take advantage of foundations with broad spectrum sun protection because most of them have titanium dioxide as the active sunscreen ingredient, which breaks me out. In fact this is the first and only foundation I know of that uses avobenzone. So I was really excited when I heard about it. I had a hard time finding the CK cosmetics line but finally found it at a Nordstrom in Dallas.
Unfortunately this foundation was not quite what I had hoped for. Well it wasn't close to what I had hoped for. When they say sheer coverage they mean sheer, this is really closer to a tint than an actual foundation. Unlike Px Unmakeup (may it RIP) it makes no attempt to control oil. I wasn't terribly impressed with the color selection--there's something to be said for neutral colors but these colors are almost too neutral--but on the other hand the coverage is so sheer you can get away with a shade that isn't an exact match.
The pump packaging is nice and I wish more companies would go to this type of packaging.
In the end I did keep my bottle but I use it as a tinted moisturizer-type product, not as a day-to-day foundation. It does come in handy on those days when I don't want to go out completely bare-faced but don't want to take the time to do a full face, either. I'm still waiting for a good foundation with reliable sunscreen.

I received this as a sample in the color bisque. I am realatively new to liquid foundation (like the convenience and the ease of application of compact), and I like sheer coverage so I might be biased. This foundation is very sheer for sure. And after my face warmed it up a bit, it became absolutely beautiful on my face; flawlessly enhanced, supple, even-toned, and glowy. However as many said, it feels very oily (although no break out on me) and powders on top didn't help much. This might be great for a winter moisturising foundation, but definitely not for summer. *update: This foundation turned grainy, I would not purchase this.
*update 2: I would have to give this 1 lippie because after I decided to wash this product out of the sephora sample pot after like about 2 weeks it's been in the pot, I discovered that the inside of the plastic pot all wrinkled up and became soft (and hasn't recovered since). Such strong chemical this foundation seems to be carrying!!! This is real scary, I can't imagine putting this stuff on faces anymore! continued >>

This stuff really is *sheer*! It doesn't break me out and feels really light on the skin, which is a plus. On the downside, it wasn't matte enough and made my forehead look shiny in a few hours.. Also, since this is so sheer, I might as well not bother with foundation! A tinted moisturizer actually evens my skintone out more than this.

I'm very oily, and this product ("for all skin types") was just too emollient for me. I was immediately shiny, which was a shame because I loved the texture as it went on. The beige had a bit too much red in it for my liking, but if they were to make this in a more matte finish (and I'm not a fan of very matte -- I just like it to look like skin that hasn't been dipped in grease) and stronger yellow undertone, I'd be a taker. Good coverage for a sheef foundation.

I bought it for the SPF, really liked the finish, texture, packaging etc. Went through one and a half bottles of Beige before I had to stop lying to myself and admit that I was sensitive to something in it (possibly one of the sunscreen ingredients, thought I haven't been able to track down which one). It stung around my eyes. Sigh. It was a perfect winter foundation for my combination skin because it didn't require moisturizer underneath. Double sigh. It goes on sheer, but the beauty of it is that you can layer it on for more coverage without it looking heavy. More coverage, more spf. Oh well. On to the next one. continued >>

My fave foundation thus far. Its coverage is super sheer, and works best "patted" on. The finish is dewy. I can't say enough about this. It also has a hygenic pump bottle that dispenses even, small quantities. A few caveats: dewy finish won't work on oily or combo skins, coverage is the sheerest of any foundation I've tried, and the colors are more neutral than yellow-toned. I use Buff 01, which I've heard someone say is like a MAC 20 or 25. I'd have to respectfully diagree. Being that it's the lightest color in the line, it's more like a 15 with a bit of oomph, not quite a 20. Also, 25 only comes in C, not NC, where I live, and this is not at all yellow. I've heard most of CK's foundations are pretty much straight-line neutral, and lots of yellow-toned women can't wear them.

CK's Sheer Coverage Foundation is just that, very sheer and minimal coverage. You don't even feel like you're wearing foundation, that's how light this is. Also, it's got great slip so it blends well, and there are a lot of colors to match different skin tones. The price is excellent ($29) for a high-end makeup, and it the packaging is state-of-the-art (pump bottle). Great minimal foundation, especially for those who don't like the feel of foundation on their face.
