I have been using this for years and still love it! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the smell of this gloss; I don't know why other reviewers brought that up. I really like the scent. Anyway, no other gloss gives me such a perfect, sultry nude lip as this does. I wear this gloss over a true nude/beige lipstick, with a pinky/nude lip liner and my lips become AMAZING!! I always get compliments on my lips. This gloss is pretty enough to wear by itself, if you want a subtle, natural gloss look. But if you want a glossy, nude lip - put this over nude lipstick and you'll be amazed!! Also, the tiny sparkles in this gloss are so refined, that you just get a natural, pretty glow. I don't like it when glosses have that severe, glitter look to them and this doesn't. It is the PERFECT gloss to complete your glossy nude lip look. Also, I can only get this color through the Lancome website. Some stores stock it, some don't.

I've been using this lip gloss for several years. I've strayed, but keep coming back to it.
FOR NON PIGMENTED LIPS; Use this alone and you will get that innocent sweet gloss that gives you the "there's something about her lips" look.
FOR PIGMENTED LIPS: Use this over your favorite nude lipstick (mine is Jubilee during the day time and VIVA Glam II for nighttime/smokey) and you will have the perfect nude look that's appropriate for day or night.
THE SMELL: I'm surprised people are complaining about it as the scent reminds me of Fruity Pebbles or was it Fruit Loops?

The color is nice, especially for work, but this is WAY too sticky for me to tolerate.

A word of warning: Hallucination smells awful. Its a really chemical, strong smell, so it's very off putting when you first apply it. But it does disappear eventually and the colour is worth the unpleasantness.
I can't use Hallucination by itself as its sheer, pale peachyness just washes me out completely, but on top of a neutral lipliner (like MUFE #26 or Shiseido Mauve Brown) or a neutral lipstick like Bobbi Brown's Rosy it's the perfect MLBB colour.
Like all the pigmented JTs it's moisturising and glossing properties last beautifully. I just wish the JTs I really like weren't all limited editions.

I was a little reluctant about buying this product the first time I went to the Lancome counter because of the smell. However, I went back to get some additional eyecolors and the SA let me try this one to pair with the shadows. I love it. I am AA but it shows up so pretty. A nude lip effect. I would purchase again because you can buy a cheaper gloss that you have to constantly reapply and go through quicker or you can buy a juicy tube that stays on longer. I must admit that I do notice that I am wearing it through out the day. It just reminds me to smile.

Overall a good gloss. On my second tube of this color. Have been pairing with the Covergirl lip tint, and looks great. Don't mind the fragrance, its not offensive. Gave it fours because it is a good product, but the cost is a little high. Will repurchase.

I bought this product before reading the reviews...and I actually do like this product the color is pretty shear and looks wonderful on top on a nude lipstick i use it with freckltone(mac) and it gives me a pechy pink glossy look that I have grown to love. I probably will not be repurchasing because its a simple gloss and that i can replace by a lipglass in the future. But for now I will enjoy it till the last drop....or penny.

This is more like a 3.5 rating. I don't mind the scent (I smell something fruity, like some sort of candy, I just can't put my finger on what it reminds me of). The color on me is mostly a sheer shine with very, very slight shimmer, hardly any real color to it. It adds a little extra shine over other lipcolors that looks nice. I've heard about how sticky these glosses are, and the rumors were true. This is definitely the stickiest gloss I've ever used, which I supposed makes the gloss and color stay, but it sort of felt like I was wearing some sort of coating over my lips (more than just gloss, that is). I was very aware of my lips all afternoon when I was wearing this. It was sort of odd. I received this as a gift, and I'll use it, but I won't be purchasing for myself when I run out. The color isn't spectacular enough for me to overlook the tacky feeling on my lips (and the price for a lipgloss that's just average to me).

after reading these reviews i expected this gloss to be awful...i almost gave it away but then i decided to give it a try since its color was so unique. to my surprise it was actually a very pretty gloss. i didnt find the smell to be strange at all...in fact it smelled just like another jt i had from a couple of years ago. i also dont agree that its an overly shiny gloss (compared to mac lipglass), when a minimal amount is applied it actually looks amazingly smooth. an extra bonus, the sparkles are very discreet so this gloss can be worn anywhere. i find though that my natural lip and skin color (nc 30-40) is very forgiving and i can wear almost any sheer/slightly tinted gloss and it comes out beautifully...i could see this not showing up well on very dark or very light pigmented people

This is a good gloss--and I'm sure the color would work for some people, but not for me. I really like Juicy Tubes since they have a nice smooth texture (which I don't think is sticky), and it seems to moisturize my lips, which is essential for me. And I have a Juicy Tube in another color. This smells nice, too, like a sort of cherry/grape/berry mixture. But the color is so dull and boring on my lips--it barely shows up. And I don't like the purplish-pink tint which dulls my lips. In the tube it appears to have gold shimmer, but that barely shows up. It just sort of looks like a dull nearly-clear color.
Also, I disagree with other reviewers who say this smells like chemicals. At first they might smell odd, but it's not chemicals, it's a sort of corn syrup or cornstarch cmell, and it's not really very noticeable. Mainly this smells fruity.

Weird colour, really hard to describe! It is a pinky-beigy-goldy colour. I am very fair, so every colour really shows on my lips. This is fairly pigmented, too. I like to use this while at work, it stays on for ages and looks quite sophisticated. I love all Juicy Tubes.

I got this as a 0.28 oz/ 8g sample in one of the Lancome Christmas sets. I have too many pink glosses; this is one of the few that isn't pink. The colour and the sparkles are really nice!
The smell isn't that bad, though it's nothing specific... to me, it smells like plastic mixed with some other scent. The design is simple and I quite like the slanted tip. The gloss is somewhat sticky, but not as sticky as some other glosses I've tried. Lasting power is pretty good too.
I'd like to try other colours, so I most likely won't repurchase.

A simple non-complicated gloss with a hint of pretty shimmer.A bit pricey. My hair tends to stick to it alot, and its quite annoying especially when its windy out, but it does wonders for my lips!
And about the smell, everyone seems to smell something different. From what Ive read, people have smelled coconuts, plastic container, hairdye, ointment, grape Pez,...I smell BBQ sauce, or sweet&sour sauce.
Maybe thats why they named it "Hallucination"! continued >>

Love this color on my strongly pigmented lips. I always get compliments on this color making it worth the high cost. I wear alone most of the time, and to be honest, the smell isn't bad as posted IMO.

This is such a pretty color in the tube and applied...I like to use it over lipsticks and mixed with BE minerals...it's such a neutral color that it mixes well with almost everything, and leaves subtle sparkles that are so pretty. I don't have a problem with the smell or the taste at all...it just wasn't noticeable to me. I would definitely repurchase, but only when Lancome has a GWP...JTs are pricey, but mine last forever so I'm okay with that.

One of my favourite shades of Juicy Tubes. I don't wear it on its own, since it doesn't impart much color, but instead, wear it over a long-lasting lipstick (such as Estee Lauder's Strong Coffee) and the effect is quite stunning. The smell is a bit strong, but it doesn't really bother me, not as much as some other Juicy Tubes (the worst was Bolole, a LE pretty gold-infused orange-peach with an absolutely horrible smell).

Hallucination is the first Lancome Juicy Tubes I purchased. It goes on very, very sticky and there is a plasticky scent to it! Too bad it doesn't smell more like coconut or something sweet because after a short time wearing it, my head starts to ache. In the tube, it looks like it would be a pretty light bronze color with golden sparkles. Unfortunately, after applying it on my lips, it is clear and sheer, with very light champagne sparkles. This isn't the most horrible lipgloss I've ever used, but for the price, I was expecting something with more color. On the plus side, it does last a long time and is very shiny, but I don't think I will be repurchasing this one.

I don't know what everyone is saying about the smell and taste! It smells plasicky, but not nearly as much as other ones, like Baby Doll, and the Color is adorable. EDIT - I sort of got over shiny lips, so this, and most of my other JTs and PPs got donated to my sister. If you are into shiny like I used to be, it's great, but not for me.

This is a somewhat sticky gloss with a pretty good amout of lasting power. It's a very glossy light pink on me and just gives a beautiful shine. It had been discontinued, but it's recently been brought back and I think it is a staple for any makeup collection. It's not over done and gives a clean, polished look.
