I absolutely love this lipstick. It is so pretty and on me looks like a frosty mid toned pink. Makes my whole face look alive and my eyes "pop". I love the vanilla scent of MAC lipsticks. Definitely would repurchase.

I love this lipstick, goes so well with golden eye combo's. Also I love using it as a base, then putting over a different pink/light red gloss with gold undertones!

I bought this in the middle of spring and I didn't like it much. But for fall, it's PERFECT!!! I love!!! This color is a mauvey berry pink frost lipstick, more on the dark side but not too dark. If you want a vampy look without the dark wine lip this is the way to go. I'm not normally into frosty lipsticks but this one isn't that bad.

This is the prettiest pink MAC lipstick I own. It really just is a great fit for my skin tone.

Love this!!! Tried it based on the swatch on the MAC website and even though I am olive skinned, it suits me very well. I tried it with many lipglosses over the top, and it especially looks good with my "steal my heart" (from Rose Romance) over the top.

Sequin on me (South Indian, LSF 6.5) is a very pretty plummy pink frost. I didn't think I could pull it off but layer on the pink blush - and it works!
Its a no brainer lipstick for me.
Edit - -I hardly wear it hmmm maybe Winter time...

Lovely medium pink plum color with shimmer. I am fair with cool coloring and I don't think this color is too dark for daytime use. It is a great anytime color, being slightly darker than my natural lip color. Has a nice creamy texture, but I really wish MAC would leave out the vanilla fragrance. Would repurchase.

What a pretty colour! Others have described it quite nicely, but to recap, I'd say that it's a medium to dark cool-toned plum with a pinky-bronze sheen.

The frost is not over the top, but like with every MAC frost lipstick, I need to apply with a lipbrush and not straight out of the tube to get the effect that I like.

Edit -- I think it's beautiful, but it's definitely too cool for me. It just doesn't light up my face the way warmer colours do. So, I think this shade would be better for neutral or cool ladies. I'm NC30 brown hair and eyes.

As for occasion, on me, I think that sequin is more nighttime than daytime, and more dinner party than dance club.

One point off for it being so soft that it wobbles out of the base. Seems that I have to handle my tube of Sequin with kid gloves.

This is so pretty and had been overlooked in my stash for sometime, its a really pretty go with anything shimmery deep rose with hints of pink, plum and bronze! It goes really well with Benefit Dallas blush, as its the same sort of plummy rose tone. Its like Lame but deeper and more plue and like Pink Maribu but less pink and shimmery as opposed to glittery. If you like those colors or Plastique, Eden Rocks, ect then you will like Sequin.

Sequin was the first MAC lipstick I ever tried and I always seem to go back to it. Lovely pinky-plummy color that is very flattering on me (i'm very pale with cool tones in my skin and pigmented lips), also seems to have good staying power.
It's a little darker than what I would like to wear during the day, but I have gone to the MAC counter multiple times looking for something a little lighter and I just never like anything as much as Sequin. Plum-dandy is close, but a little too purple for me.

Sequin is a great lippie. It has pink, plum and even a hint of bronze when I apply it to my pigmented lips! I have a small collection of MAC lipsticks, and currently Sequin is one of my most used. For reference, I'm a NC44, GGG.

One of the only MAC lipsticks I have repurchased-because the color goes with anything, anywhere, anytime. Almost every MAC lipstick I ever bought had the product fall out of the tube without me swiveling it all the way up. I am sure this happens to lots of folks if it happens to me everytime.

I first tried this color in a MAC lip palette. It's a nice, pinky-plummy, slightly shimmery shade that goes well with my fair/cool complexion and dark brown hair/eyes. Not a HG, but close...

Like other reviewers have said, this is a gorgeous pinky plum frost. The pink sheen is very strong on me, and cancels out the plum almost completely. It's an easy shade to wear, and I like it for that reason, but wouldn't repurchase because I doubt I'll ever use it all.
For reference, I'm a M.A.C. NW20, with freckles and hazel eyes.

Wonderful color, it's a pretty pinky plum frosted lipstick. It wears wonderfully in the winter months, when I want to get away from the pinks and peaches. This seems to work really well with cool skintones, but I am not sure if it would look good on dark / tan / warm skintones. Since it has the cool shades of the pink and plum. I would buy this again.

I'm lovin' this lipstick! It's a bit similar to Pink Maribu (Lingerie LE), except this is the tamer, every day-wear version. It also has more bronze to it. Lovely, wearable colour, I see myself wearing this quite often. It looks a bit on the metallic side because of the frost finish. Overall, great YLBB lipstick.
