Didn't like this at all! It doesn't moisturise and it irritated my sensitive skin. For such an expensive product it couldn't have performed worse!

Seems I'm gonna go against popular opinion here but I have got to report my experiences on this one! I know it's supposed to hydrate and 'make a difference' but it only sat on my skin and just did nothing but exacerbate a sensitivity which was, until I used this, under control. My guess is, it's the overpowering floral scent, which has caused my rashes. Not really something I want or need in a day cream. I only experienced this when using this particular gel-like cream. This is the only ;product I was 100% disappointed in within the origins line.

I love both the light and rich version of this cream. The rich for the winter months and this for the rest of the year. This version transform my skin even more than the rich one does. It balance out my skin, make it glow, provide moisture all day long and don't break my skin out. In addition it fade scars and calm my skin down even more than the rich version do. And my face never looks shiny or dry, just comfortable. My HG without a doubt! I'm a Origins fan for sure!

This is the most amazing moisturizer I've ever used!!! I have oily, acne prone skin that gets dried out very easily. This product has balanced out my skin so much. I've been using it for about 3 months, and it hasn't broken me out at all. I can't say enough positive things about Origins. My husband even used it : )

I have oily and sometimes acne prone skin. I regret for not trying origins line especially this moisturizer earlier. It smells citrusy, and refreshing, and has a gel- type consistency. This is best for combination oily skin and works best in combination with origins purifying organic toner. It takes about 1 minute to fully absorb and after that my skin feels silky smooth. It doesnt break me out and helps control the shine. I will NEVER use products that says it combats acne or oily skin coz those products tend to overdry the skin and just force ur skin to produce lots of oil. So far the best moisturizer ive used...i've ditched clarins and clinique toner and moisturizer as Origins is far superior.
P/s- i believe origins have change the formula of this moisturizer..was surprised to see its creamy when i first opened a new jar..but surprisingly it absorbs much better and more quickly and still gives good hydration as before...the smell has also changed- no more citrus, i dont know how to describe it but it smells like origins make a difference serum..to be honest i miss the citrusy smell!

I have very sensitive, dry and eczema skin, which is very prone to pimple outbreaks. A wrong product used will result in terrible rashes and itches.
After using this, I am very satisfied. First and foremost, there is no allergy effect. My skin feels soft, supple and moisturized. Outbreaks are also kept at a minimum. It also has a citrus fragrance which is very refreshing. I bought this at airport duty free, so the price is 20% cheaper than downtown.
So far I have not find a con factor. Nonetheless I will continue to monitor my skin condition.

I have very oily, acne prone skin. I believe I have found the best moisturizer for my skin! I am using the one for oily skin (I believe this moisturizer is sold in two different formulas-one for oily/combination, and one for dry). I use this at night after an acne topical medication and when I wake up in the morning my face IS NOT OILY at all. This is the first moisturizer to actually balance my skin!!! I have tried moisturizers where I would wake up with super oily skin. However, with this moisturizer it gives me the most comfortable, smooth texture. I will definitely repurchase! I have been using this every night for 3 weeks.
PROS:
-gel to cream type consistency, easy to blend
-smells fresh
-absorbs completely into skin within 5 minutes
-smooth, silky finish
-moisturizes throughout the night/day
-does not contribute to my breakouts
-natural ingredients (no parabens, mineral oil, etc.)
CONS:
-jar packaging
-price

i liked the texture, i liked the smell... but having reverse effects on my skin, so not worth it. By day three it burned my skin when i applied, created bumpy texture on my cheeks, and dried my skin out. So sad, thought it was going to be "the one".

Expensive jar full of silicones which did not moisturize or improve my skin texture, complete waste of money. I wake up the next morning and my skin feels dry with a weird silicone-y plastic feel.

I love the smell of this, but this is not a fav for me. Although it has a gel like texture that suposedly makes it lightweight, i dont feel like my skin has absorbed it. It feels as though there is a light film over my face.

I was using Vichy for 5 years and didnt really change because of their thermal spa water in the ingredients...
Then I became aware of Origins and how its 'natural'. So I tried their Make A Difference line.
Its been good so far. and has a really refreshing scent. Very moisturizing ! Would definitely repurchase.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I've been using it for 4 months and it definitely has a "rejuvenating" effect which I love: my skin feels even, plump and healthy. I also love how it doesn't cause me to break out or contain parabens or pthalates!
But I don't quite understand why Origins list it under moisturizers on their website. It doesn't even say the word "moisturizer" on its jar. If find that it does nothing for dry patches on my face! I could layer it several times over a dry patch and it does nothing for it. So instead I use it as a serum, or treatment, under my other moisturizers instead of using it alone. I've recently been using it under Vitazing and I find it helps create a smooth base that helps the Vitazing go on evenly.

I tried this product based on the good reviews here, but I should have known better. I was looking for a light moisturizer that wouldn't hydrate and soften, but not make my combo (+ irritable during this cold winter) skin oilier. Another issue I have it breakouts, so finding a moisturizer that does it's job without causing more issues is a difficult task.... still. I thought this would fit all of my specifications, but alas... After two mornings of use, when I removed my makeup after the second day, I had patches of red, irritated skin and red painful bumps in places I rarely break out (temples, cheeks, forehead & neck). I'm blaming either the essential oils or the silicones that were too much more my skin. Maybe both? Sensitive skin folks, proceed with great caution. continued >>

I bought this upon recommendation from a sales associate when looking for a cream that was (carrier) oil-free, but suitable for slightly winter-dry skin. Make a Difference is silky and hydrating to the touch, but absorbs almost instantly. I've used their Perfect World moisturizer in the past and it was incredibly greasy when compared to Make a Difference.

I've used this day and night for three weeks, and although it smells and feels lovely, and hasn't caused any breakouts; it doesn't do much to sort out dry patches. Make a Difference works best as intended--under a separate moisturizer--so that's what I've been doing. I've seen some improvement since adding this to the routine, and I think that has more to do with the added moisture (my main moisturizer wasn't performing) than the beneficial extracts and such.

There's no added fragrance in Make a Difference, but it has a citrus scent (which I like) due to the ingredients; these include a number of essential oils, which can be irritating for people with sensitive skin and/or allergies. Just a warning.

$36? Not the best value as a treatment or serum--you could find something with a more intriguing ingredient list for a similar cost or less. But this may be very nice as a standalone night cream for people with oily skin, and as a summer moisturizer for those with combo-oily (which is how I intend to use it).

I have serious love for Origins moisturisers in general - their cleansers and creams are second-to-none. But this is the best of all of them, with APW moisturiser a close second. It looks like it's gonig to be thick and like it won't absorb - in consistency it feels almost like Night-A-Mins. But I just use a 5-pence piece worth for my whole face, it sinks in instantly, and has left my skin smooth and supple all summer. I am especially excited about trying this out in winter - last year I had a hideous time with patchy, flaky skin (it was the coldest winter the UK had in MONTHS) but I think this one will see me through.
I apply after APW skin serum and my skin still feels moisturised, with a dewy glow, hours later. I sometimes don't even bother with foudnation, and that says just how confident this makes me.
Yes it's relatively expensive but so are most Origins products and they last ages. And smell good. And don't have any rubbish in them. A definite repurchase!

This is hands down my favorite moisturizer!!! I have been searching a long time for the perfect moisturizer that is oil-free, non-acnegenic, soften and improve skin. While the other moisturizers I've tried are ok, they don't make me go "wow". Before I started using this moisturizer, I broke out from a serum I've tried (from another brand). At first I was skeptical to try a new product, but this moisturizer cleared up my acne really quickly, and has made my skin softer than it has ever been! Also, my skin has stayed perfectly clear ever since its use, and during that time of the month, if I'm unlucky I'll just get one tiny unnoticeable pimple. If you haven't got this moisturizer, go and purchase this already!!! It is worth every penny, my HG!!!
Update: My skin has never been better since its use and I now leave the house comfortably without foundation and receive compliments on my skin. :-) My mom and sister have started using this too!!

I tried the product on my hand and I loved the results after a few minutes. I told myself. Hmmm Why Not? I went on a trip and decided to use this product compared to my DHC *Holy Grail* After first application on my face it started to tingle. The next day the texture of my face got bumpy and irregular. I usually have nice soft clear skin. This product made me breakout:( DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU HAVE SUPER SENSITIVE SKIN! Ugh I'm so very disappointed now I have to detox my face and I hope the skin isn't ruined. Poor skin on my face it's all burnt, bumpy, red, and gross! HATE HATE HATE this product!
