I was in YR again earlier this year and bought two tubes of this on a whim (I wanted to exchange my points since I m a member), since their products never seemed too good to my taste. I used the whole thing up in two months, splitting it with my mother. We thought this was a very bad hand cream. Unlike the ones we use from japan with urea, this one sits on your skin, gets everywhere, and smells too strong. It counteracts with your perfume and makes everything smelly. I didn't quite like it...Ah I wish there was something useful to buy at YR other than their incredibly expensive perfumes...

Good stuff. Moisturizing without being greasy.

Well, I recommend this hand cream to every one who has extremely dry hands like i do, who doesn't have much dryness might feel to heavy and oily, but like i said in extreme cases will feel like heaven, it feels like if your hands scream tank you every time you use it, it has a natural smell and a very rich consistence

This is not a product for day wear becouse the texture is very rich,is more for night time.I really love the delicate parfume and the great buttery texture, this is soo rich and nice for my very dry hands.
I am person who wash, clean and do everthing in my house without gloves,my hands are dry becouse of the hard water and detergent. If i would remember to wear gloves..
This product is perfect to cure my hands !
Is a very good product and good price!

It's a very average hand cream. Its rather light and isn't enough for harsh winters. It should be ok for warmer climates. It absorbs very fast and the smell is, well, I don't mind it but some people might.
I wouldn't buy it again because there are a lot of better products out there.

I had a coupon so I decided to use it for this cream as it has so many rave reviews here, and I was out of my beloved L'occitane Rose Velvet hand cream (which is HG btw). Well to my surprise, I didn't like it at all though! It's such an average product. I can't believe the glowing reviews about it. First of all, the smell..it's kind of herbal, but not a pleasant one - at least not to my nose anyways. It's kind of greasy in texture, I don't believe it moisturizes even a bit. Instead it just sits on top of my skin. If a hand cream doesn't moisturize enough it's garbage material for me. Sorry YR but you didn't surprise me again.

Very very great product! Gives my skin the right amount of moisture it needs. I apply this last in my skin routine. The smell is great too, I love how soft this cream is!

Been using this hand cream for a very long time. It moisturizes very well and honestly, you can't beat the price. Definitely recommended!

This is a great hand cream, I've already gone through 2 tubes of it. It has a great consistency, not too thick and not too thin, it absorbs fast, and smells great. Some Yves Rocher products are hit and miss, but this one's a keeper!
Edit July, 2010 - I'm still repurchasing this cream. This and Nivea Soft are my favourites.

I had this cream (called Arnica) in it’s original pale green packaging years ago and I was not 100% convinced about it. I did not like the smell nor the moisturizing power.
Well, I happened to buy a tube in the Christmas packaging around Xmas time and I just opened it last week to try. - truly nice - Well... I was amazingly surprised!!
They must have changed the formula, as it is very fine in moisturizing, the scent is great!! And it is (as it was) not greasy & easily absorbed.
It will not become my HG hand cream however, (I have already find mine! It’s the 20% Shea Butter Hand cream by l’Occitane) but it’s a good, cheap product good to keep in your purse or in your office’s drawer!

I got a tube of this lotion in a special Christmas edition packaging. The packaging is beautiful, with a red and silver winter theme complete with snowflakes and reindeers. :) The cream itself is pretty good. I wash my hands a lot and they can get dry very quickly if I don't apply hand lotion several times a day. This lotion is fine to apply when I have been diligent about the hand cream application and my hands are feeling fine. It absorbs quickly and makes my hands pretty smooth and soft. The scent is clean, vaguely powdery and pleasant. However, when I have neglected my hands or they are suffering due to weather conditions, this cream doesn't cut it and I need to use my heavy duty hand creams like TBS Hemp or any TBS butter. In brief, this is a good daily hand cream but not a miracle by any means and it will not be sufficient if your hands need serious TLC. I am happy with this Christmas edition cream, I love having it on my desk at work and seeing the snowflakes and deer but I doubt I would repurchase it in its usual packaging.

I really used to like this product before Yves Rocher changed the formula (in 2006 I think, it used to be in a green tube). I find that now the product doesn't moisturize as much as it used too, even though it's still decent. But the major problem I had was the new scent. Way too flowery (or something similar) for me during hay fever season. I had to stop using it since it made me sneeze. I finished the tube when the allergy season was finished and never bought it again. So if you are sensitive to frangrances, I suggest you test this cream before buying it.

This is everything I love in a hand cream - moisturizing, quick absorbing, non-greasy, and CHEAP! I scored two tubes of these for $2 each during the YR spring sale. Although there is a faint weird smell to this (smells like baby wipes or something), it dissipates quickly. I waited nearly 3 weeks for my friggin' YR order to arrive but if I were able to get these on sale again I'd definitely stock up!

This is a great daily hand moisturizer. It has a nice light scent that quickly fades, leaves my hands soft and moisturized without that greasy feeling.

This cream has a very pleasant, light and fresh floral fragrance. It moisturizes as well as any other handcream I've tried - if not better. The tube (75ml) is big enough to contain a good deal of product, yet small enough to carry with you in your purse. I would definitely purchase again!

A good everyday moisturizer. It absorbs really fast, leaving hands soft and smooth without any residue. Contains arnica, which is a natural sun-blocking ingredient (weak protection alone, but it adds up with a good sunscreen). However, it is suitably for normal skin only. When my skin was dry and sensitized, I needed something more emollient.

This was on sale for $2 and I thought I'd give it a try. Didn't care too much for the "fresh" scent but it is a decent moisturizer. The second ingredient listed is urea, which is great at binding water to the skin. Wouldn't purchase again as I can see the scent annoying me with long term use. Contains parabens.

This is a wonderful hand cream. It's not at all greasy, but it really moisturizes, and also really protects my nails and cuticles. I'm not a huge fan of the smell, but it's not bad.

I recently asked my co-worker to borrower her hand cream. I got hooked. This is the best hand lotion I've ever used. It's not greasy, but moisturizes well without leaving an oily film on my hands and absorbs well. It last long too, even after hand washing. I keep one tube by the kitchen sink, one in the bathroom, one by my computer at work and one in my purse. Will definitely repurchase. Yves-Rocher has it on sale most of the time.

A very nice emollient hand cream. Comes in a rather small tube, so perfect for travel, car, desk, etc. Very neutral fragrance. Nice.
