A friend enthusiastically recommended this as a nice deep blush for fall, but at least so far I'm not thrilled.
I expected "Gash" to have more pinkish undertones, but it looks quite brownish to me.
I think that "garnet red" would be a good description of this color. If that color works for you, by all means try this. It's smooth, richly pigmented, and has a considerable amount of sheen(also not good for me in a blush).
Since the color doesn't work well for me, I won't buy this again.
BUT it's a great product that would probably look super on others.
If garnet red is your color, this is likely your blush!

I know, I know... Gash is an eyeshadow. But I also use it as an awesome blush, and wanted to spread the knowledge in case anyone wanted to experiment. Since it is such a heavily pigmented shadow, you have to use a good, not too dense blush brush and should lightly and evenly distribute the blush around the brush before applying to the face (to avoid the none-too-popular bozo look). When applied properly, it is a long wearing splash of color to brighten up your face. Try it next time you have a chance!
