I have been using Dove original clean scent deodorant since it first came out in the late 1990s / early2000s. This is the only scented deodorant that I like, it seems that all of the other ones (Degree, Secret, Lady Speed Stick) smell way too strong & make me sick. My favorite is the Ultimate Clean Original solid, but I think they stopped making it. The only have the regular invisible solid in stores, which does leave some white marks. However, it goes on smoothly, doesn't sting, and it does an above average job on wetness and odor. You might need a second application on hot days or after exercise. The only real reason why I buy this deodorant in my years through middle, high, and currently college, is because it's cheap. This deodorant comes in a bundle with 2 deodorant for around $6.
I usually buy the Original Clean or Fresh. Both smell fine, they're not overpowering and makes me smell clean. Smelling clean and fresh is very important to me.
On regular days when I use this, I won't sweat under my underarms because of this. It really does what is claims-an antiperspirant.
However, when there is something happening. For example, a presentation, a date, or just anything that causes me to stress, I'll sweat through this deodorant. This doesn't stop my stress sweat unfortunately and the cloth under my underarms will feel slightly damp from it. That's very unappealing.
But, considering my budget and that I've been using this for years without any problems of irritations, and it does stop my sweat on regular day activities; I'll keep buying this. I do, however, change it up a bit and use a different brand sometimes (Secret).

The dove deodrant is really great, how it smells really fresh and cool! :) i really also like how they make the scent smell like soaps. love love love this deodrant and will be constantly getting seconds and thirds!

I buy this deodorant time and time again because I love the fresh smell. While it doesn't block sweat, it prevents any unpleasant odors. It goes on smooth and lasts throughout the day.

I am going to have to try to be fair on this one since I have been a long time user of Dove deodorant. I love the scent. Its not too overpowering. It glides on smooth and looks as if it gives a translucent cover, BUT as the day goes on, it will rear its head up and stain your clothes at the arm pit area white. If you don't take care of it ASAP, there will be a grease stain permanently stamped onto your clothing. I had a few nice dark color dress shirts ruined because of this. I don't want to have to feel like I have to wear a low cut t-shirt underneath my clothes so that I can avoid this, but again, I have used it for so long, and loved the scent. I have tried others, but they were either worst then Dove, or just doesn't cut it in the scent department for me.

I've been using this a few weeks as I started to experience irritation with aerosol deodorants. It works really well for me, fresh scent all day, improved look and feel of underarms and it weirdly seems to have slowed regrowth! Will buy again

I think this product works very well. There's always going to be some sweating with regular deodorants, but this stuff smells fresh the entire day. It's the only deodorant I've tried that doesn't start to smell bad and full of chemicals after a few hours. The powder scent is not my favorite, but it's good enough.

While I find that this does a good job at preventing odor, it doesn't work as well for me at preventing wetness -- and I don't sweat very much. On top of that, it feels a little greasy upon application, and the feeling doesn't seem to fade. I'm also not a fan of the scent -- it's not disgusting, but it smells a bit off to me. It's just not the right product for me, and I won't be buying it again.

This is one of my favorites.
I like the smell, it's so fresh and clean! It lasts all day. I don't sweat that much under my arms but I feel it works. It leaves my skin very soft and "powdery".
