I have this liner in kava, and I use it mainly on my eyes as a liner. I have dark brown eyes and auburn hair, and this liner is a brownish nude tone that pairs beautifully with a peachy brown makeup palette. The liner doesn't smudge and doesn't irritate my eyes. The pencil is very smooth and creamy, and doesn't "drag" at all when used on lids. Blends great, feels great, really lasts. Another good product from Aveda!

it is so hard to find a nude or natural lipliner that isn't too pale and at the same time doesn't have orange tones in it, this is as close as I have been able to come. Not too pink, not too orangy, but somewhere in between. A less rosy natural lip color. As for consistancy, I find all the Aveda lip pencils to be on the softer side, as this one is.

I also have this in Verona, which doubles as one of my favorite eyeliners -- smudged into the lashline, it makes for a great semi-natural look that makes blue/green eyes pop. As a lipliner, it's a bit dark for me in the winter, but layered under a paler shade of lipstick, it still comes through as a nice dark berry/plum.

I purchased my first Aveda lip liner plus Uruku in the color Verona. It is a beautiful plum color that can be worn on its own or topped off with lipgloss ( I've used Aveda's lipgloss in Ice and Dew {discontinued} and MAC lipglass in Oyster Girl. It doest tug it sharpens easily and is very creamy and emolient. I love the fact that it contains no petrochemicals because you do ingest your lipstick! My only word of caution is to make sure your lips are exfoliated before applying the liner because any dry flakes will show and it will look clumpy. Other than that its a great product and its one of my favorite colors.

This is a very good lipliner. It goes on smooth and is soft enough to apply easily. It is prone to leaving a little clump here and there, but overall a good product.
