This is my HG moisturizer. I have congested skin that's oily and senstive to different things. This moisturizer gives my skin a good amount of moisture but doesn't make it oily. Also it doesn't add to my skin's congestion. The packaging is very hygenic and even though its a pump every last drop comes out without you having to take off the top and bang the bottle upside down (I'm sure we've all done that with other lotions lol).
I ran out of it and when sephora didn't have it I didn't want to buy another high end brand when I knew I was just going back for the PTR. So in the mean time I used Neutrogena's oil free moisturizer and broke out with cystic bumps all over (I wrote a review on that crap too lol) So basially I will never ever switch from my PTR again as it's the best moisturizer for my sensitive oily skin.

I bought this from ebeauty.ca. I believe it was 38 to 42 dollars around there so still quite costly for a moisturizer.
Nothing special. Absorbs decently well. Softens skin. Face never feels dry with it. Decent moisturizer but not wowed by it bc my skin has not transformed with 4 weeks of continued use along with the aha/Bha clearing gel from PTR.
Can't comment on whether it broke me out or not bc I still had breakouts and I cannot solely attribute it to this moisturizer. I'm sure it's a combo of things but I personally find it too exp for mediocre results.

One of my most favorite moisturizer during the morning. It soothes, moisturizes, and leaving my skin feeling really soft. What I really like about it moisturizes my skin without the greasy feeling or looking shiny and that's my main concern. It haven't cause me any breakouts like many other moisturizers does. I'm a little hesitant about buying this product again since it's a little pricey for the amount that it comes in, but I think it's definately worth it.

I love this moisturizer. I am currently on my 4th or 5th bottle... I'm hooked! It's great for any skin type but for those of you who are oily/acne prone like me it is great for keeping your skin hydrated but not oily. It may go on quite thick but sinks right into your skin leaving it very soft. I apply this after using my clinique acne solutions 3 step system. The only con is the price. It is quite pricey at $42 USD but for me its a must have. It's the best moisturizer I've ever had (and trust me I've tried anything you name it).

I started off kind of liking this moisturizer. I have a hard time finding something that works for my oily, sometimes dehydrated, clog-prone skin.
It moisturizers fairly well, but I think it ended up being slightly clogging for me over time. It took a couple months for me to notice, but I'm pretty sure it was this moisturizer that caused the problem. It also has a slightly sticky feel when you first apply it and for some reason, it made the pores on my cheeks look huge!

I'll preface this by saying I have VERY sensitive skin. This turned my skin bright red. I know that I have a reaction to chamomile, and this contains a derivative of it. Over the course of 4 days it got worse and worse. Too bad because I know a lot of people love it, and I thought it would work for me.

Dear PTR: I love you. You are amazing. You create an oil free moisturiser, that is beautiful, and ACTUALLY HYDRATES and MOISTURISES! You calm my skin. You make it smooth. You make it glow. You aren't sticky, or thick. You absorb right in. You work like a treat after cleansing. You don't break me out, or clog my pores.
Where have you been all my life?
Smells, of nothing much. Has a slight bluish hue to it. Which is nice. I hate fragrance in a moisturiser. Am loving PTR lines so far. Also got the Anti Aging Buffing Beads... which are AMAZING as well. GAH! So great.
Only thing: Do be careful, and don't get it in your eyes. It says on the back, avoid eye area. It's ok around them, but I got a little bit in my eye... because I didn't read the back first. LOL! And it felt a little burning sensation. Nothing uncomfortable. Nothing painful. Just, like when you get some rosehip oil in it. Sort of odd feeling. Just a heads up.
Also, no SPF. But I like that... because I put sun block over my moisturiser. I find moisturizers with sun block in them usually dry out skin, or break me out. Aiming to get PTR's physical sunblock that's a power so I can use it over makeup :P SO COOL!
Will definitely repurchase.

I gave this product a try since it is marketed as oil free and I am always on the look out for a mild moisturizer for my oily skin. Well, the packaging is good - a nice pump. But, the consistency seems more like a gel than a lotion or cream. It spread nicely over my face, and unlike other reviewers, I didn't notice any obvious fragrance. I noticed, though, that after a couple of hours, my face was very oily. Since this was the only new product I had put on my face, I figured that it was this moisturizer. Even though it may be oil free, there must be something in the product that is too moisturizing for oily skin. I find LRP Toleriance lotion to be much better at controlling my oily skin and will not continue with the PTR.

I was looking for a great moisturizer that would hydrate & improve my winter skin, but that wouldn't clog my pores. This is just okay...nothing special or that effective. I think it would work alot better for someone with normal to oily skin. Plus, it's on the pricey side. This reminds me a bit of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, only slightly thicker & not as good under makeup. continued >>

This is a really good moisturizer which to be honest I was surprised about. It has a light, creamy, smooth feeling and sinks into the skin quickly. The smell is a little odd. The scent is a little unpleasant. I found I tried to avoid sniffing it because it just smells off. This does have sunscreen so sometimes it would make my skin burn a little. I am not a fan of the pump dispenser though. I could not tell when I was getting low on this until it just stopped pumping anything out. Altogether a good moisturizer that did not make me break out. It gave just the right amount of moisture without making my skin super oily. I would love to see it have a different smell to it.

This moisturizer/sunblock is just about perfect. Often, moisturizer will make me break out during the hot, humid summers here in the Philadelphia area, but not this one, and the sunblock was effective for my fair skin. I don't think it's quite rich enough for winter, but that's okay by me. Will definitely repurchase.

PROS: Comes in a kit that is quite reasonable for PTR. Works pretty well.

CONS: Have used better. Expensive.

ALTERNATES: My teens' acne skin would do better with Neutrogena's Rapid Clear line or Alba Botanica's Natural Acnedote line's softener/moisturizer for any flakes that crop up. When I'm more oily, my skin does well with Garnier Moisture Rescue Gel-Cream.

This product came as part of a kit. I was using prescription medication for my acne.
I use this in the morning and evening. This and one other product works really well with my skin. I use this as a base for my make up and also at night. For me the moisturizer feels very light. A little goes a long way. And the thing that I really like about it, is that it works great with my mineral foundation and also with cream foundation. Most moisturizers combined with my oily skin cause the make up on my face to run or start to fade. This one works great! Moisturizes my face just right and works great with my make up.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE this moisturizer! i have been using it off/on for over 3 years now and I honestly have yet to find a moisturizer I like better. My skin is veryyyy oily, sensitive, and acne prone. The only reason why I have switched to other moisturizers from time to time is because of the price tag on this one (about $42), but i have learned that other moisturizers may be cheaper but they are by no means better! This moisturizer does not leave me feeling sticky at all, absorbs nicely, does not leave a shine, does not have a strong frangrant smell, and almost feels more like a gel than a lotion, does not contain an spf (this is a plus for me because i can use this day AND night)... and and the best part, it is DIMETHICONE FREE! dimethicone is a form of silicone that is in what seems like 85-90% of skincare products.. its a real hunt to find products that don't have it, but it is important that none of my products contain dimethicone because it tends to break out acne prone skin.. anyways, i could go on and on about this moisturizer.. i love it!

This is probably my favourite light everyday moisturiser (oily/combo blemish prone fair skin). it's easily absorbed and doesnt cause break outs. you cant tell how much you have left unfortunately, and i only purchase on special. in winter i find i need more moisture.

I loved the packaging on this product, I love the little pumps! It seems more sanitary to me. The product it self was very moisturizing, and did not break me out at all, the only part I hated was how I had to wait 15 minutes before I applied my makeup, who has that time? But if you wait it's definitely worth it. If you use a lot it will make you oily but with this moisturizing only a very tiny amount is needed, and so the bottle lasts a while if your only using a small amount and not tons of it. I would buy this product over and over again and never look for another moisturizer again but it's so EXPENSIVE! So I am looking for something cheaper.

Ick. Made my skin feel...dirty. Didn't moisturize that well--and really, I don't need that much moisture. Was disappointed that it had no spf, and had the stickiest finish I've had in a while. Definitely will not rebuy, and I'm a PTR girl.

Made me break out into little whiteheads just in minutes of putting it on. Extremely sticky that I felt the need to wash my face immediately after putting it on.

I had the PTR sample pack and after using this moisturizer, I decided I love it! It's a little heavy, so I only use it at night, but my skin is so much calmer when I wake in the morning. I tried the Kinerase Clear Skin Light briefly, but came back to this. I have been using for about 9 months and plan to stick with it. Great stuff!!
