I love this body oil! I'm usually too lazy to put on lotion after the shower so I bought this to try. I put it on right after the shower when my skin is still wet. It takes a little while to sink in but when it does it leaves your skin so soft and not greasy at all. It has a slight smell but it goes away after a little and gives your skin a nice glow. I definitely recommend

Meh.. on the fence with this product. It's true it soaks right in and doesn't leave any greasy residue behind. That being said, it didn't so anything major moisture-wise for my skin, either. I still find that my Aveeno body lotion works the best. My legs get flaky and itchy bc of dryness. This product really didn't do much to help with either condition. Don't know what all the fuss is about. Also, there has to be a better way to dispense, as it can get messy.

This body oil is ok for daily use. I wouldn't purchase this if your legs are suffering from major dryness. Unfortunately, mine need a little more from a body oil than what this can provide, seeing as how I like to take scalding hot baths on the regular in the winter. This version, although fragrance free, did have a slight smell to it, but it was very faint. The oil itself is so light, you could wait until after you are out of the shower to apply and it will soak right in, will not be greasy at all. Also, it never broke me out.

I love this body oil and have been using it for years. I love to wear it on my legs and shoulders during the summer, especially after using a body scrub because it gives my skin a healthy glow. This is a great product for the price, especially if you have dry skin.

I recently started using this and I have to say, I am really liking it alot! So easy and lightweight for the hot, humid, Southern summer months! It seems to moisturize my skin wonderfully, and it doesn't take much product at all. I like to slip it on as soon as I step out of the shower, and let it air dry while doing my makeup, etc. My only gripes with this are the packaging, which can really make for a messy time.. and the fact that about two weeks after I started using, my chest broke out in huge, horrible bumps that took days to clear up. Therefore, I now only use this on my arms and legs mainly, but I won't let it stop me from using it completely. Will update if anything else changes.

Wonderful! The first time I used this, I found it greasy and smelly... But after changing to the fragrance free version and pouring it into a travel size spray bottle, I love it! I spray it onto my palms and apply it to my skin after showering. It makes my skin feel really soft and glowy.
My only complaint (besides the annoying original packaging) is that it sometimes isn't moisturizing enough for me. However, I have the worst, eczema and kp ridden skin, so I expected that. Sometimes I apply Amlactin lotion over the oil and that works fine. It'd be nice if Neutrogena came out with an extra moisturizing version though.
Question: Has anyone tried using this as an eye makeup remover? I like Shu Uemura cleansing oil for removing my mascara, but it's expensive... I want to try using this body oil, but i'm afraid it will irritate my eyes or make my face breakout.

great great great! I have dry ,sensitive skin and I hate greasy products. This is best product ever for summer . I may go with thicker one for winter though. Not greasy at all, soaks after few seconds and really easy to use. I was looking for something really fast , does not need extra time to soak and not greasy at all and i found it!!! it makes my skin silky and take the best out of it!! My skin looks like when I was 12!! ( i m 26 now) , I use mostly after bath and partly during the day if needed and it lasts long.definitely perfect , will buy again and believe me it worth to try it once specially during summer !

I really like this body oil. I used the scented version first and found the smell overwhelming (and overwhelmingly bad), but the unscented version is perfect. I use it in the summer alone for a nice dose of moisture and a little bit of sheen on my legs. In the winter I find it a little too light and use it under a heavier cream which is perfect. It is cheap and it lasts forever.

This is a fantastic summer moisturizer. Very light, sinks in well and when you go out in the hot sun it doesn't leave a film on your skin like lotion does in the humidity. I couldn't get away with using this by itself in the winter but it is PERFECT for the summer. The fact that its fragrance free means I can use it with any perfume. I am off to buy a new bottle of it this am!

I use this in the summer to give my bare legs a nice sexy sheen. I am sensitive to perfumed products so this is perfect. I also use it in the water when I soak my feet and it works wonders on the dry cuticles.
I only wish it came in spray form. Otherwise, excellent stuff, lasts a long time too!

This is a great product! I tried the scented version a while back, but stopped using it because the scent was too strong for me personally, and it interfered with my perfume. Well now I’ve discovered that there is an unscented version and I’m totally back on the bandwagon! This is so much better than any lotion, it makes my skin sooo smooth and isn’t greasy at all. I absolutely love it.
I always apply it right after the shower onto my skin while it’s still wet, and then I just pat with the towel. It’s absorbs immediately and leaves my skin very smooth and soft, I couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend that you try it.
Also, I don’t think this stuff is expensive, one bottle does cost like $11, but it lasts for a very long time since you only need a few drops, so I actually think it’s a bargain.

Although this is a decent quality product for those of us who need or desire a fragrance free moisturizer I have found straight sesame oil carrier oil to work just as well for a fraction of the price. I will not be paying Neutrogena's price for what I can get for much less in a completely natural form.

I bought this on a whim after reading the great reviews. The first time I used it, I showered as usual and then rubbed it on my body as a moisturizer afterward. It dried quickly and left my skin feeling SO soft. The second time I used it was because my entire tummy was cramping (pregnancy...ligaments stretching, etc, etc) and shortly after rubbing the oil onto my belly, I felt MUCH better! Then this morning I used a few drops in my bath and it was extremely luxurious. I also used it as a moisturizer afterward, and my skin feels so soft!!! I can't imagine not having this around. It looked expensive until I bought it and realized that a little of the oil goes a long way, so I still think this is a good bargain. My ONLY complaint is that the cap is kind of screwy...it's hard to pop up without hurting your finger or worrying that the entire cap will break.

I really love the scented version of this. However, this is for those who hate that scent. I love this on the skin especially during the summer because it adds a glow to it and makes it ultra soft and smooth. I use this right after a shower and just blend it in with my hands into the skin. It really makes my skin refreshed and smooth. I usually take a shower at night and put this on and go to bed. In the morning, I wake up feeling so soft and clean.

Lovely, light, silken oil. Much preferable to the scented version. One of the first body oils I tried (apart from when very young, when I didn't have much choice in the matter). Melts into skin.
Excellent for in- and after-shower moisturising, shaving, and make-up removal. I also happen to have used various other oils, and currently settled on a 50:50 sunflower:mineral mix, not least as it's cheaper and can multi-task as a pre-cleanse facial oil. Also, buying cruelty-free stuff.
These factors haven't affected the Neut's score of a 4: that is based purely on performance. Costs about USD 10.00 for 8.5 oz or 27.00 for a 32 oz huge bottle. Also comes in a light version, that I haven't tried.

Great stuff- have been using since college. Unscented, so doesn't clash (I do not like the scented one at all). The only gripe is that the top seems to get messed up- part of it usually breaks off. A little pricey, too. Other than that, perfect.

I love this body oil. I use it everyday after showering. I put it on while my skin is still damp and it absorbs fast. It makes my skin soft. Even though it's an oil, it doesn't feel greasy at all and it doesn't clog my pores. One bottle lasts a long time, but I'll repurchase once it's finished.

I just started using the fragrance free body oil a few weeks ago and I love it.
I have fairly dry, itchy skin, prone to body acne in the summertime. And I love to take baths, which doesn't help the dryness.
So anyhow, I put just a dab (not a slather!) on my back, upper arms, torso and legs, and it really moisturizes. It doesn't feel greasy or heavy, but the moisture REALLY holds!
I also occasionally add a bit to my bath water to help even out the dryness.
So far, I'm loving this- it's helped a lot with my itchy skin.
The fragrance free formula does have a very mild oil scent, but it is not bothersome.

First off I have very finicky skin--too little moisture and my skin gets dull and ashy, too much and it gets little bumps all over. This product is genius! I take my shower, shave, and exfoliate like crazy, turn off the water and drizzle the oil all over, furiously rubbing it in. I let it soak in for a few minutes, then I pat myself dry with a towel. Miraculously and without fail I end up with glowing and gleaming skin, sans any gross body makeup or glitter. I usually get the unscented version and add a Body Shop fragrance oil to the bottle. I love this product and I really hope Neutrogena never discontinues it or changes the formula!!

This is my new favorite moisturizer. I have fairly normal skin on my body (oily face) that will get dry if I don't moisturize daily, and this body oil supplies the perfect amount of moisture for me without being heavy, sticky, and waxy like most body lotions I've tried. I didn't realize how much I hate the feel of body lotions until I used this body oil. I also love the fact that it's fragrance-free, since I have sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling lightly moisturized and looking a bit shiny without being glittery, like when I use a shimmer lotion. Once my lotions are used up, I expect to stick with this body oil instead. I'll definitely repurchase.
