This shade has been around since at least 1984, when I graduated high school. It was a very popular shade at that time, along Pink Foil. Seems like everybody wore one or the other if you were in school back then!
I wore this back in the day, but Pink Foil was my fave. Feeling nostalgic, I tried but couldnt find Pink Foil. Bought this instead and I still like it, 25 years later! It will be great for summer with some bronzer. Yes, it is very pale but you can do a lot with it. It's very versatile. As others have mentioned, you can use liner to shift the color. It's great all by itself on me, esp. for casual days or at the beach. It's nice with gloss on top, as well. If you are very warm-toned it may not be right for you, but if you are a PPP or more neutral it will work. I am NC20, brunette and blue-eyed, and it's great on me! I bought it on sale at $6 with $2 back in extra care bucks from CVS, so it was a really good deal.
I recommend Revlon lipsticks. While MAC is my ultimate favorite brand, these are a very decent second choice for less than half the price when on sale!

I absolutely love this color! Yes, it is a frosty light pink but I love how it looks on me! It does have some gold shimmery undertones to it.

I got this only because the color looked so pretty in a tube and it was on sale - so I got it 40% off, just for USD 5.08 at Rite Aid.
I wasnt sure I will like it as my lips are pretty pigmented and this lipstick looked too light, but when I tried it, I absolutely loved it, it was almost nude pink with icy shimmer in it. It looks really nice if you are tanned and the lip gloss on top does the trick.
However, the thing I do not like about it - it makes my lips really dry and matte, and the lipstick just wears off, very fast. So I use lip balm under and exfoliate my lips before.
I am pretty pale now, so I am sure I will love this lipstick for summer!

I agree with everyone else, this looks like a beautiful light pink in the tube but goes on shimmery and almost like a silver pink. Should have payed attention to the name: SILVER City Pink. I have light-medium skin and I'm trying to like it...but its not working. Waste of money for what I was looking for. Quality is good though.

I love this lipstick. I also have one in "Real Red" and they are both great. IMO Revlon makes really good lipsticks. Next I wanna try Nude Attitude because I read Kim Kardashian wore it and it looked gorgeous! I will definitely be repurchasing this wonder!!!

Bought this on a whim without doing much research on it. This cool-toned shimmery silvered pink probably looks better on a fair cool-toned skin girl and not on a warm bronzy peach complexion like mine. It washes me out. Would not repurchase.

Sorry to say, I really hated this lipstick. It's a beautiful color in the tube and has sleek and classy packaging. But on my naturally highly pigmented lips, it just didn't show up. It just went on blotchy and frosty, accentuating every dry crack on my lips, yuck! I was hoping the coverage would at least be better, but it was very sheer and unflattering.

Beautiful shade of pink.This looked nice alone,but I prefer a lipgloss on top to bring more of pink out.I would purchase this again.Great buy for .99!!

i dont know about anyone else, but this lipstick looks HORRIBLE on me! its got a .. frosty-like finish (which in my opinion looks nice on no one). Looking at the little color sticker and peering through the cute little window at the top made me think this would be a perfect light pink, but its not. eeew.

I probably should've thought this one through before purchasing. I didn't take into consideration that it's a "Pearl" which means there's some frost/shimmer in the finish. The colour is too light for my olive/tan skin and dark features. In the tube, it's absolutely beautiful though. I don't like wasting anything, so I have found a way to slightly tone down the frosty shimmer. I pair Silver City Pink with a heavy nude gloss. It looks pretty good like that. I'm glad I found a way to make this lipstick work. Also, if you're not happy with it on your lips, you could try it as a shimmery brow highlighter.

Well, i dont really know why this produt is getting such a low mark but i absolutely love this pink! this is like a pretty shiny baby pink that lightens up the whole face colour immediatelly upon application. I like the texture of Revlon lipsticks even more than dior addict and guelain. and given the low-end price, this is definitely a good buy.

I got this because the actual color- is gorgeous. As soon as I swatched it (once I already bought it) I was in shock.
It is pure shimmer. I don't wear it and I wasted around 10 dollars on it.
It looks like concealer with a tint of pink and a ton of shimmer on your lips.
In summary, it looks weird and awkward.

The first time I tryed this, I got the same response as several other ladies in here... "way too frosty for me".. but I had really liked it in the tube, so I decided to give it a second chance :).. & I am soo glad I did.. I noticed that what was making the frost effect was not the actual lipstick, but my chapped lips :(.. so I went home,. exfoliated my lips, applyed lip balm, then the lipstick, and Voila!.. Gorgeous Lips! such amazing color! :D.. now I apply lip balm every time before I use it,.. it goes on soo smoth, I can never have enough of it.. defenetly repurchasing this again!,..

I love this lipstick it goes on so smooth! Originally i was looking for a nude color and this color was sparkly but not to much. It stays on and it is very moisturizing. I love this lipstick~

This lipstick wasn't too bad. It can't be worn alone like most people have said. I like the way the color looks on the stick, but it is a bit shimmery. I do like this lipstick more than I like many of the other lipsticks I have tried in the past.

Although I love the revlon lipsticks because they're moisturizing and have moderate staying power (for a lipstick), this color did not work for my medium skin tone. It was too light and way too frosty. I own other revlon pearl lipsticks that I like but will never repurchase this color.

I LOVE this lipstick. It's been a staple since highschool. :) I love the color and the fact that it doesn't leave my lips feeling super dry later on or smell funky. It's a nice subtle color for me :)

Frosty light peachy pink. I think it's a gorgeous shade and it lasts on my lips. I'm not sure why it's called Silver City Pink though since it's not really cool toned or really silvery. I have a thing for frosty lipsticks and love it!

This lipstick is a very very frosty light pink. It is almost sheer--no color just frost.

Looking thru the clear top of this lipstick case, this appeared to be just the color I was "jonesing" for. A light pink with strong goldy yellow undertones rather than the usually baby pinks which are all blue undertoned. Im pretty much a lipstick freak & collector so you name a brand & Ive either heard of it or have it! lol I'm aware that Revlon colors (at least in the super lustrous revlon line) have a tendency to be very frosty & shimmery so I knew I was taking a chance. I do like the color- its a (surprise) very frosty light pink with a silverish/gold shine. This color would be stunning HG material if they made it in a satin finish; the color is unique & without all the shine it would be a very lovely color. Still on my quest as this color satisfies the color I was looking for in the tube but unfortunately not on my lips.
