I like this color. It's a very shimmery light gold color. I think it's a pretty pigmented color. I don't reach for this very often because I have the single shadow and sometimes it's a lot more convenient to use an eyeshadow palette when I am in a rush in the morning. I think this is a little dark for a highlight color but it's nice for the inner half of my eyelid and blending it out with a darker shade like purple. I would purchase again if I ever ran out. I have a lot of golds though so I'm not sure I would run out of this one.

I love this eyeshadow! Everything from the color, to the finish, to the application of this product is awesome. The shadow applies smoothly and evenly. It's soft and not chalky. This shadow shows up bronzey gold on my light olive skin tone. I still think it's over priced for an eye shadow, so I would not repurchase. I got this shadow in a Sephora best of box.

I can't believe LORAC eyeshadows don't get more hype! The pigmentation is amazing, and the colours are gorgeous! I use it under UDPP and it lasts all the day! It's a bit shimmery but it is still suitable for a neutral everyday eye!

I received this eyeshadow as a Christmas gift around two years ago in a Sephora Kit called My First Makeup Kit. I remember being so excited when I got it but I really didn't start loving makeup until last year which is when I rediscovered this amazing product. I've gotta say that to this day this has gotta be one of my go-to favorite eyeshadows. I know Lorac eyeshadow doesn't get as much hype as other brands but it definitely is a great product! Serenity is such a pretty bronze champaney color, gosh! I don't even know how to describe it besides saying that it is a gorgeous color and one of my favorites. It is very pigmented so I suggest using a light hand when applying if your looking for a subtle look. I find for my skin tone, about an NW35 this works best as an inner corner highlight, it illuminates and brightens. And for a nighttime look, it can easily be paired with a matte brown for a smokey look. I mean what more can you ask from an eyeshadow? The only real problem I find from this eyeshadow is that it runs a bit pricey, it's $18 for 0.06 oz but I've been using the full size that came with the kit for about a year and it has lasted extremely well, I still have quite a bit of product left. I will definitely be repurchasing if I ever run out.

This e/s is a light bronze colour. Great for highlighting and using it on the center of the lids. Its quite shimmery and well pigmented. I use it to highlight my nose to make my skin look more glowy. This is definitely a must have eyeshadow!

This is one of the shades in the Croc palette. The Croc palette is the same price as two LORAC shadows, so if you are interested in any of the other colors in the palette, that would be the better buy. Another thing about the palette is that the shadows are square instead of round and they are the same size as Trish McEvoy shadows (and the blush is the same size as a Trish blush) so you can depot the colors in the palette and fit them easily into a Trish compact or planner or any other empty compact of the same size.
This is a gorgeous color, a very pretty pinky gold with a fair amount of shimmer. I wear it daily as a wash. The texture is amazing, very soft and silky and it lasts most of the day on me without a base/primer underneath.

My absolute FAVORITE eyeshadow, despite having many other neutral-toned shadows from brands like Nyx, Sephora and Too Faced. This is a shimmery (but not glittery) melon-peachy color that seems to work best on warm-toned skin. It goes on like silk and is easy to layered for a dramatic effect, but you really only need a little bit of it for a natural look because it's SUPER pigmented. (This is a warmer, more pigmented and more peach-y color than NYX's "Champagne", if anyone's tried that one.) It has great staying power and looks classy for both day and night looks.

Overall, despite not being a huge fan of wearing eyeshadow in general, I can seem myself using this one daily for a long, long time. It's absolutely worth the price!

Goes on even and creamy and you can keep it sheer by applying a thin layer, or go dramatic by building. While it is a lovely color with an even application, the color, I fear, is a bit too "warm" for my skin tone.

On my warm-toned friend (who I lovingly refer to as my "bronzed goddess"), the color looked absolutely beautiful and natural with fine dust of sparkly shimmery goodness. The color lasts all day, spreads evenly and goes from sheer to dramatic with application. I love that this eyeshadow offers shimmer that is very finely ground, not like some other eyeshadow where the shimmer/glitter looks and feels like craft glitter (the ones we used to use in grade school during craft period) that scrapes against the eyelids.

If you are a real cool person, this one, I feel, could be a gamble. But for the price (got it for $5 when it was on sale!), it was one worth taking.

The only thing I can kind of sort of "complain" about this product is its packaging. I feel the plastic container is rather on the cheapy side, but for the price, I cannot complain. Not only that, I own other shades by LORAC that I carry around in my purse everyday (and they've traveled in cars and airplanes with me!) and they're still all in one piece, without cracks or breakage.
Buy with confidence. You won't regret it! (That is, unless you're a real cool gal-- if you are-- give it a thought prior to purchase.)

What it Claims:
"This unique, long-lasting, non-irritating gentle formula is infused with soothing botanicals such as Calendula and Cornflower. Shade, shadow and define with this versatile range of color that can be used wet or dry to create any Red Carpet look you desire."

Claims - True or False?
1) Long-Lasting: True.
2) Non-irritating: True.
3) Can be used wet or dry: True.

Packaging:
I actually have a sample version of this shadow, as the one pictured here, which I got for free with my Sephora points. The packaging of the sample is pretty flimsy and cheap - a magnetized lid that is difficult to pull open. The packaging of the actual full-sized product does appear to be quite simple and basic. Instead of a lid that flips open, it appears to possess a screw-off lid, which you'd find on loose shadows. Has a clear top, allowing you to clearly see what shade it is without having to open it or turn it over. I cannot attest for the actual feel of the packaging or how well it is designed. Once I've purchased one, I will update.

Consistency:
The swatch posted above is used without a primer underneath; results with a primer are much more vibrant! The consistency of this eyeshadow is absolutely amazing. It's soft and smooth, finely milled, and very buildable. Although in pressed powder form, I can easily see this shadow being used sheerly over other products to change their final colouring. It is quite pigmented, and never chalky. Goes on true-to-colour with minimal applications. The shadow does contain some shimmer, but it is very understated, barely noticeable. Instead, a soft pearly finish is given, with the shimmer accentuating this finish. It can cause some minor fallout while applying, so be careful not to have too much on the brush while applying. As for the colour of this shadow, the website describes it as a light bronze with shimmer. I find this to be quite accurate; the bronze is warm and light, and can look very neutral with a hint of added interest.

Ease of Use:
Aside from minor fallout, this shadow is very easy to use due to its smooth consistency. Simply swipe or pat your brush over the colour once, and you will have enough shadow to start applying to the lid. It can be a bit hard to control how much shadow actually comes off onto your brush though, but tapping the brush before use helps to easily remove excess. Blending is very easy, and I never experience any harsh edges with this shadow. I've had no issues with removal either.

Bang for your Buck:
The sample of this shadow is 0.7g, and I've used it many times within the last year and have plenty left. The full size is listed as being $18.00USD for 1.7g. So, while it does seem pricey initially, I can easily see this shadow lasting well over a year with regular use. I find this shadow to be comparable in quality to my favourite Make Up For Ever shadows, and definitely think that it is a well priced item for the amount of product you are getting.

Final Consensus:
HG product. A gorgeous neutral shade that is sure to suit many skin tones and eye colours. While I wouldn't normally want to spend a lot of money on a shade that I could easily find at a cheaper price while still getting a good quality product, this shadow definitely seems worth the purchase. If you are on the lookout for a pretty bronze/copper with great quality, I highly recommend this shadow. Will be checking out other shadows from the brand as well!
- Pros: Very pretty colour, fantastic quality, nice finish, easy to remove and apply, well priced for the amount of product given, does not crease or fade.
- Cons: Can result in fallout while applying, could very easily find a cheaper dupe with similar or equal quality and thus may not be worth the money for some.

Overall Rating: 5/5
Price: 3/5
Packaging Quality: 3/5
Would you buy this product again: Yes.

I discovered this Lorac eyeshadow at ULTA. It is a very pigmented shimmery peachy gold with a hint of bronze...gorgeous. It looks great day or night & is long lasting. It was a pricey $18, but totally worth it. continued >>

I bought my first tub of Serenity about three years ago. This is hands-down my favorite shadow. I wear it almost daily. It's great along for a subtle look, or layered with other colors for a more intense look. It's perfect for both day and night.
This was my first LORAC shadow and since I have purchased other shades. I find LORAC shadows to be highly pigmented, long lasting, and non-creasing. Also, easy to use, sturdy packaging. I will definitely repurchase.
This is a great color for me, I have hazel eyes, dark brownish-black hair, and fair skin.

Very neutral & shimmery golden colour. The texture of this shadow is so buttery & soft (reminds me of MAC Starflash shadows) and applies and blends like a dream. I love this as an all over wash of colour on the lid to brighten my eyes in summer. Also looks good with deeper browns in the crease! continued >>

This is a great color. I wanted something fairly "natural" that brightens up my eyes without actually adding alot of color. On first glance, this appears to be a highlight color...it has a bit of warm pink with maybe a pinch of peach in a gold/silver champagne. One might describe it as a very pale pinkish copper, although I'm seeing more pink/peach than actual copper. It reminds me alot of my beloved MAC "Tissueweight" although it's slighly warmer and maybe a bit more metallic. Since Tissueweight is a HG for me, thought I'd try this too. I was very happy with it...makes green eyes pop, and has enough shimmer to light up the eye area without being terribly obvious when worn as an allover lid/crease color.. Wonderful texture...goes on smoothly, is buildable, no fallout, creamy, and long lasting. Expensive, but worth it in this case. The only disappointment is the screw on lid and the amount that you get for the money. That aside, I will purchase more Lorac shadows.

Not my favorite LORAC shade, but that may just be personal. I have slightly pinkish skin and this goes a little pink on me when applied heavily. It's only golden when applied very lightly or, oddly, when applied wet. Certainly looks different in the pot than on my face.
The shimmer is really noticeable but not frosty. In fact, this is the foundation that taught me the difference between frosty and shimmery!
One warning, it does tend to crease more on me than other LORAC shadows. It is the most shimmery LORAC shade that I own (other than Glamorous, which is an awful shade for me -- my fault, not the makeup's!). Other shades do not tend to crease, but I think that the shimmery formulas are softer and crease more than the matte formulas.

just to add something to all the great reviews about "serenity" eyeshadow.... this color is very similar to mac's "all that glitters". they almost look exactly the same except that ATG is warmer which has a TINY bit of peachiness to it. all LORAC's eyeshadows are buttery soft!

I do enjoy this color. It's very flattering with green eyes. Goes on smooth with no chunks of glitter. It's rather expensive- $18.00. I'm hoping it will last a long time- can't really determine how much is in the pot until you get twords the bottom. Wish the packaging had a flip lid instead of the screw on kind.

Another sephora sampler here. I was surprised at how much I liked this. It's a lovely highlight color, and my favorite use is under the eye. It gives a flattering look, without being overdone. It is expensive, but it's one of the few light colors I would repurchase at it's high price point. I save my $ for darker, more 'interesting' shades usually. But this just has the right subtleness to it for it to be worth my cash. Really like it!

I just bought this e/s today and it is a perfect neutral everyday e/s color. I ALWAYS pick up a blah brown color for my everyday e/s but I figured I wanted to change things up a bit and get crazy. HA HA, I know this color isn't what you call crazy to MUA standards but for a nudie like me, its sassy lol.
The color is so pleasing to me, a pinky-sandy-champagne color. It does have a shimmer in it which I also like. The price IMO is kind of steep for a mono e/s though.

I like this eyeshadow even though the color doesn't look that great on me. NYX's Champagne is a great dupe for this for less than half the price. Go for the NYX
