I LOVE this eye cream. The fact it has an SPF of 15 and does not irritate my contacts gives it kudos in my book. There is a reflective quality which gives the under eye area a beautiful glow without looking fake or cosmetic in any way. This stuff is so chock full of the latest, greatest, high tech ingredients I cannot even begin to list them all (which I normally do in my reviews.) It has definitely softened my laugh lines/crows feet around my eyes. I use something different at night as I hate to waste the SPF. The best news is I found it in Marshalls for $16. After I used it once, I went right back to Marshalls and bought the last two. I have years to go on them according to the expiration dates. The packaging is totally hygenic and easily pumps just the right amount ( you have to get the hang of this and if you initially pump out too much just use half on one eye, the rest on the other as a little goes a long way.) What a Beauty Deal from Marshals. I LOVE IT!!!

I hope to like this eye cream, but every time I slather it below my eyes it never fails to burn and sting my eyes as the day passes by. It must be the spf factor. It does hydrate the eye, and it does get rid of milia, but I don't think I can stand the teary eyes for the price and delivery. The pump always dispenses too much, and you have to really try to lightly press the pump halfway to release the product without wasting it. It does not smell good. I find that less is more on application, and the the product does spread. But I cannot even tap it into the skin, let alone touch the eye area after applying, because it will make the cream work its way onto the eyes. For $50+ bucks, it's a lot of money for pain and ok benefits.

This product is good because it contains an SPF, which is hard to find in an eye cream, and because it is gentle, since many eye creams seem to burn. However, it still leaves much to be desired -- 1) it is too shiny (might be better for someone with drier skin than I have, but it seems oily to me), 2) it leaves a distinct purplish-white color where it is applied, and 3) its pump dispenser doesn't allow for much control of how much comes out (and this product is too expensive for the amount of waste that occurs). It might have anti-aging benefits, but it's too early to say. I am going back to my Murad Essential-C Eye Cream with SPF 15. (PS -- Someone asked about a mineral sunscreen in an eye cream. Dermalogica makes one, but I have not tried it. Anyway, it's out there!)

Overall this is a very nice eye cream - it moisturizes the dry skin around my eyes well and keeps the skin moisturised the whole day, doesn't irritate my eyes or give me milia. I, too, have noticed the slight "shimmery" tint in the cream, but honestly, I don't think it makes my eyes brighter at all. I might be the wrong person to judge that though, since I didn't buy this to help with dark circles.

The best part of the cream is the SPF 15. I've no idea why it's so hard to find eyecreams with SPF! Actually I was looking for an eyecream with mineral sunscreen but that seems to be a completely impossible thing to find, so I settled with this one (if anyone knows an eyecream like that, please let me know! :)

Unfortunately I had to spend a lot of time in a direct sunlight last summer and the SPF in the eyecream really works. I didn't get any color on the area where I had spread the cream, when the rest of my face was got a slight tan.

It comes in a pump bottle which I absolutely love - no bacteria gets in the cream. It contains 14,2g/0.5oz of cream, like most eye creams.

Then the worst part... you need to be willing to sell your kidney to be able to afford it. Well, maybe not, but 40 euros for a 15ml of eyecream is a bit steep. If I can't find the eyecream of my dreams (with mineral sunscreen of 15+ that is) I will repurchase.

I've bought this product yesterday and I'm really disappointed. I had thought that it would brighten and mousturize my eye area looking at the reviews in this site, but it didn't meet my expectations. Mousturizing effect is just not enough and a shining occurs in the eye area (just the same as a normal body sunscreen), which makes dark circles more visible, I haven't observed any whitening, when I applied it. Moreover I haven't realised any improvement in the fine lines, but it's a little early for a comment about that. A little goes a long way though.
It's just a normal product, but no great results. I'll still be searching for an eye cream.
----------------------------------------------
After using this cream a few months, I've changed my mind. Mousturizing effect is well and i feel an improvement in the fine lines around my eyes.

LOVING THIS! I had been using Clinique's Stop Signs for Eyes with SPF 15, but it was really starting to dry out the skin around my eyes instead of helping them stay moisturized! So I decided to take chance on another SPF eye moisturizer - I am glad I took a shot with this one. This is doing everything that I was hoping I'd get from Clinique, but didn't. Really nice and light going on and my skin stays moisturized all day long. I will definitely be repurchasing....

This is an early review, so I will update after I continue to use this for awhile. But my first impressions are very good. A LITTLE goes a LONG way! The first time I used it I dispensed one pump and was drowning in excess! It is light, yet surprisingly moisturizing, and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue. I love that it has an SPF, although this does give it the white cast that all eye creams with SPF seem to have. I guess this does make your eye area brighter, just don't use too much because then your eye area will definitely look ghostly white! I love that it comes in a quality pump dispenser. It also didn't sting my eyes, which is amazing because almost everything does. So far, I am very happy with this eye cream and would recommend it.

I've been using this product for a while now and I really like it. I have very sensitive skin but I have not had a problem with this at all. It makes my eye area bright (not greasy at all) and refreshed looking. I have not experienced any stinging or irritation. I am not very knowledgeable about the stability of sunscreens so I cannot comment on that, but I do love this product and the way it feels on my skin. It keeps my eye area moist throughout the day and makes my dark circles less noticeable (brightening effect).

Woah! I couldn't understand all the horrible reviews below until the one right under mine that said the formula has changed. I loved this stuff. It brightened my eye area (almost looks like I put a shimmery lotion under it-but NOT shimmery-just unexplainable) It is completely moisturizing and I look so refreshed. Conceals any under eye circles. just awesome awesome stuff!!!!!

Not moisturizing enough. Leaves white traces on leads. It also is a very poor eye shadow base - even those which never creased before, are creasing with this one.

Personally, I'm just not thrilled with this product. I've sampled others with much more depuffing/firming potential. This product can also use a bit more moisturizers in it. Well, it's up for swap for whoever wants it.

This was horrible. Ended up returning it. Made my under eye area extremely DRY. Not moisturizing at all. I had to use an eye cream underneath this one. Emphasized fine lines. The only good thing is the SPF factor.

Fantastic - best daytime eye cream ever. Doesn't sting and offers SPF 15 - I love it under my Cleau de Peau concealer. The concealer wears perfectly over it and my eye area is bright. I use this during the day and Sisley Eye and Lip cream at night UPDATE: I no longer use this. I decided it is not moisturizing enough and I don't like the new packaging which doesn't allow me to see inside the container. It is also yellow now instead of white - sort of weird. I have switched to a MURAD SPF 8 eye cream which is much nicer. The Murad is much more moisturizing but still has SPF in it.

I've been using the DDF Protective Eye Cream for about 6 months and still have lots of product left. It's hard to find a good daily eye moisturizer with SPF protection. I'm so glad that I found this product...it has really made a difference in the fine lines beginning to form underneath my eyes. Doesn't do much for dark circles, but I'm not sure any product can actually help with that.
UPDATE: Had to switch eye creams. Seems like this one stopped working and I needed to switch to something more emollient to moisturize. I still use this sometimes because it has spf in it, but only over another eye treatment.

The worst eye cream I've ever used!!! It's not moisturizing at all, dry my under-eye skin out, doesn't work well with my other eye cream and makeup. I will definitely not by again!!

I didn't especially like this one very much, it was thick and pretty ordinary... just like regular moisterizer or sunscreen... nothing special... and it is good that it does protect the delicate eye area from the sun... but other than that it has no other benefits.

I like this product. It has a very light feel and is good to wear under makeup. I like a heavier cream type product for night so I've been putting another cream with this at bedtime. I like the pump bottle as it pumps out just the right size drop to use. I will probably buy this again.

Same experience as the reviewer below. If you are sensitive to eye creams in general, I would not recommend wearing the DDF w/ SPF without a mild eye cream underneath.

This eye cream is very drying! Instead of minimizing my fine lines, it emphasized them. It disappears into the skin without moisturizing at all. I think I'll use this stuff strictly as a sunblock over an eye cream that really works. Now I just have to find that eye cream...

i've been using this for about 3 months. The bottle still looks full. I love this cream because it has SPF with no scent, doesn't irritate my eyes and mostly because the skin under my eyes seems brighter. No concealer necessary. HOLY GRAIL!!!!
