This was very greasy. I didn't like it at all. I used it once and that was it for me.

I don't know why many people don't like this. This is the best eye cream I have ever tried, and yes I have tried quite some. It's very very hydrating which is what I need to combat those fine lines, it's thick which could be a little hard to absorb but it's the chance i'm willing to take for the hydration. The price is very reasonable, and it works much better than Clinique, philosophy, murad, ...etc

I wouldn't call this a cream. It's more of a balm and it's pretty hard to get any product on your fingers. My Burt's Bees lip balm is softer than this stuff! It's awful. I recently realized this gave me milia so I will never touch it again

finding this works wonders. yes, wonders on my sensitive skin. am using sometimes 2 times a day. a little greasy at first but goes right in after a few minutes. no eye makeup globs underneath. just healthy looking skin after a month of continuous use. fewer wrinkles and crepey skin is the best way to put it i guess. also use on the whole orbital area. didn't know that was a no-no. no itching, peeling, or eye irritation. usually do not buy eye creams a second time but this has changed my mind. one lippie off for being in a pot. Edit: after a month had to stop using this as it was irritating the eyes and skin. Maybe not for sensiitives after all. Great for cuticles now.

This product really didn't do it for me, and stung the skin around my eyes like crazy! I hate the fact it comes in a jar, where my fingers are going into the jar, and possibly bacteria getting into the product. Not very hygenic. And it didn't really moisturize really, just felt waxy and like a film that sat on top of my skin. I woke up the next day and I had wrinkles, where I don't have any. This dried out my skin like crazy and I will not be repurchasing this. Save your money for something else.

I'm not sure this eye cream did anything at all to be honest. It's really thick and after applying it kind of just stays on top of the skin. Doesn't absorb well at all. After a while it goes all sticky and horrible. I really like other MB products but I wouldn't buy this again.

this is my favorite eye cream. i am used to glycolic acid and as such can't feel a thing when i put this on- just rich, rich moisture (which is what i want.) i like to apply a lot, sort of like an eye mask, and let it absorb all night. when i wake up my eyes look bright and smooth. this stuff really plumps out the dehydration lines under my eyes- i thought they were actual wrinkles until i used this cream and they went away :) i DO apply this above the eye, down to the crease. i know that's a bit contentious among skincare junkies but i have only positive effects from it.
as with a lot of MB products, i'm willing to live with the tub packaging but don't love it. the price is great; $20 is a steal for a cream this luxurious and effective* when most others i have liked are in the $75-$100 range.
*as another reviewer said, its really a preventative eye cream. i am 25, so by 'effective' i mean completely banishing dryness and keeping things smooth via gentle AHA exfoliation. it can only plump out your lines, not erase deep wrinkles.

Let me preface by describing my eye situation: during the fall and winter they get extremely dry and super itchy. Eye makeup products simply don't stand a chance - my eyes get watery and eye lids get itchy that everything gets washed away in a flakey eye-goo mess. And then along came this eye cream. I wanted to wait a month before reviewing this product but I can't resist any longer - total HG for my winter eyes! I got this because the reviews below state this as being too rich or downright "greasy." These words actually attracted me - my eyes are so bad and other eye creams (and I've tried some very thick ones) simply did not work. I had to apply two layers of this on the first night (yes, it is very rich but my eyes are very very dry). My eyes were better the next day. After that I started using it during the day as well as the night (yes under my makeup) and I started to see real results. Eyeshadow glided on my now-smooth eye lid surface. I'm pretty sure I could scale back on usage after a couple of weeks but I really love this eye cream and I will never go without it. I don't think it's for everyone but if there is anyone out there that can relate to my dry eye drama, I highly recommend this stuff.
UPDATE: now that dry season is almost completely over, I am finding that when I use this daily, my eyes are drier and flakier between applications. I think my skin has gotten used to it and has quit producing natural oils on its own. So I don't use it anymore - i have replaced it with plain joboba oil (which I apply in the day and night) and I find that works very well now. I still think it's great for the winter season - it's just not a good year-round product.

I may buy again, maybe not. I got this at Ulta because I need something very moisturizing under my eyes. My main problem is fine lines, I'm blessed not to have dark circles most of the time (knock on wood). This is very emollient, greasy somewhat. A little goes a long way. Just a dab. Do not get it in you eye, but use it around crows feet and the fine lines closer to the cheek area. I did not ahve a problem with any stinging at all. But I am used to AHA's.Sensitive folks should stay away from this cream, or get a sample first to try it.
As a rule, eye cream, anti-wrinkle creams etc. Are only preventative measures for wrinkles. The only thing that will banish your wrinkles is a a facelift with restalyne and botox coming in as other expensive fixes. This cream does what it is supposed to do. Hydrates my eye area At night (this is for NIGHT ONLY) and leaves them moisturized and plump in the morning. It may be greasy when it first goes on, but after about an hour it sinks in and is less greasy feeling. By morning, no grease at all.
It's not the best night cream for eyes out there, but It's a good product for the money and it will last a long time as you need so little. I love MB products, as well as PTR. Both are staples in my skincare. It may not be HG staus, but it does what it is supposed to!

I got this as a sample and that little sample goes a LONG way considering the density of the product - I really have seen a difference in the fine lines around my eyes. I only use it at night before I go to sleep as it is too thick for me to use under my make-up in the morning.

I LOVE this eye cream. You can only use it at night because it is so heavy and oily, but in the morning you are left with a very smooth eye area that is smooth and well hydrated.
This really refines around the eye area to leave skin soft, and fine lines diminished.
You only need the tinest bit of this, so it's such a great deal that you get so much in the tub for the price. It's practically a steal.

Like others have said, the sample really does last a while. This is due to the fact I can only use it in the evening, as it is far too greasy to use during the day. However, it does feel nice for evening and seems to moisturize the eye area well enough. I am just not thrilled with this product though, so I am still looking for an eye cream that I can wear during the day. It's ok, just get a sample of it before purchasing it.

I'll start by saying I have very sensitive skin, but am concerned about aging. Unfortunately, many anti-aging products are too harsh and irritate my skin. Most eye creams sting so bad I refuse to use them anymore! This one does not sting! Not one bit! I've been using it every night for a few months and have noticed that the fine lines around my eyes have plumped up. I've only had the sample jar, and it's lasted my about 3 months. It's so emolient that a little bit goes VERY far. Will most definitely purchase the full size product when I am done with the sample.

Fabulous product! I use it every night and a jar lasts me for about a year. After a couple of months I really noticed a difference in the lines under my eyes. Highly recommended!

This cream is very nice . It didnt burn my face or irritate my eyes. It gave my eyes a much brighter and healthier look after one overnight use. I have very sensitive yet combination skin, so the fact that its dry in the areas under my eyes is probably why the oils in here moisturized well. I have a few tiny sun spots as well and in one application they were faded using the sample. I would totally buy this product.

This was one of the only night eye creams I have used that did not sting my eyes immediately (I'm talking to you L'Oreal serum) or sting them w/in a day or so of using. It feels nice going on and my eye area actually feels soft. I have not used it long enough to judge any anti-aging claims, but I am in it more for the moisture and antioxidants. I am 35. The skin around my eyes do look much less crepe-like
Also, two side bars:
1) Please note the Mario Badescu Glycolic Eye Cream is to be used ONLY AT NIGHT. It even notes this on the jar. It is heavy and meant to do its stuff over night while you sleep. Just like i save my Aquaphor uses for night time...I do the same with this. Both are great, but not meant to go on before leaving the house or putting on make-up.
2) I have yet to ever find a "miracle" product that will make my fine lines and dark circles disappear...heck, I can't even find the perfect concealer to do that! No eye cream is going to make your eyes look 20 years younger. And to truly test if an eye cream is helping with fine lines, you have to give it at least 3 -6 months. Please don't say it didn't do anything for you if you have only used it for 2 weeks.

I like the effect this eyecream had on my eyes when I used it at night, but it is incredibly oily/greasy. There is absolutely no way you could use this during the day and still keep any kind of eyemakeup on without looking like a raccoon. I don't know why they recommended this one for me, I have combination to oily skin, which I let them know about, but I'm over 35 and I'm worried about the signs of aging, even though I've protected my skin pretty well and don't have that many lines yet. My eyelids are also very oily. This cream has a slight softening effect on the eye area after using it for a week at night. Still, I like my Avon Clinical better and I like Neutrogena Visibly Firm eye cream even more. I tried the Hylauronic Eye Cream that my DH got in his sample set and it was just ok, it was not as greasy and definitely more usuable but I didn't notice much of a difference with it, either. I'll stick with my Neutrogena. I really don't need that much oil around my eyes- even though I like the effect this has. Maybe in 10 years when I'm dryer (*if* that happens!) and more wrinkly I will need something like this, but for now, no.
