For this price, I'm disappointed that I seem to have bought a moisturizer that just doesn't do a heck of a lot. I guess it's supposed to be 'lighter' since it's the lotion version of a product which also comes in a heavy cream. (I picked the lotion, because I don't like the unsanitary aspects of dipping my fingers into the same cream over and over.) But my skin is pretty dry, (in combination with greasy at times--don't ask me how!) and this doesn't seem to be doing a thing. If I was going to buy Estee Lauder again, I would go with the cream to see if it worked better. Or to be realistic, I think I'm actually just going to try another product from a different line!

Decent moisturiser for summer. However, everytime I use it I seem to breakout. I've tried using it regularly on several different occasions and pimples seem to pop up. I have combination skin which is not particularly sensitive so I'm not sure what my skin is reacting to.

The only cosmetic counter moisturizer that I thought to be of great use is fairly decent. But I use it mostly during the summer time as I found that it doesn't do as much as I had expected in the winter time these days. Maybe it's my skin, but I had already bought a 2nd bottle, so it means it worth the investment if you have a bit of cash on hand.

I received a sample of this when I purchased my Idealist. I have only used it a few times but when I did, it left my face feeling moisturized and soft even hours later. I did not break out from it during the time I used it. Not sure if I would purchased full size but it's not a bad moisturizer.

I've had very good luck with this moisturizer and am sorry to hear other reviewers have not. For me, it's an excellent light moisturizer, perfect for summer. I pat it on over Idealist Skin Refresher. It's about 10 hours since I put it on this morning, and my face is very soft and smooth to the touch. As with other moisturizers, I use sparingly and pat on. I believe using too much moisturizer and rubbing it in may cause some of the skin problems people experience. Less is more.

Melts into skin right upon application & leaves no oily residue. Didn't like the gel texture very much because it pills under sunscreen and/or makeup. continued >>

I usually love Estee Lauder products. I usually love very moisturizing products for my very dry chin and cheeks. Ohhh, but not this product. EL 100% Time Release Moisture Lotion has this concept: an "AquaSphere" formula is supposed to first provide your skin with an immediate moisture rush, then a time-release moisture reserve continually delivers moisture to your skin for up to 12 hours. I can say that when I originally tried this product, I loved the feel of it - it plumped up my skin almost immediately and made my skin feel very very soft. Oh, but that was just the calm before the storm... bad news is that it broke me out :-( I think this "time-released moisture" concept is a great idea, but there seems to be ingredients in this product that are not for the sensitive nor break-out prone -- at least not for me.
