One of the few "nude" lip colors I can pull off without looking like a corpse.

This is my MLBB lipstick! It matches almost perfectly with just a little hint of pink and warmth. Perfect for every day. I use a balm with this under and overtop and it's perfect. Has that nice mac lipstick smell too :)

This is a great shade for everyday. My only complainat is that it's formulated to be quite dry. I need to wear lip balm underneath and as well as a clear gloss on top. Still love the shade.

I love the colour of this lipstick, it's pink yet nude enough for me to wear during the day, however I will never buy this again. I dries out VERY fast and feels grainy after a while... it's really gross. I find MAC to be OVERLY heavy and will most likely never purchase their product again.

LOVE this color! I've finally found a MLBB lipstick! Faux is just a shade darker than my lips and it really enhances them a lot! I've never been able to pull off the nude lip look because I'm really fair and I also have really light lips, so I usually look dead without lipstick (lol). I'm not a huge fan of gloss either, because I don't like the "goopy" feeling and my long hair somehow always gets in my face. That's why I love the Satin formula because it's not sticky. For pale girls like me who want to try a nude lip look without being washed out, definitely try Faux!

I am a blue eyed NW10 (NW20 when tanning from a bottle).

this lipstick looks very MLBB on me, as my lips are naturally a very pigmented mauve. I love the creamy finish, and wear this often. Midimauve looks very similar on me, except more brown. So I prefer Faux.

Where was i without faux?.... such a lovey dovey shade of muted pink mauve,and its not nude atleast for NC -25 skintone its a muted neutral shade as some reviewers rightly pointed out.I am glad i talked myself into buying this gorgeous shade, and yes its similar to modesty (my other favourite), but this lippie is in a league of its own...very soft, melts with your natural lip color/ merges with your natural lipshade and gives that dewy soft look that i wanted to achieve from brave but was sorely disappointed.This color is a hidden treasure in the Mac lipsticks and deserves a raving review.Its not chalky and pasty but gives that oomph to your face.Not death beige nor does it wash you out but a beautiful soft pink with mauve undertones which are not purple at all,the lipstick is deliberately kept mauve to give it that intensity and depth otherwise it would be a flat bubblegum pink as kinda sexy appeared on me.Anyways i like it in satin finish but i wish it was in amplified finish,as satin finish is a bit drying though the satin formula atfirst feels moisturizing but gradually becomes dry.With lipbalm under it the color changes into a rich muted pink and to further enhance the color i pair it with clover pink lip pencil by body shop and i am good to go.The color looks unique alone as well, am so pleased with my purchase thanx to all the reviewers especially spacedoll, trashydoll, cmlove for making me select this wonderful shade of pink mauve.

Very pretty nude pink, very opaque, but a little drying. I find satin and matte formula lipsticks to be a little uncomfortable on my lips. This color has no brown in it at all which is great for cool toned girls. A very close dupe for this is NYX black label in dusty rose.

This lipstick is the most interesting lip color. It's like a nude pink, but it only leans slightly pink. Although it's a nude, it doesn't lean brown at all. I can wear this with MAC Plum liner and a clear, slightly tinged gloss. Or, I can use this with a nude gloss, like MAC Viva Glam V.
