I started using this five months ago. I filled out the questionaire on their site and this product was recommended. I do not like it at all. It leaves a weird film on my skin so I HAVE to use a toner, but the toner they suggested was too mild. It doesn't remove my foundation (I use revlon colorstay, or sometimes bare minerals). I thought it might make a good eye make-up remover since it seemed so gental, but it won't even take off mascara.
I get random breakouts so I'm never 100% sure if it's from a product or not, but I feel lie I had a few more than usual when using this.

This is especially great for those with dry skin. I find that that cream rehydrate my skin and leaves it feeling soft and moist. I usually follow up with the cucumber toner.

I don't like this one bit. It is a very basic non-drying cream cleanser that might be something to try if you have very dry skin but to me with normal to combination skin it just feels wrong on so many levels. The colour, the texture, the sheen to it reminds me of cheap hotel soaps and so does the scent. It feels like a thick, oily film on my skin when I wash with it and afterwards I feel the urge to wash my face properly again. Not even my make-up remover oils do that do me! So, overall, even if it does not break me out I would never, ever dream of actually purchasing this. Horrible!

This worked good and my face didn't feel all dry after words. It was gentle and it smelled good. I remove my makeup first though so that it will cleanse better.

I'm a regular user of MB's Enzyme Cleansing Gel which I alternate with the newer Acne Facial Cleanser. I use the Cucumber Lotion as my toner.
I'd had some skin issues in the past few months, primarily breakouts that were unusual in frequency. I thought I was either too oily or that my skin care regimen was no longer working. Happily, a change in my diet to low-carb has not only cleaned up my skin but strengthened my nails. Go figure.
The point? Glad you asked. When I find cleansers that work well I am hesitant to change. But with my face so clear, when my latest MB shipment came I decided to experiment and try the large sample of Cucumber Cream Soap.
The verdict, at least initially, is that I like it very much. It has little scent, is definitely creamy, and doesn't leave a film like the Orange Cream Soap did. It is a little moisturizing, which I find to be nice in the winter. I will use it on and off for a little while to see if there are any detrimental effects, but for now I think it's a keeper that I may actually purchase in the future.

I've been using this cleanser for a couple of weeks now, since my skin has become more dry than usual, even for the winter months. I must say, I really like using it, in an old-fashioned, cold cream sort of way. It's helped to get rid of the fine dry lines around my eyes and the grody flaky patch on my cheek. Looking at the ingredients, though, it looks more like a facial moisturizer than anything else. I find that it does leave a residue on the skin when I rinse it, so I have to use a toner (badescu keratoplast toner) afterwards, but every other cleanser I tried that rinsed more cleanly aggravated the dryness. I'm not crazy about the packaging - I wish it was a pump, but that's neither here nor there. I suppose I'd "buy" it again, although I get MB products free where I work.

This is an interesting cleanser for me. At first, I didn't think I liked it. Many reviewers commented on the "light" scent, but I think it is a very overpowering perfumy smell that lingers. And when I say linger, I mean an hour later I thought..."what is that strong, old- woman-like perfume smell? Oh, yea, it's my face cleanser". Also, it doesn't rinse off very clean, at least on me and it doesn't take off much foundation (nothing that a toner can't fix). But after using it for two weeks, I have to say that my sensitive, red face looks much improved. It seems more radiant and smooth and less red. Also, it is very nondrying, which is hard to find for sensitive skin. I can get past the scent for something that works so well. I highly recommend!

Similar to the Seaweed Soap in consistency. I prefer a cleanser that leaves a clean feeling. This left a bit of residue.

Feels really gentle, and (on me, at least) rinses clean-- way cleaner than I thought possible for a non-foamy product.
After a couple weeks, though, my skin started to feel like it had a little film on it. It would probably work better for someone with dry skin-- mine is very sensitive but more normal/combination.

So far I really like everything from this line. I like the simple packaging and the fact it's a luxury brand with a fairly low price. I really like the simple, minimal ingredients too. This is the perfect cleanser I have been looking for - gently removes my makeup and rinses cleanly. I wash 2x in the evening and follow with the seaweed toner, then moisurize. In the morning just splash with water and use the toner again, then sunscreen. Nothing to irritate here. I got the cucumber one because I love anything with cucumber, but see there are several "cream soaps" that seem similar. I am tempted to try them all but why mess with a good thing.
*** Update 6/27/07 **** I finished the bottle & tried using a different cleanser but it didn't work as well, so I purchased a second bottle and am happily using it. Non-irritating, gets off makeup, rinses clean. Can't ask for more, and re-purchasing skincare is rare for me.

i was looking for a regular cleaser to use every day, and i really wanted to like this cucumber cream soap, but overall i think it was a big mistake for me. i'm normally not sensitive at all to any type of cleansers/creams, etc. but after using this for a few days, i all of a sudden noticed a few blackheads, which i get once in a blue moon. after some research, i found out that it might be the stearic acid that's in this product, and is known as a pore clogger apparently. although the texture was very nice and the scent and color as well, the cream didn't seem to wash off completely.

I received this as a sample a while ago and loved how radiant & clear this and the Special Cucumber Lotion made my skin look & feel. After that I wanted to get samples of the other Mario cleansers, but nothing at all compares to the Cucumber Cream Soap. It's mild yet veryu effective. I just bought a regular sized one today and not only is the packaging great, but the price was so cheap! Wonderful, wonderful product. continued >>

I've become a huge fan of this cleanser in recent months. It started with the small sample bottle I received from MB a year ago. I was highly impressed with how gentle, soothing, and creamy the soap was. I purchased a full size bottle and have been hooked since! I use this daily to remove my makeup, and my skin always feels incredibly soft and clean when I'm done. Used with water, it makes a passable cleanser, but if I want to really remove all my makeup (including eyes), I just massage the soap into my face, wet a cotton pad, and continue massaging that into my skin. It leaves my skin so much more supple than any drugstore cleansing cloth ever has. My staple was Clean & Clear's Pore Refining Cloths for a long time, but no longer. This soap has no scent, and produces a very mild lather. Don't let that fool you, though. It does an awesome job of cleansing! continued >>

I really reccomend this product for a quick Clean-on-the-go wash. I dont think its ment to be extremely strong but if your in a rush and desperately need to wash your face then try this.

I didn't like this one. It felt nice and creamy but didn't seem to get my skin clean.
