I have used this cream for over 5 years. I stopped using it, because it clogged my pores, and it made me greasy after a few hours of initial application. It DOES impart an amazing glow and texture, and it is an anti-aging cream. To say that it doesn't correct skin is a lie. I have taken pictures when I was using Alchemy, and my skin was always flawless. After 5 years of using it the effects wore off, and I was over the constant pore clogs, so I stopped using it. I do miss the beautiful, luxurious floral scent, and it does keep your skin and its odors very fresh. Would I go back to it? Yes, even with the pore clogging, it is worth the high price tag. I would just use it as a day time treatment.

This is another product by Remede that I've used for years. The smell is weird but the moisturizer works wonders. Because of the price, I've gone off it for periods of time but everytime I go back, I can see and feel a difference in my skin. For me, it makes my skin very soft, it brightens and it does seen to help with age spots. I live in a very dry climate and a little of this product goes a long way.

There's nothing like Alchemy. The smell is amazing and it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth without being greasy. Perfect for night time or before foundation. You get what you pay for!

Excellent moisturizer. Smells great, no breakouts, perfect hydration without feeling heavy or greasy. BUT, there is no way it is worth $85 for such a small bottle. Sorry, but I'll stick with Bobbi Brown.

I dont understand all the bad reviews. This is the moisturizer that has everything in one. Its emolient, has all the antioxidants, and it smells great. and feels good. In addition its packaged in an airtight pump bottle for cleaningness. I am very happy with this product.

Don't even try, Remede. This is not a celebrity or cult product and not revolutionary. It has a nice texture, sinks fast, has good clean packaging, and smells and looks pretty. But that's about all. As for benefits, there aren't any. No help with skin tone, no help with brightness, and absolutely no help with acne scars as promised. I'm not even convinced the antioxidants have decent deliver. Just as people said, it's an extremely light moisturizer--almost treatment/serum weight--which might make it useful for very oily skin. But not mine for this price.

(I'm reviewing the newly packaged "Alchemy" that's in a glass pump bottle as opposed to the compact.) This feels like a toner+moisturizer in one. It has a strong apple-floral scent (you must love it because it lingers for hours),sinks in immediately, and is very refreshing. I did notice a softening and brightening effect this gave to my skin immediately. That said, I think my skin can only tolerate this product if used only once in a while as a treatment. After just a week of daily use I started experiencing irritation - skin felt raw and overexfoliated and started to breakout around the mouth & jawline. I feel my skin is too sensitive to handle prolonged usage of this moisturizer. If my skin weren't so delicate, I would have loved to make this my HG moisturizer despite the high pricetag. continued >>

Went to Bliss Spa in SoHo and they used this after my facial. It smelled soooo good and made my skin feel soft and yummy. The clinician tried to get me to buy this at the register but I balked at the $88 price tag.
Fast forward 1 year and I'm looking to spice up my Patricia Wexler regimen. I break down and buy this and my skin is like velevt. This is a lift moisturizer that's not too greasy but not too light that it doesn't feel lke it's working....the price is the only thing that kills me....I will alternate between this (with a dollop of Dermalogica Solar Booster since Remede's contains no SPF) and my Patricia Wexler Anti-Aging Moisturizer for day.

It's a good moisturizer, but even though the moisturizer itself is pretty light, it felt too heavy on my skin. I have oily skin, it made my skin shiny and didn't feel like the moisturizer was sinking into my skin.

I am also surprised at the host of bad reviews for this product. I have been using now for almost two years. I have normal skin. For years I bounced from moisturizer to moisturizer in desperation. I could not find one that met my expectations. Since I found this one I have never looked back.
I no longer have to endure dry patches in winter. I no longer have to suffer from a flaky nose or itchy cheeks. My skin has never felt softer. The fragrance is feminine and clean. For some reason I just never tire of it. This product has been a genuine blessing for me.
This is a cream that is best applied sparingly. Expensive moisturizers are much more concentrated than their department store cousins. I use a pea-sized amount and find that to be sufficent to my needs. continued >>

I was so surprised to see so many negative reviews for this. I love this product! Its just the right ammount of moisture for my combo skin and I love the scent! Thank goodness they changed the packaging! My only complaint is price...yet, I find I have to repurchase anyway.

I *really* wanted to like this one. It was nothing special. Just a run of the mill moisturizer, and not a HG.

I really wanted to like this product, and thought I did, until my face started breaking out in these little red (slightly painful) bumps about a week after I started using it. If your skin isn't sensitive, this might be a good product for you but don't use it under makeup. It causes the makeup not to blend well. As for the smell, that I actually kind of like, but I don't blame anyone who doesn't want a smelly face!

Although I've been happy with several Remede products, Alchemy was one of my disappointments. I am very, VERY glad they changed the packaging, but found the scent to be too...frumpy(?) for me and my hubby couldn't stand it! I didn't find it to be an exceptional moisturizer in any way and the apricot color just wasn't right for my particular skin tone. I'm sure it must work well for others, though, but my slightly sensitive, very slightly combination skin just wasn't happy with the product at all. I found it was a wee bit heavy, even for my mostly-normal skin, and just couldn't justify the price at all. I wonder if it's more effecctive if one uses the entire Alchemy line....

This is one of my all time favs for a moisturizer. It makes my skin glow! I am very fair, but my complexion appears peachy after using this. It smells good. Thank goodness for the packaging change - the old packaging was very wasteful and easy to contaminate. I have used this twice - am out now - but would definitely buy again. I can't praise this product enough!!

I was not even remotely impressed by this overpriced, greasy facial moisturizer. Nice light scent but that's about all I can say for it...and the price is insulting for what you get (and incidentally, the reason this two-lippie product was given only one).

I love this stuff! It is light enough for the day but moisterizing enough for night (unless you have older-very dry skin) It somehow gives you a natural flush. I stongly advise you to get this product. The only thing I didn't like was the packaging but the good news is they re-did it in a pump bottle which is much better.

I bought this cream thinking it would work well w/ the Oxygenating Amplifier. Neither did ANYTHING at all to help me get glowing skin and on top of that, packaging really bugs me (large compact looking box with a plastic cover you have to replace every single time after you've used it... TERRIBLE) and the smell wasn't nice at all. WAY too expensive for a try-out. I would definitely ask for a sample (which Neiman is generous at giving out if asked politely) before shelling out $120 for it. BIG REGRET.

This is my favorite moisturizer of all time. It's extremely lightweight, but penetrates like a dream and leaves me extremely hydrated, rosy, and glowing the next morning. I used to pile on 4-5 moisturizers and hope to get what I could with Alchemy, because it's definitely not cheap. But none have, and I have raced to finish them up on my body instead.
