This is a great body cream with a fabulous scent. Vanilla-pear is not very foody; it's more of a clean, slightly spicy scent that is not at all synthetic. It changes as you wear it--at first, it smelled very vanilla-y on me; then it changed to a clean, spicy scent with both the vanilla and pear notes detectable; finally, it settled down to a lovely, feminine, not-too-sweet, not-too-fruity fragrance. The texture of the butter is sublime, too--kind of whipped, not too greasy or dry, and it softens skin *very* well. My only complaint (which is really picky) is that it takes a lot of rubbing to get it to absorb. Other than that, I highly recommend it, especially for the price!

I adore this scent. It's a soft, pretty vanilla aroma with the perfect amount of sweet pear. It's just a lovely scent. It's not too foody, either. My friend has it in a Massage Bar, and I love the scent in this product too. The Body Butter is super moisturizing, but not greasy. The price is right too - $4.95 -- a great deal for an all natural cream.
