I love this lip balm! It's my favorite. It's so moisturizing and I love the tingling feeling it leaves on my lips. I'm not bothered by the smell and taste of it at all. It's cheap and works amazing. But unfortunately I lost mine today while shopping and have to buy another one! :( I use this everyday and it's the best lip balm ever!! I know for sure that I'm gonna repurchase!

I've been using this product since high school. Everytime I feel a cold sore coming, or have a cold sore, or have any sort of irritation, itching or rawness, I put this on during the night and by the following morning, my lips will be back to normal. If you are irritated by menthol, I would avoid this. However, the menthol calms irritation on my lips and gives a wonderful cooling sensation that gives me relief. It also has a short, relatively good ingredient list. I use it more as a medicine for my lips than as a cosmetic/moisturizing aid but I wouldn't be caught dead without this during allergy season or the winter. HG night lip treatment and dirt cheap( i get mine for a dollar!!)

This is by far the greatest lip balm I've ever come across. I always make sure that I have some because it's just become a must have for me! And also very affordable. I got it last for only 99 cents at Wallgreens. I usually just put it on before bed, and when I wake up, my lips feel so soft. It really does what it's supposed to do. I know some people complain about the taste, but I actually quite like it. I also love the minty feeling it gives your lips when you put it on. It gives a nice subtle shine too. Definitely recommend it!

This is the best balm for chapped lips. Superior in every way to Carmex (ew!). My only complaint is the screw-top lid - it seems to attract dust in my bag.

So, my grandmother would send jars and jars of this stuff to us when we lived in Greece and i always used it. At some point i stopped, until my sister re-purchased it and gave me a jar like a month ago. And then i understood why its so loved. THIS IS THE BEST LIP BALM EVER. i applied a coat on my chapped lips and let it do its magic overnight..the next day, the dead skin came right off and voila! Awesome silky smooth lips with no chapping, no dead skin..nothing! this is one thing that i cannot live without!

This is THE holy grail lip balm. It gives a nice stingy sensation and gives this nice shine to your lips, sort of like lip gloss although this isn't the greatest tasting thing in the world, it's not that bad. This normally runs for $1.69 here in NYC at my Walgreens but I found this on sale for $.99. :'D
SO CHEAP OMG
P.S. the jar isn't so bad, you can actually roll it on like a normal chapstick -like packaging although when it gets further down, you're kind of forced to stick your finger that might be crawling with bacteria in it but still it's a good product so whatever. lol

I have used the Blistex Lip Medex on and off for many years; especially during my tween/teen years. I must say, that for such a low price ($1), I get the best healing/moisturizing lip product on the market. The only two problems that I have with the product is the container (screw top) and the smell. Those two problems keep me from using the lip treatment during the day time (I use Burt's Bees Mango Butter lip balm). However, before going to bed, I apply the Lip Medex and it works wonders to keep my lips smooth and moisturized come morning. It's an oldie, but goodie and long time favorite of many. Its definitely a product that you will continuously go back to when all others fail.

I bought this for nearly $4 (damnit, Canada) and it works so well. I had extremely chapped lips for a few days because I was sick and I bought this on a whim at Walmart tonight. A few hours later, my lips are no longer chapped--the menthol is soo soothing! Great product, I will repurchase.

This was the only lip treatment that saved my lips through 6 months of Roaccutane (local brand name for Accutane) treatment. Any other medicated, doctor prescribed, a la natural lip treatment did not work. Just this one. Respect. HG product.

I'm a lip balm addict. I can't seem to walk past a new lip balm w/o buying it. So many of them are great smelling, tingly, great tint for your lips etc.. But this is the one I use during the winter when the chapped lips come out to play.
My dentist suggested I use this when I came in for a cleaning and my lips were so chapped, they cracked & bled when I had to open my mouth wider for her to clean my molars.
AfterI left there, I went to a nearby drug store, bought this & 24 hours later, the painful chapped lips were gone. Nice.
The regular stuff I had been using wasn't moisturizing and/or staying on long. Burts Bees with the wax was actually making them worse. EOS was good, but would not have repaired the cracked/bleeding/chapped skin as quickly.
Does this stuff stay on all day? No.
I haven't had anything stay on all day. But it does stay on hours and is sooooo soothing to chapped lips. Moisturizing to lips that need it.
It's relatively cheap & sold in a wide variety of places.
This stuff could only get better if it plumped lips up. :) continued >>

This product is great. It feels great as soon as you put it on, it lasts a long time, the cooling sensation it leaves on your lips is nice, it really heals chapped lips. I would highly recommend this product.

I don't think there's any product that compares to this one in terms of price and quality. My lips get super dry in winter and when I forget to use balm, I'm licking my lips. I use this stuff liberally, every night and even if I only get a few hours of sleep, I can see a noticeable difference in the condition of my lips the next morning. It does have a nice tingling sensation when you put it on but this stuff tastes horrible so try not to get in your mouth. These are 99cents so I keep a stash of these everywhere. I especially like to use this before I put on matte lipsticks as a mask to plump up my lips for 5 minutes.

I usually only use this during the winter when my lips start peeling or if my lips are very chapped (usually my handy dandy Chapstick or Soft Lips does the trick). This stuff is amazing and the price is ridiculously cheap! You're definitely getting the bang for your buck. I don't mind the cooling sensation but my boyfriend hates anything that gives that tingly feeling because he says it "burns" his lips if I kiss him. I'm not really a fan of tubes because I feel that it's unsanitary if you're dipping your fingers in and out and spreading bacteria but since I don't use this quite often I just make sure my hands are washed well before applying.

This is the only thing that soothed my lips when I had a very bad allergic reaction. My lips swelled up and felt really uncomfortable everything that I tried on my lips burned really bad. So I bought this and it instantly made my lips feel better and in a few days the swelling went away I love this stuff!

Like lots of people, this has been in and out of my life for a long time. I used to be A.D.D.I.C.T.E.D. to it in high school/college. I don't particularly like the menthol/camphor feeling on my lips now and I freaking hate the smell and taste of this stuff. But, it does work to moisturize my lips and keep them smooth, hydrated and flake-free in the dread wintertime. More so than similar products (Carmex, other Blistex balms, etc etc). I will say that in the past few years, I have graduated to more natural balms and while they are more of a crapshoot as far as performance reliability, and more $$, once you find a good one it's a miracle from above. Cue angels and shit. So, I give this a 3 because it has nasty stuff in it that I don't 100% want to be ingesting, but it works pretty well in the short term.

This is not a product that I have to use very often, but when I do, it helps immensely! I sometimes get cold sores, and while this doesn't really help to "heal" them any faster, it makes my lips feel so much better. When I get a cold sore, my lips feel very dry and cracked. My usual lipbalm is just not enough during those times. A little bit of lip medex always does the trick though! It moisturizes and also soothes the itchiness from the cold sore.
However I don't recommend using this everyday. I did so for a few weeks and it seemed like I kept having to apply more and more often, my lips were getting drier. For that reason, I only use it when absolutely necessary. Must be the menthol in it...
This usually comes in a little jar, which is not only more economical, but a lot easier to find. I know a lot of people hate the jar, I've seen the product sold in tubes in a few stores.
Anyway, great product when your lips are extremely dry and I will continue to buy it for that purpose!

I love this lipbalm. I have very chapped lips but I really hate the greasy feeling that other lipbalms leave on my lips so I always ended up wiping them off. But this one was really moisturizing and cooling on the lips. I have other good lipbalms such as Carmex, Softlips and Burt's Bees but out of all, this is the one that I reach for all the time. I highly recommend it BUT everybody has different preference so if you haven't found a good lipbalm yet, them by all means give this a try. This might be the one that you are looking for.
