Where I'm at, it's either sweltering hot or windy cold - so moisturizer is important. I like this product, but either when i'm going to bed or when i'm hanging out with an older crowd for bingo. It smells a lot like walnut cake or scones on me, so people are often noticing that something 'smells' good, but they don't equate it with me, as why would I smell like baked goods on purpose. But it's a fine moisturizer, all in all, just not in public.

This is a super-rich body lotion that needs to be used s-p-a-r-i-n-g-l-y! If you lay it on, you'll be wiping it off. A dime-sized amount is all you need for an entire leg or the upper body. That being said, it has serious lasting power for those who suffer from dry skin (me) and end up applying lotion a couple of times each day. MB makes several body lotions and unless you need the super-strength of the walnut body lotion, choose one with a lighter texture like the lotion 2000.

The first time I used it i piled the lotion on my body as I always do with body lotions and it was really greasy and took ages to sink in. Next time I used it very sparingly and it wasn't half as greasy and didn't take half the time to dry in. The trick is to use this very sparingly as it is a very greasy lotion. Apart from that it does moisterise pretty well and has a pleasant sweet almod smell to it. Would I buy it again? No because i like my lotions to sink in immediatly and there wasn't anything particulary fabulous with this lotion.

I really don't get all the bad reviews for this body lotion. I have extremely dry skin on my body and I've tried EVERY single body lotion, milk, butter - you name it - available. This one is the only one, that actually left my skin moisturised over night! I actually woke up with no dry skin, as I usually do. I could't beleive it! I higly recommend this body lotion and it smells awesome!

i have normal body skin, with dry patches on my elbows. i experience dryness of the hands in the winter.
this lotion is extremely lightly scented. if you can detect any sort of unpleasant and rancid walnutty smell, your lotion has turned. walnut oil goes off very rapidly.
it absorbed quickly and moisturized well. i prefer a more fun or scented lotion. continued >>

I like the scent and the texture. Feel a little bit greasy and do not provide enough moisture for me thou.

i have dry skin and got a sample of this included with my other samples. it smells like granola (which i like), but the scent doesn't last. it is a bit greasy (which i don't mind) but the moisture didn't last either.

I don't like this lotion. It smells awful, like oil and it doesn't make a difference on my skin. The texture is nice though.

I wasnt really cranky about this product. It felt really heavy and thick on even though I have super dry skin and took a while to absorb. The smell was basically non existant as well.
