I agree....Sephora's pictures led me to believe that this would be a sheer or at least glossy color. It is matte and not at all sheer...I chose 'red' and it is red indeed....maybe for special occasions, but not everyday..will not buy again

This was a big disappointment. Sephora made the product look so shiny and gorgeous and the colors so soft and pretty....I just had to bite. I doesn't live up to any of those promises. The pink was flat and boring. The texture wasn't the gorgeous glossy rich finish I was expecting. In fact, it was difficult to apply and quite thick and opaque. This might be okay if you are looking for a heavy liquid lipstick.....but sephora is marketing this a beautiful, fresh lip lacquer. Totally misleading.
